The Son of Righteousness, and the Talking Quartz of Kirtland

Last night I put on some music on my phone while washing dishes. Since my hands were wet, I just let the algorithm do its thing after the initial selection. The Metric song "Help I'm Alive," from their 2008 album Fantasies, came on:

Appropriately given the album title, this song triggered mental imagery of near-hallucinatory vividness. As I heard Joules Scott-Key's drumbeat and Emily Haines's opening lines

I tremble (tremble, tremble, tremble, tremble, tremble, tremble, tremble)
They're gonna eat me alive . . .

I saw proud Achaean warriors, horsehair crests waving, training for battle under their Blue Sun, and with the repeated line "Beating like a hammer, beating like a hammer" I could hear the stamp of marching feet, the clang of spear-butts brought down on the rock in unison, and the ringing kiai of stout Diomedes, lord of the war-cry. For a few moments I was totally immersed in this scene. When I emerged from the world of god-like Homer back into my own, I glanced at the phone screen and immediately paused the song and took a screenshot:

That's clear Blue Sun imagery (which does not appear earlier in the video, when I had my fantasy), with a stamp that reads "Son of Righteousness." That's not a biblical phrase but one from the Book of Mormon, and a problematic one. I've been deep in the book's Zenos material recently (see my massive March 19 post "Identifying the 1 Zenos texts"). My earlier (2024) post on the subject ended with this:

The one loose end that remains is the Book of Mormon's use of "Son of Righteousness" instead of "Sun of righteousness." Malachi has Sun, and I think I've made a pretty good case that Zenos used Sun as well (with the Sun's three-day entombment in a sepulchre causing the three days of darkness). Since the two words are homophones in English but entirely dissimilar in Hebrew, it's hard to see how the Sun-to-Son swap could have been made by anyone other than the English-speaking Joseph Smith. That, I believe, is now the only unsolved problem relating to Malachi material in the Book of Mormon.

That I saw "Son of Righteousness" just after a fantasy about the Sun is a further coincidence. If we want to press the syncs, we could imagine the prophet living among Greeks who knew him as Xenos, "the foreigner," and think of his entombed Blue Sun emerging from the sepulchre in a different color, like Gandalf the White.

Shortly after this, I went to bed. I dreamt that I was hiking in northeastern Ohio with my wife, my parents, my sister Crystal and her husband, and the Portuguese writer Laeth and his wife. Laeth had (in the dream) written a book, which Crystal was reading, about the very landscape through which we were hiking, which helped us to see it through re-enchanted eyes.

As we were hiking, we saw an old ruined building, and Laeth said he could feel spiritual energy coming from the stones of which it was constructed. As we got closer, though, we found to our disappointment that it was not made of stone but of concrete.

"Yes," said my father, "but where did the material for the cement come from?"

It hit me with the force of an epiphany: "Kirtland. From the gravel yards of Kirtland."

"The Talking Quartz of Kirtland," said my father, and he began talking about this remarkable stone. They gray flint beds of Kirtland harbored two types of quartz crystals: "mute quartz," which was pink, and "talking quartz," which was white and occurred in impressive diamond-like and feather-like formations. It was called "talking quartz" because of its great spiritual power, through which people felt it "spoke" to them. Later we visited one of these flint beds and observed the two types of quartz ourselves.

I commented that the rocks of Utah, despite their great beauty and the fact that they, too, were used in sacred architecture, had no spiritual link except to the dinosaurs -- I still had a red "dinosaur stone" I had picked up near Moab, Utah -- while the stones of Kirtland had human and divine resonances unlike anything to be found out west.

I do not really have a "dinosaur stone" in waking life, but I am scarcely the first to have experienced the palpable presence of saurian ghosts in the redrock deserts of southern Utah. I remember the frisson of recognition when I first read Teruhisa Tajima's postscript to his 1994 art book Dinopix:

In the fall of 1992, I visited the small town of Moab, Utah. . . . Early one morning I visited Arches National Park in Utah. Far off in the orange-colored morning mist, on the other side of the plain, I saw figures of nocturnal raptors hurrying home, exhaling their white breaths. I thought I had seen a Brachiosaurus cast the shadow of its long neck, so characteristic of the lightning dragon, on the gigantic rock surface, deeply reddening in the morning sun. When I saw with my own eyes the answers I was about to obtain, I struggled not to be hasty. . . . I was particularly eager to reproduce the gigantic creatures whose images had been imprinted on my mind while I was in Moab. I was persistently concerned with how to realize the visions I had of them there.

The idea of the Talking Quartz of Kirtland was so utterly convincing that when I awoke, I immediately got online to check whether there really were quartz deposits there. Apparently not, though there are some in nearby Geauga County, also part of the early Mormon stomping grounds. My initial search for quartz mines in ohio turned up a place called Fantasia Mining.

