Didn't all prophets at some point emerge from a cave?
The next day, May 13, I checked The Babylon Bee and found an article, published May 11, with the headline "'There, It Couldn't Be More Clear,' Announces John After Finishing Revelation." It begins thus:
PATMOS — The Apostle John emerged from his cave earlier this week feeling confident that he couldn't have been more clear in his description of the revelation he'd received.
There is no reference in the Bible to John of Patmos ever having been in a cave, but apparently there is an extrabiblical tradition to that effect. The wording corresponds almost exactly to Debbie's.
The whole article is about how sure John is that he has expressed himself with perfect clarity, which should "keep anyone from coming up with weird interpretations" of his book. The joke is of course that Revelation is notoriously cryptic and confusing and has generated thousands of mutually incompatible interpretations. Calling it "clear" is so obviously false that it's comical.
On the night of May 13, some hours after reading the Bee article, I began listening to the latest installment in the series with Latter-day Chad on Zion Media:
At the 15-minute mark, host Shane Baldwin says:
Literally, John himself visited me when I was in prison in 2015, and he taught me this, and it's plain, and it's simple. And Revelation is, the Book of Revelation is one of the most plain and simple books you could ever read, once you have the codex.
I don't know what he means by codex here; I think it was a slip of the tongue, and he meant something like "they key to the code." Codex just means "book," though -- a modern-style book with pages as opposed to a scroll. Whatever Baldwin intended to say, what he actually said is that all you need in order to understand the Book of Revelation -- to experience it as "one of the most plain and simple books you could ever read" -- is to have the book itself.
The Bee article says the same thing:
When asked by a scribe the exact identity of the beast with ten horns and seven heads, John sighed with impatience and said to just read what he wrote."It's literally spelled out," said John. "All you have to do is read it. I can't make it simpler than that."
And, although the historical John would almost certainly have written on a scroll, the illustration accompanying the Bee article shows him with a codex.

first funny thing i've seen from the BB in a long, long time.
William,
I've been researching Angel Moroni after reading and commenting
on your recent post. Very interesting indeed
especially about the horn!
What really got my attention was the Angel Moroni statue
in Bern, Switzerland, which the horn is still intact no?
As you may recall I've share my 11/22/2018 Oscar
dream with you many many times. Just a recap
of the dream:
In the dream I was at my boyfriend's parents' house
which I felt to be Switzerland. At one point
in the dream, I was outside and as far as I could
see were snowcapped mountains. I felt the house
was on the top of a mountain.
IRL I've never been to Switzerland.
In the dream my boyfriend, whose
name was Oscar, was a very pale, somewhat pudgy
red head.
I felt that we both were young ( in our mid to late 20's ).
Oscar wore a rust color wool hat which after
many hours of researching the symbolism in the dream,
I concluded that the hat was a Phrygian Cap.
After the dream, I googled red hair, white male, wool red hat
and I immediately found an illustration which lo and behold
looked very similar to Oscar ( see link ).
In real life, I do not know anyone who looks like that
nor do I know of any one whose name is Oscar.
Marshall certainly does not look like Oscar
nor does Marshall have red hair.
In the dream, Oscar's parents had a golden retriever, which came
over to me for a belly rub and I felt as if
the golden retriever knew me. At one point I saw
my black sandals that I have IRL under a table by the door
and I thought, I've been here before.
At one point my brother came to Oscar's house
to meet Oscar to make sure he was 'worthy'
to date me. Something like what a father would
do to a suitor.
My brother decided to test Oscar and asked
him a very obscure question which many people would not know.
I don't remember what that question was unfortunately.
Oscar answered immediately and responded; Bern.
My brother gave his approval.
Also another interesting connection is (as I commented
previously) at the unveiling of The Golden Don statue, the pastor's
name chosen for the unveiling ceremony is named,
Mark Burn.
There is another Burn connection.
When researching of course as you know, one path
leads to a gazillion and I found the information
about Hill Cumorah Cave. One look at the coordinates
and I thought: hmmmm, that's interesting.
On the 40th parallel north and 77th Merdian West.
Two very powerful ley lines as I've commented
on many times before.
When reading about the golden plates and the
hill, I thought of a dream I had on Jan 27 2017
which I titled : Up on a Hill and Place Letters.
I won't go into all of the dream, but
my cousin was in this dream, as was her daughter
and granddaughter. The granddaughter was the
focus of the dream and her name IRL is Trinity.
In the dream, Trinity's father was killed in a car
crash and was told ( by her father's spirit )
to go up a hill and place letters.
Trinity's father is not dead IRL.
I'm not saying that the dream has connection
to Hill Cumorah, but I did think of the dream
when I was reading Hill Cumorah's wiki page.
Also the dream I had about Trinity is the only
dream I've had about her. I haven't seen her in over
15 years.
