With that as the synchronistic context, I naturally clicked right away when I saw a link on Synlogos titled “Dogs and Cats in a Library.”
It’s a brief post by JMSmith at the Orthosphere, commenting on this quote:
We may be in the universe as dogs and cats are in our libraries, seeing the books and hearing the conversation, but having no inkling that there is any meaning in it all.
Who said that? That’s the kicker. It was the philosopher whose name I bear: William James.
I like the end of the Singing and Dancing Telegram sketch, where Mr. Johnson realizes: Wait, that’s my name. Those are my circumstances. That message was for me!
Of course there’s a certain self-refuting irony here. I understand what the syncs are saying, and what they’re saying is this: that I’m too stupid to understand what the syncs are saying. Just as Mr. Johnson recognizes the message that’s for him, but it turns out to be uselessly incomplete.

To be honest I don't know what you're saying here.
I have read your Lazy Lions posts but if I may
I would like to offer a different perspective.
I think that you have been the given the gift of a scribe
and as a George.
George being the one who tills the rich soil
so as to plant new seed which is what teachers do.
I've recently commented on the 1960's Perry Mason TV
Show and the 3 main characters and what I believe
archetypically their roles to be.
I think Perry is the 11 ( the visionary) , Paul Drake is the 22,
Perry's Detective . Paul is the gumshoe who physically
walks the street so as to gather imperative information
so that Perry can prove his case ( vision).
Della ( an EL ) is the 33 and serves as the scribe/secretary.
Her role is the most important one because without the scribe,
Paul and Perry's work would have all been for naught.
The written word is a power source as you well know..
Can't go to court without the written word on paper
which is why a stenographer is an integral
part of the court proceedings.
IMHO ,you are receiving the esoteric information
for a reason Wiliam.
My advice?
You do you, boo.:-)))
P.S. I linked a youtube of a quick synopsis of the 1960's
Perry Mason show. I love figuring stuff out which is probably
why I've always loved Perry Mason.
Check out the brief image of the Eight Point Star engraved on
the gate of the bar starting about frame/marker 1:15.
Huge details you Missed in Perry Mason

I think one last comment before Ol' Bill goes back to adhering to the sound of self-imposed silence...
This theme of being potentially an ignorant or clueless lion should kind of remind you of your old Jay Leno dream, right? In that dream, Jay Leno had done something so terrible as to be "unpersoned" in your words, but you were clueless as to what this might have been (but took a couple guesses nonetheless).
You could hear the thoughts of everyone who stared at you because you had 'missed the memo', and reported that those thoughts were ""He doesn't know! Everyone knows. Everyone knows!"
Our blue denim-clad friend's last name of Leno of course means Lion. A lazy one? Perhaps. Depends on what he's done to earn the description. In looking up Jay one more time to get a few more thoughts (Jay Bird, Blue Jay, and Jail/ Jay Bird have all been hits to riff off before, in addition to), I noted that Etymonline had Jay as a descriptor for a "dupe" and a descriptor of something or someone not to be liked. In evidence of that last point, the site specifically quotes Mark Twain thusly:
"A jay hasn't got any more principle than a Congressman. A jay will lie, a jay will steal, a jay will deceive, a jay will betray; and, four times out of five, a jay will go back on his solemnest promise. The sacredness of an obligation is a thing which you can't cram into no blue-jay's head." ["Mark Twain," "A Tramp Abroad"]
It was Interesting to read of a man with the pen-name of Mark (of the Red Planet Mars), and apparently a Twin (Twain), call out Jay Leno in such a manner.
The comment of going back on a sacred obligation reminded me of the two Blue Wizards, who ultimately failed and may have even betrayed those who originally sent them, being in league with our devil Saruman himself.
The first singing telegram Grover delivers is "Just a little note to say happy birthday, Uncle Jay. It is from your Aunt Frida." (Why is she calling her nephew "Uncle Jay"?)
Johnson replies, "I don't have an Aunt Frida, my name's not Uncle Jay, it's not my birthday, and that telegram is NOT for me."