This is synchromystically significant because the title of Laeth's first novel is Phantasia. An earlier dream, recounted in "A turquoise stone; and suns, moons, and armies with banners," had already connected that novel with crystals. (The rest of that post title also syncs with my fantasy of the Achaean army under their distinctive Sun.)

Also perhaps relevant is a verbal dream I had a long time ago -- early 2000s, maybe -- in which a voice introduced a city called Quartslagen, "incorporating both white quartz and pink jasper elements," which was "built on a common love based on a common trust" and was "under the benign governance of the Anathoth, the Monothoth, the Benathoth, and the Torothoth."

Another link to the Talking Quartz may be the recent reference to Simon Peter in "Filling Peters' shoes." I have been reading and writing about "seer stones" recently, but the literal meaning of the name Simon Peter is "hearing stone."

William,
Fantasia Mining in Massillon Ohio is on the 40th parallel north
as is Salt Lake City and Moab(factor in the Law of the Three).
The EL's followed the 40 because it is a very powerful
ley line.
Interesting food for thought,
copy and paste: see link
"One of the observations that’s been made about our species
on this planet is that an astonishing number of developments
that have propelled humanity forward have happened
midway between the equator and the poles,
around the latitude we call the 40th parallel.

This song celebrates some of the great mysteries
about our planet that relate to this.
Why has so much change that has profoundly
affected our evolution and progress taken place
close to the 40th parallel?"
~~~~~~~~
Recall my many comments about Dayton Ohio being
the Silicon Valley of its day. Dayton is on the 40 ( actual 39
but factor in the Law of the Three )
Many inventions and inventors
(inventions that changed the course of history) called
Dayton home. Including John H. Patterson
whom my high school alma mater was named.
Regarding cement, stone and also a cross
they are all symbolic of weight,
i.e. our physical body being bounded to this gravity dimension
having to carry the weight of the ego.
Recall my previous comments about the weight
and especially the symbolic
connection of the 2014 movie Dawn of the Planet
of the Apes which takes place in San Fran on the 40th
parallel north.
One of the songs on the soundtrack of the 2014 Dawn of
the Planet of Apes is the 1968 song The Weight
by a group called The Band. Coincidently 1968 is
the year the first Planet of the Apes was released.
The Weight was also one of the songs on the soundtrack
of the 1969 movie, Easy Rider.
Recall in the ending of the first (1968 ) Planet of the Apes,
the protagonist astronaut George Taylor played by Charlton Heston,
finds that he had been on Earth all along ( see clip ).
The storyline of the Planet of the Apes is one of a future
world. New York of course is on the 40.
Rod Serling ( Twilight Zone ) was a co-writer
for the screenplay. Rod Serling who was stationed
at Wright Patt also lived in
Yellow Springs and attended and taught at Antioch.
Much of Serling's work include mentions of or the setting
was in Ohio including one of my fav episodes
A Stop at Willoughby(see link )
In the 1968 Planet of the Apes there are elements regarding crystals
and technocracy. Recall I've shared my perspective and prediction
about the future of The New Atlantis ( present day America )
and a Technocracy governance.
Copy and paste:
"Serling's script changed elements of Boulle's novel,
introducing Cold War themes; he devised a new twist
ending that revealed the planet to be a future Earth
where humans had destroyed themselves
through nuclear warfare."
~~~~~
As I've shared many times regarding crystals and hearing
and talking, I've always had ear problems ever since
I was very young and I still do.

As I'm sure you know that ear crystals can dislodge
causing vertigo which I've always suffered with.
I've recently come to believe that my ability of clairaudience may
have some connection with my physical ear crystals.

I've worn a citrine crystal pendant necklace for over 20 years.

Funny you should mention that movie, Debbie. Just minutes before reading your comment, I was brushing my teeth and, looking in the mirror, noticed the whites of my eyes and randomly thought of the fact that ape eyes have black "whites." I imagined Old Hickory saying, "Don't shoot till you see the blacks of their eyes," which of course would make sense only in the context of a human-vs.-ape war such as is depicted in the Planet of the Apes movies.

William,
There are no coincidences.

Wm Jas Tychonievich said...

The 40th parallel plus or minus three degrees covers a pretty wide swath of the US, from north of NYC to south of the Mason-Dixon Line, so I don't find things being located there to be all that noteworthy.

Ra1119bee said...

William,
I just noticed that the protagonist in the Twilight Zone
episode A Stop at Willoughby, last name is Williams.
Of course Twilight Zone episodes were in black and white.

There is also a scene in A Stop at Willoughby where
Williams is looking in a bathroom mirror at his office.
I'll see if I can find a clip of that scene.

Wm Jas Tychonievich said...

Willoughby, Ohio, is within walking distance of Kirtland. But you probably knew that.

Ra1119bee said...

