Yes, they do seem like 'Backslang' (as we called it).
And then there is the (supposedly) longest real word in English - Antidisestablishmentarianismway. It too seems like backslang.
Although kids prefer Upercalifragilisticexpialidociousway - the word was, allegedly, invented just to be long.
(Fairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogochllanway is not, of course, in English.)
I don't know, Bruce, some of those alleged "words" really make me underway.
