An old bobcat had long commanded a large hill, successfully defending this much-coveted territory from predators much larger than himself by sheer ferocity and indomitable spirit. The bobcat was getting old, though, and constantly going up and down the hill was starting to wear him out. I saw the bobcat sweating profusely (which cats do not do in real life), and his wet fur clung to his body, making him look considerably smaller than he had before. A young cougar saw his chance. He leapt up at the old bobcat, and (I remember this part of the narration verbatim) "a fan of claws came out like a tray of knives," and then --
Just before the shockingly explicit scene of the old bobcat meeting his bloody end, I closed the book from which I had been reading -- for, it was revealed, the voice had been my own, and the imagery had been that called forth by the words.
"This author doesn't flinch," I said. "That scene really traumatized me as a child. I was probably much too young to be reading" -- I held up the book so that the title and author's name on the cover were clearly visible -- "I Am the Most Thinking Religious Beast by Daufin Rose."

So sharing a couple thoughts and things here in an effort to solve some riddles.
The bobcat imagery took me back to your "Cary Yale" post. Looking at the comments there, I had tied the bobcat to Joseph-Ausir, which then might make sense of a few other things. I also note that you specifically called the bobcat in that dream a "beast". Further, mention of a "Beauty and the Beast" came up in you syncs a few days ago, which also might tie in.
Anyway, I had left a comment on your your Train dream post with words from 2020 that I had associated with the Train/ Mr. Train. Interestingly, in those words was this mention of "think think think", which potentially ties to this notion of the a being who is "the most thinking".
"Religious" has some pretty interesting literal meanings in this context, as does "Beast". Per Etymonline, Beast is from the Latin which means "wild animal". Interestingly, the word replaced "Deor" in that regard, the Old English word for wild animal. Deor is a pretty good linke with Dior, one of Joseph's names, and specifically the one he bore when he was murdered at Doriath.
In other words, just as I associated the bobcat of your earliery vision with Joseph, I think this 'religious beast' may have the same association. At least some tie to Joseph would be supported by the name of the author of that dream book, whose last name is Rose, and whose first name is a version of Dolphin, potentially, and thus a Whale.
The disturbing story of the bobcat's killing at the hands of the cougar may take us right back to Doriath, if the bobcat's association with Dior-Joseph is correct. This also brings in a dream from 2019 that links pretty specifically to the verbatim phrase about the knives you remembered and related in this post. I'll share that in a separate comment.
In the dream, I walked into a dark room. It was night outside, and a pretty violent storm was going on. In the room sat Daymon, and on either side of him were individuals who I understood to be with him, sitting in something like a semi-circle.
I entered the room and sat down in front of him. He had a smile on his face, but it was not a kind smile. His eyes were cold and icy, and seemed to have some amount of malice toward me. He looked down onto his lap, and my eyes followed his gaze. He was holding something with a cloth cover on it. He removed the cover, which revealed something like a tray with a knife sitting on it (I only remember the one knife - your dream mentions a multiple, but it could be that I was just focused on one of them... I don't know).
Lightning struck outside and I looked back up into Daymon's face, and he was staring at me with that same cold look and smile. I felt like I had stepped into an ambush, and had the thought that the knife was intended for me. I then woke up.
I would later, for whatever reason, associate that dream and the image of the knife with the events at Doriath, where Dior-Joseph was murdered. Daymon recounts a version of that event in his second book, but as I've stated, I feel that version is very much fabricated.
Tying this dream back to your dream story of the bobcat and the cougar is then pretty interesting. As you know from my earlier blog, my guess is that it was actually Dairon who was responsible for Joseph's death and what happened at Doriath. Further, you know that Dairon is associated in my mind with a Daymon, and that both, in turn, are associated with Brigham Young.
As you also would know, the Cougar is strongly associated with the name of Brigham Young via the university: The Brigham Young Cougars.
So, following this line of thinking, you may have a reference in the bobcat and the cougar to Joseph-Dior and Brigham Young-Dairon.
Interesting links, Bill. My own thought about the "tray of knives" reference was that it may have been a play on words referencing the Trey of Swords, which as it happens is the most recent Tarot card I have drawn. ("Trey" is an alternative name for a Three, like "Deuce" for a Two.) It shows three swords piercing a heart.
Trey for three would definitely tie in to the Three Musketeers theme.
I just looked up Musketeers and noted that Musket is from the word "Musca" which means "a fly". So, potential fly connection there, or rather a reference to three flies. One fly in our story has been Pharazon.