William, I beg to differ.
You are not taking into account the law of three
which the EL's knew and followed.
The EL-ites were Alchemists, Mathematicians ,
Occultists ( they knew the Language of the Birds
and the Sacred Science Knowledge)
They were Aviators and Navigators, so
they knew coordinates and the grid of the earth.

3 before 40 and 3 after 40 all having the same
energy of the target 40.

Dayton Ohio is very noteworthy
so is Columbus Ohio
Serpent Mound is on the 40
Chicago and the Great Lakes are on
the 40
the Great Lakes being one of the largest
fresh water Aquifer in the World.
New York City ( New Amsterdam)
is on the 40, as is Washington DC
as is Philadelphia. ( they are not noteworthy??)
MIT is on the 40.
Lexington Ky in on the 40
St. Lous arch is on the 40
Area 51 is on the 40 as is
Norad in Colorado Springs
Yosemite is on the 40
Salt Lake City is on the 40
as is Carthage, Illinois
The Mississippi River runs through the 40
The Golden Gate Bridge is on the 40
Detroit is on the 40
The Rosicrucian's 'beachhead' was in Quaker County
PA on the 40
Copy and Paste:
Rosicrucian Pyramids of Bucks County
The headquarters of the Fraternitas Rosae Crucis,
complete with Rosicrucian pyramids,
all in the Pennsylvania woods.
I could go on and on and on.
From Sea to Shining Sea.

I bet the farm that my kinfolk Jan Janszoon
and his descendants
knew the power of the 40 which would explain why
Anthony Janszoon van Salee bought 200 acres in New
Amsterdam aka New York City, Long Island, Brooklyn
and Coney Island.
My kinfolk of Jan Janszoon's Netherland descendants
the Van Meters purchased land
in what is now known as Van Meter Iowa
which is on the 40.

The EL-ites, followed the 40 .

So yeah, I beg to differ with you on the subject
of the 40.

William,
No, I didn't know that. I knew of course that Willoughby was in Ohio.
Thanks for the info.

I did find the bathroom scene of Williams looking in the mirror.
It's about marker/frame 2:40 or so if you don't want to look at
the entire video.

Debbie, what I mean is that 40 plus or minus 3 covers nearly half of the contiguous US, with about 45% of the country's population living in that region, so of course lots of important sites are there. It's like being impressed that so many important people were born on even-numbered days of the month.

Ra1119bee said...

William,
I understand what you're saying, but because I look
from a metaphysical lens and don't believe in coincidences
or averages my mindset
is not so much what but why?

Regarding Salt Lake in particular, please tell me
how the great Temple was built with horse and cart in
the mid to late 1800 by a small group of people in the middle
of nowhere. I did read that the Temple was built
perhaps partially by volunteer labor, maybe
the  Polynesian Mormons
in Losepa? If so, begs the question
did they have the skills to build
those magnificent buildings in the middle 1800's?

The 'theory' in the Old World Exploration video
( link below ) really
makes this point a valid one, IMHO.

Many of these magnificent buildings
can be found along the 40, not so much south of
the Mason-Dixon.

And interestingly many of the buildings look very similar
in the architecture  you might find in the Ottoman Empire
for example especially the Dome shape.

And that can be said not only Salt Lake but
Washington DC as well. The fact that
DC was built on a swamp, begs the question Why.
Why build the future capital of America on shaky ground?

Maybe those magnificent dome buildings were already there
built by earlier inhabitants perhaps who knew
to build on the powerful Ley Line of the 40, including
the far west territory like Salt Lake.
Persians perhaps?

Interesting the Saltair in Utah
looks very similar to Ottoman architecture, IMHO.
Copy and Paste:
 "The first Saltair, completed in 1893, was jointly
owned by a corporation associated with
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
 and Salt Lake & Los Angeles Railway

