My last post, "In New York, about the only garbage they won't pick up is sunglasses," begins with a dream of mine that featured regular commenter Debbie. Debbie responded with an email giving her take on the meaning of her presence in the dream. I won't share the content of a personal email in any detail here, but she was reminded of a dream of her own which happened in March, which reminded her that my birthday is the Ides of March. Researching that led her to the 2011 movie The Ides of March, and she watched a review of it on YouTube, a link to which she included in her email. This is the thumbnail:
The review is from a rather obscure channel called PoliticalLens (210 subscribers), the logo of which is a pair of glasses with one red lens and one blue lens -- referencing red and blue as symbols of the two major political parties in the United States -- and the thumbnails for its movie reviews all show a movie poster with the colored glasses added.
The Ides of March is notable for the fact that the original movie poster already showed a face with one blue eye and one brown eye (brown being the closest non-albino humans get to having red eyes). The thumbnail puts the red lens over the blue eye and the blue lens over the brown one.
The reason for the eye color mismatch is that it's a composite face created by blue-eyed Ryan Gosling covering half of his face with a folded Time magazine with a photo of brown-eyed George Clooney on the cover. Gosling plays Stephen Myers, campaign manager for presidential candidate Mike Morris (Clooney). After uncovering a scandal, Myers turns against Morris. In terms of the symbolism implied by the title, Morris/Clooney is Caesar, and Myers/Gosling is Cassius.
Weirdly, the two characters have very similar surnames -- the same consonants in the same order -- and they have similar etymologies as well. Morris has two main etymologies can mean either "dark, swarthy, Moorish" or "of the marsh." Myers, in turn, can mean "physician," "mayor," or "marsh." The overlap is "marsh," and names with that meaning have been a major running theme here and previously on Bill's blogs.
(Ryan Gosling is a funny name etymologically, too. Ryan means "little king" and Gosling means "little god," the similarity to the English common noun gosling being coincidental.)
Debbie watched that video, and sent it to me, for reasons unrelated to glasses. However, the post that occasioned her email prominently features sunglasses and connects them to the seeric spectacles used by Joseph Smith. It's interesting that the two seer-stone-like objects that get mentioned from time to time on this blog are Bill's red "Rose Stone" and my "Blue-Green Crystal Ball." I also mentioned in the post that Joseph Smith's spectacles were later dubbed the Urim and Thummim -- the name of a pair of biblical objects that are usually depicted as two differently colored stones. Black and and white is the most common color scheme but certainly not the only one.

William,
Yes the dream I had titled School Dues was on
March 10, 2017.
4 years Before my 2021 Tulip dream which
after research of the symbolism
in the Tulip dream is how I found your Magician Table Blog.
In this post you wrote that your perspective
is that Stephen Myers ( played by Ryan Gosling,
who was the campaign manager for presidential candidate Morris)
was Cassius and Morris was Caesar.
However I beg to differ.
I think they both were Caesar AND Cassius.
The reason being is because in the movie
Meyers and Morris , metaphorically,
stabbed each other in the back for power.
Myers was a bit different however, as it appeared,
at least at first, that Myers trusted and believed in the system
but became disillusioned when he found how corrupt
and ruthless the "suits" can be in order to protect
the illusion. Much like the suits in the movie Matrix.
You even mentioned in your post William, the similarity
of the last names: Meyer and Morris. You wrote:
"Weirdly, the two characters have very similar surnames --
the same consonants in the same order --
and they have similar etymologies as well."
Like Republican and Democrats, red and blue,
Meyer and Morris are two wings of the same bird
( in this case the same spectacle) which the cover
of Time Magazine folded to only show the word ME
also suggests as well.
I personally believe that indeed Republican
and Democrats are two wings of the same bird and
they both fly ( work for and serve) the same king
and the king's agenda.
Regarding the Time cover and Meyers with
one blue eye and the other brown, reminds me
of a previous comment I made on another post
and shared a link to the 1977 song by Crystal Gale :
Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.
Excellent catch regarding the red and blue spectacles.
I did 'see' that one coming.

Red and Blue sunglasses also came up in the movie National Treasure, which I covered a few times. Those ones also had the benefit of an additional green filter/ lens in the mix. Back when the Chip Monks were a thing, that seemed like an interesting link (the colors worn by Alvin, Simon, and Theodore). Though I guess "blue-green" has been a specific color showing up in your writing.