Also of note is that the Three Musketeers candy bar was created by Frank Mars, giving us both the Mars reference as well as France.
Looking up the Three of Hearts, it was interesting to see that in the background were rain clouds, imagery of the story in my dream of Daymon with the knife. Further, the rain cloud imagery, and the Three of Swords card itself, seems to link to both betrayal and pain. Both were involved in the death of Joseph and events at Doriath.
In fact, it was the echoes of that pain that the blue wizards followed to find Joseph in Daymon's version of the William Alizio story involving Joseph and Asenath. They were said to be "seeking for his Grief".
I should note that a knife was also involved in Caesar's assassination, with the recorded autopsy suggesting the fatal blow was to his chest, and so possibly his heart. He was also killed by what would have been quite a few knife blades.
William,
From another perspective and perhaps
a big picture perspective ;
Bob (as in bobcat) is Ro-bert meaning Bright Fame.
A Shinning One which has been in the sync stream
many times including
connecting to my personal puzzle pieces of Ro-bards.
In my case a bard. A bard is a poet. A writer.
Poetry is a 'singing' of words
and singing is sound and music. Which sound and music
changes our frequency.
Cats have also been in the recent syn streams.
Cat in the Hat wears a Big Hat. The elite of their
day wore what was called, Top Hats for formal events.
. President Lincoln wore a Top Hat. So did
Churchill.
Top hats are symbolic of the elites lofty position,
which circles back to Ro and Fame. The EL-ite's
were Shining Ones because they were 'bert( bright/shiny).
As you know cats especially big cats ( Lions )
were/are symbolic of power.
As I am writing this about the Top Hats for some odd reason
the 1946 song "Puttin' on the Ritz', came to
mind. What's also odd is that several days
ago, I wrote a comment responding to something WW
had written about Astarte. I'm assuming
in his comment WW was referring
to the Egyptian goddess Astarte.
I don't recall what WW wrote
but I do recall my response which was
weaving and connecting Fred Astaire to the topic
at hand. I think my comment was about the connection
of Fred Astaire and his (Astaire) 'winged/swift ' feet,
symbolic of Hermes and Mercury.
For some reason, I didn't publish my response
to WW's comment, but
interestingly a few days later while
I was researching the list of people on the Sgt.
Piper ( Pepper) album in response to your recent post,
lo and behold I saw that Fred Astaire
was in that list. That immediately caught my attention
as I thought it odd and now the sync fairies
seemed to have crossed
my path with Astaire once again for this comment.
See link below of Astaire and his top hat,
and his Hermes feet and the scepter he holds
all while Puttin' on the Ritz.
Circling back to Michael Jackson, Michael
was a huge admirer of Astaire's work, both
Michael and Astaire having ' winged feet'.
Regarding the Egyptian Goddess Astarte has yet
another connection to Lions.
Copy and paste: asterisks mine
"In various cultures, Astarte was connected with some combination
of the following spheres: war, sexuality,***royal power, ***
beauty, healing
and — especially in Ugarit and Emar — hunting;
Her symbol was the*** lion and she was also often associated
with the horse and by extension chariots.
The dove might be a symbol of her as well, as evidenced
by some Bronze Age cylinder seals."

I believe that when the initiate walks through the portal
and transcends the illusion,
on the other side is a powerful and lonely place
indeed and I would add a frightening place because
the truth is extremely different from the illusion.
A place for only the few.

William,
I forgot to add that the lyrics in Puttin' on the Ritz, mention's
Sticks.
Another possibly relevant coincidence: I drew the Trey of Swords on September 8. Two days before, on September 6, I had read in the Book of Samuel about how Joab "took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom" (2 Sam. 18:14).
https://newworldisland.org/bible/?2%20Samuel%2018#14
William,
Keep an eye on the Feast of Trumpets ( Sept 23, 2025 ).
William,
Just one more interesting point
about Astaire's Puttin' on the Ritz.
First of all I found another video, with much better quality.
What's interesting is that at one point in the original dance
number when Astaire is dancing with other men, there is a
scene starting about marker/frame 3:29
where Astaire and the other men dancing behind him lay down
their 'sticks/scepters.
At that point they all wave their hands over the sticks
as if putting a 'magical spell' on the sticks thereby turning
the sticks into magical wands.
If you note very quickly Astaire and all
of the Top Hat's 'stick' fly's up into
their hands like magic.