Intended from the beginning as the Western counterpart
to Coney Island, Saltair was one of the
early amusement parks,
 and for a time was the most popular
family destination west of New York."
~~~~~~
Recall my comment about my kinfolk
Anthony Janszoon van Salee
owning land which is in modern day
Coney Island in Brooklyn.
Copy and paste:
"Ottoman architecture is renowned for its grand mosques,
 intricate tile work, and monumental structures
that reflect a blend of Islamic, Byzantine,
and Persian influences.
Historical Development.
Ottoman architecture evolved over several centuries,
 beginning in the late 13th century and reaching its peak
during the 16th and 17th centuries.
The style initially drew from
Seljuk Turkish and Byzantine architecture,
 gradually developing its unique characteristics."
William,
Very interesting. I'll try to check out the book.
Thanks for the link.
Regarding Inner Earth are you referring to the Hollow
Earth believed to be the Land of Agartha by the SS
and The Thue Society and said to be visited by
Admiral Byrd during Operation High Jump?
Supposedly the Himalayas, Antarctica ,and Mammoth Cave
have portals to the Holland Earth which I believe that.
Marshall is reading a book titled
Secrets of Antarctica:
The Untold History of the Ice Continent (The Esoteric Series)
And speaking of weird stuff, yesterday day ( after
I discovered my genealogy connection to Jan Janszoon )
Marshall was going through his bookcase and lo and behold
he found a book titled: The Republic of Pirates, by
Colin Woodard. He wasn't looking for it. Apparently
he had bought 2 books which we both were curious as
to why he would have done that. He never read the
book he said.
I tell you William, my life has been extremely odd.
Ra1119bee said...
Oh, I forgot.
Mammoth Cave is also on the 40.
Wm Jas Tychonievich said...
I've been down in Mammoth many times. Didn't run into any Deros or Hyperboreans, but I guess steer clear of tourists.
Agartha memes are the latest thing among terminally online right-wingers, but I was into Inner Earth before it was based.
Ra1119bee said...
William,
Yes me too. I've never been to Mammoth however,
but I've been studying Antarctica and Operation High Jump
 and Admiral Byrd  for over 20 years.
My maternal grandfather was born in Grayson KY
 about 100 miles from Mammoth and I think there
 is a connection but I am not at liberty to say why.
I also think my grandfather had as well as my father
(who was also born in KY) Moroccan blood.
The connection to Tibet and the Himalayas being a possible
portal to the Hollow Earth is very interesting at least to me
is because of my 1974 Past Life reading when the reader told
me that I had a past life in Tibet as a monk, which I absolutely
believed that when he told me as I have always been attracted
to that part of the world.
 After many many dreams and research throughout the years
and connecting the puzzle pieces/breadcrumbs
I've come to believe that as a Tibetan Monk my
soul could have acquired many
 of the siddhis powers especially where
it concerns levitation. Recall I shared my perspective about
my lifetime of levitation dreams  many times on your blog.
You've got to wonder how was Lhasa built?
William,
I found more very interesting information
as to 'why' the significance  of the 40th parallel north including
geo-political reasons, because and IMHO everything
is about politics in some way shape or form.
I think the EL's also followed the 40 because they
knew there would always be a water source, which of course
in addition to physical survival, water is a conduit to
'the other side in the esoteric knowledge.
Copy and paste:
"Tracing the Path Across Continents
The 40th Parallel North crosses the Atlantic Ocean,
passing north of the Azores before making landfall in Europe.
It traverses the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain),
the Mediterranean Sea, Sardinia, the Italian mainland,
the Strait of Otranto, Albania, the Aegean Sea, and Turkey,
passing north of Ankara.
From Turkey, the parallel sweeps eastward across
 the Caspian Sea and Central Asia, crossing the
 following landlocked nations:
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Tajikistan
Kyrgyzstan
It then enters China, traversing Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia,
 and Shanxi. After crossing the Yellow Sea and briefly touching
the Korean Peninsula, the line continues across the Sea of Japan
 to HonshÅ«, Japan.
The parallel crosses the Pacific Ocean before
 reaching North America, entering the United States near
the California/Nevada border. It runs through the continental
U.S., crossing states like Utah, Colorado, Indiana, and Ohio.
 It then cuts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey
 before exiting the continent."
~~~~~~

Check out the geologist Clarence King's work on the 40.
King, whose alma mater was Yale ( Yale is on the 40 )
and according to wiki, received federal funding
and was named U.S. Geologist of the
 Geological Exploration of the Fortieth Parallel,
commonly known as the Fortieth Parallel Survey, in 1867.

Clarence King's geological work along the 40th Parallel
 was a significant contribution to the understanding
of the geology of the American West."
~~~~~~~
Given that Anthony Janszoon van Salee mother
( my 11th great grandmother )was
  from Cartagena, Spain on the 40 ( actual 37 but
 factor in the law of the three) I'm not surprised that van Salee
followed the 40 into North America.
Ankara, Turkey is on the 40 which is probably why
the Saltire and its Ottoman style buildings
were built in Salt Lake City and Coney Island.
The EL's followed the 40. I'd bet the farm on that.
William,
Regarding the 'fudging' as far as the law of the three,
keep in mind William, the paranormal is not exact of anything.
Far Far Far from it.
One perfect example is my antique barn experience when
the voice in my right ear shouted: DON'T GO BACK THERE!
The man in the barn didn't hear it, ( and I was only about 5 or so
steps away from him ) but just because he didn't exactly hear
the voice, doesn't mean it wasn't said or that it didn't have energy.
Energy enough to make me change direction and my future,
and his future too as I knew he was going to do something
evil to me.
So yeah, the paranormal don't do logic :-))))
Ra1119bee said...
Oh, I forgot to add Springfield Ohio ( where the barn experience
occurred ) is on the 39/40.