That movie starred Nicolas Cage, which is a character I've gotten a lot of mileage from in that and other settings. So it was interesting when I saw the image of the Ides of March that you posted here, I remembered another Cage film: Face-Off (I have actually never seen it, though ,just remember the premise and people talking about it). That movie has Cage and John Travolta with the two halves of their faces making one face, similar to Ides of March. In the movie they actually literally switch faces (hence the word-game name).
Here are two versions of the movie poster image - the first I think is the original with their half-faces slightly separated, and then second is a more unsettling image with them joined as one face:

https://cinemorgue.fandom.com/wiki/Face/Off_(1997)
Travolta as a symbol has come up before in some specific ways, like in Saturday Night Fever, so it was interesting to see those two actors together in this image.
Sometime last year, a song called "Face Off" featuring The Rock, of all people, snuck on my playlist. I thought about it again today in light of the Face Off / Ides of March connection, and listened to it.
Midway through the song, one of the singers/ rappers calls themselves Muhammed Ali, and then raps out a boxing altercations, speaking of hitting his opponent with his fists but then concludes with using a dagger. Following this phrase, he then calls himself by Ali's original name, Cassius, the same name obviously as Caesar's chief assassin, who also used a dagger.
Random, but a specific link between "Face Off" and the Ides of March.
The Rock concludes the song with the statement "Comin' at you with extreme mana". That is a pretty funny and loaded word game given who The Rock has symbolized in my own guesses.
Zion and fire, strangely, is mentioned right upfront in the second line of the song:
"Spirit of a lion describes my soul
Give it up to Zion, then my fire grows"

William,
First of all, I want to correct something I wrote in my first
comment regarding the excellent catch
of finding the red and blue spectacles) I wrote this :
I did 'see' that coming.
I intended to write : I did NOT 'see' that coming.
Also another interesting odd find today
( which I wasn't expecting
and having connection ) is this :
Since the Ides of March is in the sync stream, I decided
to watch the video of the Russian Cover band Leonid & Friends
and their cover of the 1970 song Vehicle by the band
The Ides of March.
I'm sure I shared this Vehicle video before on your blog,
which was also the last time I've seen the video.
Lo and behold
( and I had forgotten this ) but lo and behold,
check out the guitar player Sergey Kashirin's
Nick at Nike kicks !!!! which can be seen
abt 0:12 marker/frame.
Note the green Nike swish.
Sergey's guitar is blue too.
Also , note the wording ( on the video) of Leonid & Friend's
cover ( uploaded March 1 2020)
which reads : a celebration of the 50th Anniversary
of the song ( abt marker/frame 0:11 ).
The original song was released in March 1970 ( see link )
Also I've shared many times
I believe that my personal frequency resonates with the numbers
4, FIVE, 10 (1) and 11.
When I sent you the private email, and included
my March 10 2017 School Dues dream
I first thought that March 10th wasn't really a hard
sync as it wasn't within the Law of Three rule
factoring in the Ides of March is the 15th.
However and lo and behold it is within my personal
Five frequency and after you see
the 'hidden' sync connection of Sergey's shoes,
and factoring in the 50th anniversary tribute
from LEOnid & Friends you'll understand
why I don't think this is a coincidence.
If it is a coincidence, it's a damn good one.
IMHO.
Also in a previous comment, I commented about
the 2012 paranormal movie Hereafter. Recall I mentioned
all the symbolism in that movie including
lilies, San Franciso, Eight Point Star
and at the very end of movie George ( Matt Damon's
character) is sitting at a table, waiting to meet
Marie Lelay ( last name meaning lily).
Sitting on the table are 2 BLUE vases. In each
vase is a pink Tulip which can be seen starting
abt marker/frame 2:00:47 in the movie ( link below )
Sync Fairies be busy, for real, for real.

Bill, that's really weird. After I'd published this post, with its mention of Cassius, I was thinking about Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) and how strange it was for someone to name their son after Cassius -- a man historically thought of as so evil that Dante puts him in the very deepest part of hell, where he is masticated by Satan himself. I had no idea there was a Face/Off connection.
In the "Vehicle" video Debbie links, the guitarist has a red shoe on his right foot and a blue-green one on his left foot -- just as Gosling/Clooney and Cage both have a red lens over the right eye and a blue one (blue and green in Cage's case) over the left. I agree that that's a pretty impressive sync!
William,
I highly doubt that Muhammad Ali's mother was aware
of William Shakespear and the evil of Cassius.
Many people back in the day knew of 'evil' in their own
back yards.
Recall I shared my family connection to the infamous
slave trader Lewis Robards.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cassius Clay ( being
light brown skin ) had European blood ( as many
of us do ). More likely than not from his name
sake ( father).
Copy and paste:
"When heavyweight boxing champion Cassius Clay
changed his name to Muhammad Ali after converting to Islam,
he stated that his birth name was “a slave name,” adding,
“I didn’t choose it and I don’t want it.”
His new name, he noted, is “a free name”
meaning “beloved of God.”
The name Ali inherited from his father
— Cassius Marcellus Clay — was in fact given to his dad
in honor of Cassius M. Clay, a fervent abolitionist who
graduated from Yale in 1832."
~~~~~~~~~
Coincidently, my paternal aunt was married to a Clay,
who was the brother of Muhammad Ali's father.
As I shared my paternal and maternal family were from
KY and settled in Louisville which is where the Clays
were from.
Just as a reminder, "Vehicle" by the Ides of March was the trademark song of the 100% real comedian Roy Jay.
Hours before reading Debbie's comment about the song, I checked my blog stats and noticed an unusual spike in activity on one of my old Roy Jay posts.
https://narrowdesert.blogspot.com/2025/06/snip-scramble.html
William,
Regarding Sergey's one blue and one red kicks, I couldn't
help but think and connect your dream about me
and your reference to 'footnote' with this recent sync
of Sergey's kicks.
Recall you wrote this :
"There's no Second Isaiah. That's a footnote.
The two doesn't mean 'second'; it means it's footnote 2.
The authors lived after Isaiah, and they quote him a lot,
so they have footnotes referring you back to him."
~~~~~~~
Also recall I mentioned in my comment that Pisces rule the feet.
The B-side of the 45 record Vehicle was a song titled:
Lead me Home Gently.
Also it was your dream about me that was the spark of why
I revisited The Ides of March after revisiting my
March 10 2017 dream and then finding the 2011 movie
with Clooney and Gosling.
as I explained in my private email to you.
Although Cassius Clay's mother may have not known
about Julius Caeser, who was aware of Shakespeare
was one of the founding band members of the Ides of March.
Also note ( link below ) that the band's genre of music
was described as jazz rock.
I thought that interesting given the recent jazz musician
Sun Ra syncs.
Copy and paste:
"The Ides of March is an American jazz rock band
that had a major North American and minor UK hit
with the song "Vehicle" in 1970
The Ides of March began in Berwyn, Illinois
(a near western suburb of Chicago),
on October 16, 1964, as a four-piece band
called "The Shon-Dels".
In 1966, after changing their name to The Ides of March
(a name suggested by bassist Bob Bergland
after reading Shakespeare's Julius Caesar
in high school), the band released their first
single on Parrot Records."