I'm only mentioning this because of your WAND syncs.
The video link is a review of Puttin' on the Ritz.
Parts of the actual dance starts about marker 1:01.
I can't find a video of just the original dance by itself.

I don' t think Debbie would understand the significance of the Feast of Trumpets in Mormon theology (maybe I am wrong) , so the timing of her comment above, where she tells you to keep an eye on that date is interesting, purely for sync purposes.
I had earlier today left a comment on your Train dream post relative to "the experience of Joseph Smith" and guessed that the specific experience might have something to do with Nephi's visit to Joseph (with Nephi being Gandalf, and tying to your thought that Gandalf was, like the train, a wizard that neither early or late).
Nephi's initial visit to Joseph was on the night before Rosh Hashanah in 1824 (and during the fall equinox), and he returned to visit him every year around that day. The plates were finally delivered in 1827 on the first day of Rosh Hashanah.
Another name for the holiday I guess is Yom Teruah, which means "Day of Blowing". You've had a few syncs and things with "blow" as a symbol recently.
An potentially relevant tie-in to trumpets and blowing comes from my story or theory of early 2020. In that story, I have Gandalf-Nephi and company travelling through SLC in early 2020 on their way to Idaho to help with getting Joseph's missing bobcat tale/ tail (the Rose Stone). On March 18, they initiated a targeted earthquake that served to dislodge the trumpet from the statue on top of the iconic Mormon temple there. To Mormons that statue is named Moroni, but obviously in my story that is a case of mistaken identity, and it is Nephi-Gandalf instead.
WW,
Regarding my understanding of The Feast of Trumpets :
I've gathered information from a vast spectrum of ideologies
( the good, the bad and the ugly ) mostly
through a metaphysical lens from my thousands of puzzle pieces
I've gathered sparked by dreams and paranormal experiences over
a lifetime and research spanning a gazillion of hours
and years thanks to the internet.
My Feb 2015 Where's My Horn dream was the reason why
I wrote on this blog : to keep an eye on the Feast of Trumpets
on Sept 23, 2025. It's not a sync ,at least not to me.
It was my Horn dream
in Feb 2015 and the gazillion hours of research that led
me to ( and why I've formed my perspective and predictions
regarding ) : the Golden Gates( Jerusalem and San Fran)
the Shemita, the rams horn,
the tabernacles, the Red Heifer and more importantly
The Third Temple. It was after the research
in 2015 that I predicted
that Donald Trump would be POTUS , and Trump didn't even
announce running until June 2015 , his birth month.
4 months after I had the dream.
I absolutely believe that Trump was ' selected' to be Cyrus
( both 2016 and 2024 )
which I've commented and provided many links to
here on William's blog. BB has even stated that Trump
is Israel's Cyrus. Trump was selected as POTUS
to announce Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
in Dec 2017, which is exactly what he did.
That was historic.
I had No CLUE whatsoever about
the significance of the Third Temple, the Ram's Horn
Golden Gate aka The Shushan Gate, and Trump-Pence
(Trumpet ) as King Cyrus before the dream.
Things on the world stage are unfolding rapidly
and I believe that most of us can agree on that, especially
in America. Many signs have been given.
A lot of what's is happening on the world stage, I've predicted
many years ago. I had a dream about C-19
in early January of 2020.
My Feast of Trumpets comment was just what
I believe could be a significance marker in the unfolding
of a very precarious time in history.
Look what just happened in Poland and Utah.
Utah on the 40'th parallel north.
I post links to somewhat support whatever I've commented on
but the small amount of links that I do post by no means indicates
that those links I post are the only source I've formed my perspective
from.
I personally don't believe in anybody's everything.
Not saying I'm 100 right but I know that I'm not 100 percent wrong
either.
I'm only sharing another perspective.
These 2 recent links are just one of many.

WW,
I just want to add this one more point.
I found the End Times Descending blog
in 2017 or so
while doing additional research on my March 24 1997
Hale Bopp dream.
You can imagine my shock when I found Corey's blog
with information that mirrors my own.
Scroll down and note
the date that the first Hale-Bopp post was written
is July of 2017.
2 years AFTER I had my Where's my Horn dream..

The single heart stabbed with three swords also strikes me as a nod to the Ace of Hearts.
You've linked the Ace of Hearts to Zion ("One Heart") and I've linked it additionally to the one who founded Zion: Enoch, who is Eonwe, Michael, etc.
