Do what is Wright, let the consequence follow

Last night, Bill Wright left a comment ending thus:

Anyway, I wrote all of the above before reading your latest post [this one] with that message. I don't particularly view it as a positive thing, but let's see what we can do. It sounds like some people still aren't too convinced about you.

I found that I was annoyed by that "let's see what we can do" -- meaning what, "let's try to finesse it into something positive"? God forbid. What? shall we receive good at the hand of sync, and shall we not receive evil? A line from a Mormon hymn came forcefully to my mind: "Do what is right, let the consequence follow" -- Fiat justitia ruat caelum -- meaning, in this context, do your best to find the right (i.e. true or correct) interpretation, regardless of whether that seems superficially "good" or "bad" for "you," and trust the justice of God. (Note: I assume Bill would agree with this and don’t mean to imply otherwise. I’m just recording my immediate reaction to what he wrote.)

Then at noon today, I found a new comment from Bill discussing a sync in which he saw a poster advertising a play called "Do What's Wright."

See the opening song of Aldnoah Zero for a literal interpretation of Fiat justitia ruat caelum.

William,
We find our peace and balance when we are true to our soul and
when we never allow someone else to tell us what's Wright or Wrong.
Chaos occurs when we lose our way hOMe.

I would have been irritated as well, I guess, if I were you.

Just to be clear, my comment "Let's see what we can do" had nothing to do with putting lipstick on a pig, or trying to change the message or sync into something more positive. I fully interpreted it as saying Jack would be Dry because he had Stolen something, and by Dry this meant Unbaptized. Full stop. With the implication that some Being felt strongly enough to share it in the form they did.

I think we are dealing with Beings who clearly have psychic and telepathic abilities, so much so that in real time, you observed a 3-year-old, non-English speaking child influenced in such a way as to create a remarkable message using a creative and symbolic medium. Mouths and stamps of babes, man. And I think there are many voices and I'm pretty sure they aren't all correct, by the way, even if they display some impressive capabilities over our own world, including syncs.

As I said, this felt very similar to your earlier experience, roughly one year ago, where some Being(s) seemed to be asking the question about why the Numenoreans would come to their lands and steal their "pumpkins" when they had already been blessed with so much on their own lands. That was a question, though, and this appeared to be a statement or declaration.

My instinct was to try and engage with whoever felt that way. It is the same thing I tried to do a year ago. However, as I wrote yesterday, this time around I ultimately just didn't have a response in me, for whatever reason.

So yes, your ultimate thought of finding the right interpretation regardless of the consequences is exactly my thinking as well.
