Golden arrow

A dream-within-a-dream consisted of a single static image: a horizontally oriented golden arrow against a plain white background. The head, shaft, fletching, and nock were all the same golden color. I believe the head was on my left and the nock on my right, though I'm not 100% confident of that.

I then "woke up" (but was still dreaming) and thought the arrow dream a happy omen. In particular, I thought Bill would probably view it positively. Black arrows, or arrows with black feathers, had been a negative symbol, so a golden arrow would surely be an improvement.

In the morning, really awake this time, I picked up some channeled material of Leo's which I have been reading. I had only been reading a few minutes when I read that "golden arrows were sent forth to prevent [the] interference" of parents who were trying to protect their children from wolves. A word search of the document confirms that this is the first and only mention of golden arrows; two prior mentions of arrows were both of the "black-feathered arrows" of the Numenoreans.

So apparently not such a great omen after all.

My first childhood dream that I can remember was a nightmare that I would later tie, on one level, to the Numenorean assault on Eressea as written by Daymon, specifically the wolves hunting children as well as monsters coming out of caves.

A golden arrow was a central symbol of that dream. I would see a man I identified at the time as my father lying on a bed with a glowing, golden arrow protruding out of his chest. He was dead, or at least incapacitated, by this arrow, and two children (who I associated at the time with my older sister and me) were left alone in the house while a wolf was coming for them. So in that dream, at least, the golden arrow wasn't a particularly positive symbol.

Leo may have been aware of that dream when he wrote that part you referenced. I don't know. I don't believe I have or read that material.

William,
And speaking of Golden arrows and a grounded Ava, but not
a sparrow , Oh My!!
Check this out!:

Another sign of chaos just happened
that is not only bubbling
on the world stage, but especially in America and especially
in aviation, but also in all industries
having to do with petroleum.

Of course petroleum is needed for
just about EVERYTHING including aviation
and including the food supply.

Everything is connected
and when one domino falls....

Back story,
In 2015 ( after my Feb 2015 Where'My Horn? dream )
and through2020 I was trying to blow the horn about what
I believed was going to be a dramatic shift
on a global scale.

I did the best I could (blowing the horn)
by commenting on different
youtube channels especially if a particular
post had anything to do with what I believe/believed
was going to be a dramatic shift in the future.

One youtube channel ( the creator's name is Steve)
flew for Spirit Airlines.
The fact that I flew for American Airlines for a brief
amount of time way back in the day
I felt gave me a little bit of 'credence'
to speak on that particular topic.

In 2020 I shared with Steve that I believed
the aviation industry
was going to dramatically change, and I shared
( with links ) to help support why I believed that.

One major link was the WEF's Zero Carbon Emission
mandate.
Steve responded to my post and said that
I was a doom and gloomer and didn't know the " F"
I was talking about.

Fast forward to May2 2026 and on Steve's latest video
he shared that he of course was among the 17K
who had lost their job.

Spirit Airlines ceased operations SATURDAY,
May 1. May 1 was Beltane.
Copy and paste: asterisks mine
"Beltane is mentioned in the earliest Irish literature
and is associated with important events
in Irish mythology. Also known as Cétshamhain
(possibly 'first of summer'), it marked the beginning
of summer and was when *** cattle were driven out
to the summer pastures.

These gatherings were accompanied by a feast,
and some of the food and drink would be
offered to the aos sĂ (the 'fairy folk').