So, the image here is not a positive one, I wouldn't think. Evidence suggests Three Musketeers involved in the what is represented by this Heart being stabbed. I related my earlier dream which seemed to show Brigham in possession of one of these three knives. We would need to track down the other two.
Enough symbolism and links have tied to Caesar's assassination, Beware the Ides of March, etc., and some specific references to Cassius as to have it be a reasonable guess that the individual associated with Cassius would be the second Musketeer.
That would just leave us with a third Musketeer to identify.
By the way, I also agree your Absalom link must tie in. I was reminded of my "Asshat Asbalom" phrase from awhile ago. I had, and still do, guess that Asbalom was an Elvish phrase. It referred to a powerful voice, and it seemed Saruman was a straightforward answer to this. However, either your or Leo (I can't remember who) had suggested Absalom (by switching the a and the b). I looked up the name and its meaning, and found it meant "The Father of Peace".
The Father of Peace would be another reference, stripped of the biblical context, to Enoch-Michael, and the city of Zion. So, I think the guess regarding the bobcat and the cougar are pretty good at this point.
The Three of Swords showing the rain behind, besides being a strong link to the grief of Joseph, also ties right in with the story of Enoch, Pharazon, etc. and the allusion to "heavens weeping" in God's grief and with the flood (Moses 1).
In any case, we have potential guesses as to two of the three Musketeers. It will be interesting to see if a strong candidate for the third surfaces.
I’m not convinced the Three Musketeers dream has anything to do with the bobcat dream. The Brits were all saying very positive things about Three Musketeer bars, and there was no hint of anything sinister. The fact that the Musketeers were associated with “bars” (sticks) rather than swords made me think of my Sticks United dream:
https://narrowdesert.blogspot.com/2025/04/sticks-united-lazy-leonard-and-eldridge.html
The sticks in that dream represented books, so their reappearance as something to eat is potentially significant. I also explicitly compared them to the Tarot suit of Wands/Batons, which perhaps ties in with the recent posts about the Three and Four of Wands. (As I also noted in that post, the “Three” Musketeers actually number four.)
But who knows. We’ll see if the very different tack you’re taking bears any fruit
I’ve linked the Three of Swords and the Ace of Hearts before, in a post involving juvenile puns on the latter card’s German name, Hertz-Ass.
https://narrowdesert.blogspot.com/2024/07/ace-of-hearts.html
In my second card-under-the-pillow experiment, the dreams I posted were followed by one more thing I didn’t post: a woman’s voice saying, “Sorry to say this so directly, but” — and then, switching to Chinese — “my ass doesn’t hurt.”
William,
Maybe your soul's voice ( symbolic of the female intuition ) speaks
a message of an ass ( Donkey ) not hurting when it
( the Donkey ) fulfills its purpose 'usually associated with humility, peace, suffering, and service'.
Which service and sacrifice ( suffering ) are also a purpose
of the two fish tied together facing in opposite directions.
Which both, the donkey and the fish, are of course,
symbols of Jesus.
https://christianfaithguide.com/what-does-the-donkey-symbolize-in-the-bible/
Well, that part was in Chinese, so it didn't have the ambiguity of American English and could not have meant a donkey.
William,
Regarding your response to the donkey's ass,
I really think you're missing the point.
When we receive messages from the soul
( i.e. metaphysical/ paranormal messages )
always expect the unexpected.
And you did write that the women's voice
about the ass was in a dream, right?
The paranormal is not logical.
It speaks in a message all of its own which is
The Universal Language aka The Mystery School
aka the Bird Language aka the Green Language.
The messages from the soul are ALL in code.
No one else can tell us what our dreams or paranormal
experiences mean. But our soul knows the code.
Trying to make logical sense of messages from the soul
is futile and only results in frustration. And frustration
creates internal chaos.
The purpose of any message and especially messages
from the soul is to learn something, or spark ideas,
in order to manifest something, is it not?
I hate to sound like Glinda the Good Witch in the Wizard
of Oz, but and IMHO, when we look outside ourselves,
be it a book, or an author, or one particular ideology
or follow one particular source ( be it a person :
doctor, psychologist or expert ect) to answer or explain
to us what something means, especially our own dreams
or synchronicity experiences we give outside sources more
power than we give ourselves, and the knowledge
that we already have inside of us.
Many of us think it prudent
to get a 'second opinion' after being diagnosed
with a serious health issue, no?