So those old paper 3d glasses from the 80s are the key to unlocking reality.
The guitar player with the red and blue shoes in that Ides of March cover band video is wearing a Penn State shirt. I few different ways you could go with that, which all seem relevant.
Penn State is often riffed to to State Pen, as in a prison. That has some obvious connections. However, you could go a different, or at least additional, way with it. You only get State Pen if you reverse the words (something Mr. Mxyzptlk might do). Leaving them as is, you get the homophone for State Pen, and this has two very direct links, with both of them being somewhat more positive.
As you note, Spectacles are associated with Seership, and 2 Nephi 3 which contains the Joseph's prophecy of the Seer is something I've cited quite a bit. In that prophecy, Joseph makes it clear that the Seer will write, but it will be a Spokesman who will 'declare' those words:
"I will give unto him that he shall write the writing of the fruit of they loins, unto the fruit of thy loins; and the spokesman of they loins shall declare it".
Pet Etymonline, one meaning of State is "declare, recite, set down in detail in words". So, Pen State would refer to someone who declares a pen, or what has been written by one - i.e., the Spokesman spoken of by Joseph.
And State can refer to the Pen itself that the Seer uses, since State, as a noun, can refer to authority or high office (getting back to The Rock in the Face Off song ending with his Extreme Mana phrase, which means "the highest authority").
Penn State and Pennsylvania are named after and founded by a man named William. And lastly, the Penn State mascot is the Nittany Lion, a type of Mountain Lion.
Sorry, meant homophone for Pen State in that second paragraph.
Anon, I actually looked into those old 3D glasses before. Apparently they normally had the red lens on the left, the opposite of the images here.
Bill, State Pen is another link to Roy Jay, who used to sing the Ides of March song while wearing a prison uniform.
Many years ago, I found a knockoff Penn State sweatshirt for sale in Taiwan with the first and last letter missing, so that it read "ENN STAT." I bought it and sent it to my sister, who was at that university at the time.
In guesses from awhile ago, I had linked the apostle Peter with the Spokesman (and as you know with Pharazon himself).
So, as I was thinking of this guitar player wearing these multi-colored shoes, I had a book come to my mind that I used to read to my kids when they were younger called "Pete the Cat". In the story, Pete starts out with White Shoes, which through various circumstances are changed first to Red, then to Blue, and then to Brown, before being washed in water to come out White again.
I found a video of the story and watched it to remember the sequence of events. A literal Blueberry Hilly is involved, as standing on one, per the illustration, is what changed Pete's shoes from Red to Blue.
But two things struck me - first, the imagery of Pete washing his shoes. He steps in a "bucket of water", and then washes off all of the strawberry juice, blueberry juice, and mud that had colored his shoes... like his shoes are being baptized. But in the image, Pete is not actually standing in the water - he is walking on top of the water, just like the story of Peter (after his shoes are washed, Pete even is illustrated yelling "Rock and Roll!", a nod to the Rolling Stone).
Secondly, at the end, we have an image of Pete walking with each of his 4 shoes a different color to summarize his story/ journey. As luck would have it, the red shoe is on his front right foot, and the blue shoe is on his back left.
Anyway, a Pete the Cat that has symbolic nods to Peter, if only because of the water walking, would sync up with a Nittany Lion, a type of cat as well.
Here is the video link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GSnmRZlgc4
Pete the Cat seems to be a guitarist, too! Here's a link to the book:
https://dn720402.ca.archive.org/0/items/generic-Pete-the-Cat--I-Love-My-White-Shoes/Pete_the_Cat-_I_Love_My_White_Shoes.pdf
That's a pretty bizarre storyline. "Oh, no! Pete accidentally climbed a big mountain of blueberries!"