****Doors, windows, byres and livestock
were decorated with ****yellow**** May flowers,
perhaps because they ****evoked fire."
~~~~~~~~~~~
Lo and behold Spirit Airlines was grounded on Beltane.
Think that was a coincidence?
Today ( May 3 ) I was speaking to someone
whom I personally know about my belief that
Spirit Airlines was used as the Canary in
the Coal mine to warn about more upcoming
chaos and that our opponents use 'code'
through words and symbolism to 'speak'
to those who knows the language.
I personally believe ( and this is what
I commented about on Steve's youtube
channel in 2020 )
that in the US WEF's Zero Carbon Emissions
will include a grounding of more airlines
and that the three legacy carriers ( Delta, American
and United) will be bought out by the Government
owned and operated much like the post office.
So yeah, I believe Spirit was the Canary in the Coal
Mine.
A canary of course is bright yellow
as are Spirit's aeroplanes.
I was actually hoping earlier today
that you would post something
having to do with yellow/golden and air
( which of course an arrow qualifies ) so that I
could comment and would be on topic
with this ( I believe to be ) very important
sign..... and lo and behold.
Sync fairies be workin' overtime, no?
William,
I just found this information about Beltane
and holy wells.
I thought Interesting given the subject of wells
recently being in the sync stream.
Also regarding Spirit Airlines
their last flight was to DFW.
Dallas sounds familiar?
Dallas Fort Worth is on the 33 degree
parallel.
The 33 degree parallel is the ley line
where sacrifices are performed.
The Spirit 'sacrifice' being the Canary.
Bill, I know you've posted about that nightmare before, but I had no conscious memory of the golden arrow in it. The subconscious likely remembered, though, leading the dream to connect that symbol with you in particular.
Whether or not Leo knew of your nightmare when he wrote that, my happening to read it just after dreaming of a golden arrow remains a sync.
Two follow-ups on this:
First, after I posted my comment above, I was thinking through this notion you had that if a black arrow was bad, surely a golden arrow must be good. I thought it was a reasonable assumption, notwithstanding my childhood dream. As I thought of it, though, the phrase "Black gold" came to me, and I remembered the oil sometimes has been referred to as Black Gold. So, at least in that instance, something could be referred to as both black and gold. Anyway, I popped back on here right after thinking that to see that Debbie had left a comment featuring petroleum, oddly.
Second, I was trying to see if there was a more positive meaning to Golden Arrow given your dream that I would view this as a good thing. I didn't come up with anything, but my subconscious must have been working on it overnight, because I woke up this morning with a scene from the Disney cartoon movie "Robin Hood" on my mind. Robin Hood, and even that Disney cartoon specifically, came up on my blog, so it was something I paid attention to.
The scene specifically involved "The Tournament of the Golden Arrow", in which Robin Hood, dressed up in disguise as a stork, enters a tournament put on by Prince John in order to win the Golden Arrow and a kiss with Maid Marian. I had featured the scene on my old blog.
I guess the Golden Arrow has been associated with the Robin Hood legend going back much farther. And there is another Robin Hood film from the 30's which features the Golden Arrow. The movie stars Errol Flynn as Robin, which I had touched on before, as I think of it, and takes us right back to Xanadu.
Of course, in the Robin Hood legend, the Golden Arrow is also a symbol of treachery given Prince John's designs, so there is that.
I was familiar with the Disney scene, obviously, but had never seen the Eroll Flynn take on the tournament. I found it, and noted an interesting reference. As Robin is being presented with the Golden Arrow, Guy asks "How is that you didn't use a black arrow today?" as they recognize who he is. I don't know the backstory from the clip, but from Robin's response connects it with Death, and a final judgment ("That's my court of last resort, Sir Guy. It's verdict is always final.").
So, another linking of a gold and black arrows of some kind that I hadn't expected in watching the clip. Here it is. Most relevant part starts at about 2:40
Interesting. Sir Guy could be a link back to the Guy Fawkes mask syncs, I suppose.
The lack of any context in the dream makes the golden arrow very hard to interpret with any confidence.
WW,
I watched the Robin Hood video and my take on the black arrow
and this statement:
"That's my court of last resort, Sir Guy. It's verdict is always final."
The nigredo is the beginning of the alchemical transformation.
The Blackness ( shadow) doesn't necessarily mean evil or bad.
All transformations are frightening because the 'final'
creation/manifestation is unrecognizable to the original.
The Phoenix is a totally
different bird after it goes through the fire
and in many instances, it's a better bird.
IMHO, that's the finality.
Apparently you have to catch three foxes to get the golden arrow.
I am a little late to this discussion but Bill is correct. I was most definitely aware of his dream when I wrote that and in fact I recognized it as a direct reference to his dream. One could of course argue that I merely inserted it into the writing but I can tell you my experience was not one of creation or consciously weaving material together but one of listening and writing in rapid succession. That is not to say my material has any merit (or doesn't). It's only to say that I did not intentionally insert a reference to Bill's dream into my writing even though I did immediately recognize it as a likely reference to it when I wrote it.
