Julio-Claudian octopods and cats named Cat
Not only does Alfred Molina play both Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2 and an actual octopus in Remarkably Bright Creatures, but the names of the characters also sync. Doc Ock's real name is Otto Octavius, while the octopus in Creatures is called Marcellus. In Roman history, Octavius is the birth name of Caesar Augustus, and Marcellus is his nephew.

These syncs would seem to reinforce the idea of octopus as empire; particularly this association, in two separate works, each involving Alfred Molina (Elvish "molindo", worker; "mólië", slavery), and each involving an octopus named after a member of the original Roman imperial family.
The number eight seems significant here. Is the octopus a living depiction of eight? Otto is eight outright, Octavius presumably embeds eight too.
Incidentally, I was reminded that Batman's batman is named Alfred (trans. "elf counsel") in his major iteration.
Feeding a stray cat and calling it "Cat" implies a mild or modest degree of compassion. I once had a relation by marriage who would refer to my cat as "Cat" and never by its given name. I took it to indicate a certain indifference, yet not completely so. In Roman history, we have the Cat-iline conspiracy, that made Cicero's reputation.
I happen to be feeding a stray tom these days in addition to the permanent-resident felines. It is my practice to name everything, though, so the stray is called Timofey.
One of my own toms is called Scipio on account of his uncanny facial resemblance to a particular bronze bust of that general, so there's an indirect link to Octavius and Marcellus. I don't suppose it's terribly common to name either cats or octopuses after figures from Roman history.
Cat as a name has been in the sync stream in the person of Cat Stevens. I suppose a guy named Guy (Fawkes) is also not dissimilar to a cat named Cat. It's a pity he never got to meet the gal named Gal (Gadot).

Although it may appear that my comment today on
this thread isn't on topic,
however and IMHO my comment is on topic
because of the connection with the number 8
and my many many comments
about why and whom I believe are the eights.
This comment connects back to many of my puzzle
pieces and comments and syncs in your stream,
especially as it connects to Oscar as Mithras and
to my Oscar dream and my brother ( in the dream)
and the 'handshake'.
It also connects the eights as octagons in Switzerland,
your batman posts and Mithras' torch,
white robes and white bulls, caves and caverns and Beatles
and the Octopus's Garden, Luna and the crescent moon
and my crescent Coach bag. Oh My!!
However and most important IMHO is the sacrifice /slaying
of the bull which I now come to believe
is the big picture of the puzzle.
I believe that big picture is the demise/slaying of the American Empire
especially economically, symbolic of the Charging Bull representing
Wall Street.
I also believe the that WHY of the big picture
is the ushering in a Technocracy via
a Triumvirate Governance which I believe
will usher in John Dee's and Plato's The New Atlantis
via The Great Reset.
In Israel, the bull slaying being the sacrifice of the Red Heifer
ushering in The Third Temple, and The Greater Israel.
Twin Golden Gates, which I believe is the WHY of
Operation Epic Fury.
Backstory;
Today 5/28 I took a nap and when I woke up, I had an
epiphany to research a bit more about Mithras as truth be told
I had no clue whatsoever about him before your posts
and I've been very intrigued since.
Lo and behold as I was reading Mithras' wiki page
I read this:

Oscar a very obscured question that only a few people
would know. Oscar correctly answered BERN.

Also interesting having connection to Mithras and my brother,
is the connection to the Roman Feasts which according
to the excellent narration ( link below ), feasts being
a very important ritual in Roman mythology.
So, you ask: how does feasting connect to my Oscar dream?
In the dream, my brother came to Oscar's parents
house not only to meet Oscar but to go out to dinner with us,
although he declined citing that he came with
several people and he had to leave with them.

In my research I found a reference
to Fordo and Bilbo Baggins. For some odd reason I decided
to google: Bilbo Baggins and Buggo, and lo and behold!
I'm sure you know the connection I found.
I had no clue whatsoever about any of this before today.
My brother is 5 years younger than me. My older sister and I gave
him the name Buggo when he was about 7 because he
was always 'buggin' us.

Note that Turkey is on the 40th , which Anthony's father

copy and paste I wrote in my comment.
When I researched a bit more I couldn't find a connection
regarding Buggo and Bilbo which is why I asked you
because I know that you are very familiar with
Tolkien's work.
I do fact check information as much as possible
and of course is the reason why I most always provide links
on all my comments. This one slipped by me.
With that said and really the purpose of my comment
was the so very odd connection of my 2018 Oscar
dream, my brother's role in that dream and
the handshake with Oscar which 'coincidently'
has connection with the Cult of Mithras initiates
who called themselves syndexioi : those

I had a very strange dream having
a connection to scorpions ( actually
in the dream a friend ( her name is Pam
who is a Scorpio ) was in the dream driving a bus.
I don't speak to this friend very often any longer
and haven't seen her in over 8 years or so.
I've had a dream about her maybe
once or twice in the 40 years we've known each other.
So as the title suggests of this new article
posted on The Season of Return blog,
my friend appearing in my dream was like,
once in a Blue Moon.
When I woke up from the dream, I felt uneasy
about it wondering why Pam
was driving a bus, because the symbolism
of a bus in a dream means something is
going to happen that is going to affect multiple
people and the dreamer has no control over
because somebody else is driving.
In this case and in the dream Pam
was driving the bus.
In the dream, I was walking down the steps
getting OFF of the bus and looked back
and saw Pam.
The dream was the day before I read about
a scorpion having a connection with Mithras,
and the bull which again, after reading that in the wiki article
, I thought hmmm, what's the odds?
And now today ( May 29)
when I read the mention of the scorpions,
in this Blue Moon post on The Season of Return blog
I thought once again, hmmmm..