I'm not saying that other people's knowledge and
experiences and opinions or institutions and books etc.
doesn't help us evolve.
I ABSOLUTELY believe that it does and I believe that
a vast spectrum of knowledge ( the good, the bad and
the ugly ) is imperative for all of our growth.
In Dorthy's yellow brick road, it was the Good
( The Scarecrow, the Lion, the Tin Man,
and Toto too ) and it was also the Bad ( the Wicked Witch
and flying monkeys, and the 'perception' of an all-powerful
being ON EARTH throwing lightning bolts our way
to keep us in line ( aka the Wizard/ Devil)
who were ALL imperative for Dorothy 's
destination( big picture ) which was to get back to OM.
In the Wizard of Oz story,
it was a window ( which is a portal ) that struck Dorthy
and started her transformative journey down the yellow
brick road. ( see link )
Being a portal, the wind-ow is symbolic of
'seeing' outside the box . Microsoft's Windows
transports us throughout the world of knowledge.
Maybe a wind-ow is a wind-Owl ( all seeing ).
It was the wind that took Dorothy to the yellow
brick road and it was the knowledge that Dorothy
always had on her feet ( the Ruby Slippers ) that brought
her back home to Aunt Em. Replace the vowel E
with an O and you have Om.
Om is our center.
Also Symbolically Pisces ( the intuitive fish ) rules the feet,
because a fish has none. Fish 'sacrifice' themselves when
they are brought on land.
Note that Dorothy's Ruby Shoes were referred
to as 'slippers'. Slippers are worn Inside.
The knowledge of the slippers was 'inside' of Dorothy.
Also the original ruby slippers in the book were
silver. Which makes sense because
the moon, water, intuition, and the female all serve
as conduits which takes us to 'the other side'.
In the metaphysical Everything is Symbolic, not literal.
IMHO
The Wizard of Oz (1939) - It's a Twister!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQWSh7Db-_E
Yeah, we will see where it goes. It would seem to make sense to link the Three Musketeers with the Trey/ Tray of Swords, and therefore the bobcat dream, but who knows.
The fact that a Musketeer is a fly reference, and that you had those links in which a fly was placed in a pig toy to move and animate it is also interesting, given the boar/ pig references both very recently, as well as continually in the past. One other reference I thought of was the "Samson Mystery Pig" in which a fly is caught within a pig, and animates it.
In this other train of thinking, I've associated two of the three musketeers with Brigham Young and James Strang. I thought of this last night after I ended my last comment with "In any case, we have potential guesses as to two of the three Musketeers. It will be interesting to see if a strong candidate for the third surfaces."
I realized that there were three individuals who positioned themselves as the rightful heirs to Joseph Smith: Brigham, Strang, and Sidney Rigdon.
So, Rigdon right now is my third candidate, in this alternative thinking.
A "Bar" can refer to something or someone that is a barrier. From Etymonline: "anything which obstructs, hinders, or impedes".
Joseph III seems like a pretty important omission from that list -- or is he d'Artagnan?
No, you don't understand.
Immediately after Joseph's and Hyrum's murders, 3 individuals stepped forward claiming to be the one authorized to replace Joseph. This is commonly called the succession crisis, and involved a fairly energetic campaign and claim to the throne by all three men (though Brigham's and Strang's strategies were far more effective than Rigdon's).
This is what I was referring to, and it seems like a reasonable line of inquiry, at least for me.
Joseph III was the second most successful successor after Brigham, but you're right that he didn't put in his claim immediately.
By the way, how did Strang get tied into this? Brigham I get, with his well-known Bowie knife thing.
Strang references and symbolism have come up quite a bit in the past, and in one version of the story Strang = Pharazon.
And Rigdon is an interesting piece of the puzzle that makes sense here given other thinking I've done in the past - enough for me to explore. My hypothesis is these three are important, both historically going back quite a long time and also going forward.
Three Musketeers as baddies reminded me of something I read in William James a decade or so ago. His nonstandard translation of the novel’s title made it easy to track down the reference. This is from Chapter 14 of Principles of Psychology:
“Few novels so overflow with joyous animal spirits as 'The Three Guardsmen' of Dumas. Yet it may awaken in the mind of a reader depressed with sea-sickness (as the writer can personally testify) a most dismal and woful consciousness of the cruelty and carnage of which heroes like Athos, Porthos, and Aramis make themselves guilty.”
