Some of my wording in that post was ambiguous and was misunderstood by Bill, so I had to clarify in the comments. It had to do with the two different ways of pronouncing the name Ralph, which I described as rhyming respectively with safe and — because I couldn’t think of any other rhyme — with Alph the sacred river from the Coleridge poem Kubla Khan.
Later in the day, that made me think of an old blog called Ralph the Sacred River which I used to check occasionally ages ago. I looked it up and found the latest post, “Ralphies 2024.” It has this to say about the best music of that year:
I got into listening to acoustic versions of rock hits; among them I give high marks to "1979" by Freedom Fry (Smashing Pumpkins cover) and "Wonderwall" by Ryan Adams (Oasis cover).
Is that the same “1979” cover that was somehow open on my phone when I woke up? I don’t know. I didn’t notice the artist’s name, and I can’t find it in my history because I didn’t actually play it. Still a sync either way.
I don’t know that song, and when I looked up the lyrics nothing struck me as noteworthy. Pumpkins are a sync theme, though, as are covers. Bill, Leo, and I were all born in 1979.

William,
OR...... and from another perspective, could
the following have any connections to this new
puzzle piece?

"In the pantheon of rock ‘n’ roll, few bands have struck
the chord of electrified rebellion quite like AC/DC.
Their ******1978 track ‘Riff Raff,’ off the ***** ‘Powerage’ album,
is a high-voltage anthem rhythmically pulsating
with a raw, untamed energy.
This song isn’t just an assault of sound —
it’s a cultural critique, a personal stance,
and a ride into the****psyches of those who
exist on the fringes.*****
AC/DC uses ‘Riff Raff’
to laugh in the face of norms,***** challenge the status quo,
and define what it means to *** truly own the label of an outsider.

Interestingly that once again another sync is presented
that may have the core meaning of being a renegade,
thinking alternatively,
and taking the road less traveled.
As stated, and IMHO sometimes we ( by we I mean
collectively as the receiver) receive information
that is not necessarily
for us, but perhaps for someone else.
However it could also be for both.
I personally never liked the band AC/DC
or their music, but isn't it interesting
that AC/DC ( as a power source )
does connect to my perspective
about humans existing in this DUALITY dimension
and my comments about twins, parallel universes
the number 22.

"One looks like a straight line, the other a wave;
together, they power your laptop…
Alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC)
are notable for inspiring the name of an iconic metal band,
but they also happen to sit right at the center
of the modern world as we know it.
AC and DC are different types of voltage
or current used for the conduction and transmission
of electrical energy. Quick —
think of five things you do or touch in a day
that do not involve electricity in any way,
were not produced using electricity,
and are not related to your own body’s internal
uses of electricity…
Nice try, but no way, you can’t do it.
(Or send us a list if you think you can; we’ll check it.)
Electrical current is the flow of charged particles,
or specifically in the case of AC and DC, the flow of electrons."

Again, as I've shared, sometimes we are given syncs
and paranormal information that is not necessarily for us.
I think this one may be for me perhaps?
Lyrics: ( asterisks mine )
See it on the television, every day
Hear it on the radio
It ain't humid but it sure gets hot
Down in Mexico
A barmaid's tryin' to tell me (Ha-ha)
****"Beginning of the end"****
Sayin' it'll bend me
Too late, my friend
Riff raff
Oh, it's good for a laugh (Ha ha ha)
Riff raff
Go on and laugh yourself in half
Smile awhile
Now, I'm the kinda guy that keep his big mouth shut
It don't bother me
Somebody kickin' me when I'm up
Leave me in misery
I've never shot nobody
Don't even carry a gun
I ain't done nothin' wrong
I'm just having fun
Riff raff
Oh, it's good for a laugh
Riff raff
Go on and laugh yourself in half
Do it again

Beginning of the End in the lyrics
is interesting given my perspective
about the shifting of ages and the ouroboros.
Every ending is a new beginning.
P. S. Although the song Riff Raff was released in 1978
and not 1979, do factor in the law of the three.

Just an aside - if you haven't listened to 1979 it is worth it. There is a cover of it by Bad Rabbits that trancends the orginal, which I wouldn't have thought possibe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE4bGwVJBZ8 BTW - I like reading your stories you seem to have a kind of deep synchronicity between your dream world and the universe, in a Jungian sort of way. Seems like a sign you are on the right path.
One of few Smashing Pumpkins songs I do know, though depending on mood I'm more fond of "Bullet with Butterfly Wings". They're both from an album called Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Setting aside the obvious emotional theme, I shouldn't need to remind you what mellon means in Sindarin.

I had the same reaction to the lyrics - nothing stood out to me, either.
But definitely the name of the band - Smashing Pumpkins - would tie to the Pumpkin-Lilies symbolism, particularly since there is mention of smashing or destroying them inherent in the name.
This could be a tie to Riff Raff the Rapper, as well, which would make sense since that dream followed this one. Rapper can be a play on words at multiple levels. To "rap" something can mean to "strike, smite, knock". If you look up Smash, you can get the same definition "strike violently; act with a crushing force; a hard blow". So, Riff Raff the Rapper, in that interpretation, links to Smashing Pumpkins.
Riff Raff also likely ties to the "Cover" aspect of this link. I woke up earlier in the morning with an alternative play on words for Rapper: Wrapper. So, Riff Raff the Wrapper. To "Wrap" something can mean to cover it. So, a Wrapper in this sense would be one who Covered a song, for example, getting to the Book of the Lamb angle.
With all of this, despite the confusion on who Raff vs. Rafe/ Ralph, I think the emphasis on the name in the dream, and Riff's concern regarding infringement upon it, still could point to that Raff link of "Seize" as potentially meaningful. So hard to tell, though.... you could just as easily interpret some of these symbols as being a positive for Riff Raff instead, honestly, if one wanted to look that way. I'm just following this train of thought due to the Book of the Lamb Cover thread which seems to be in play, and there is room to run on it.
The idea of Smashing Pumpkins and this being representative of the Numenoreans' assault on Eressea and the destruction of the lilies is very well etymologically linked to Pengolodh's account in Daymon's book. In that account of the assault, it said that the Men-Monsters in the assault "tread" on the lilies using feet made of iron:
"... and for feet these men-beasts wore helmets of iron, turning there the seer Rumil's saying, that when helmets of iron tread over the lilies, shall one half be upturned, and the second half down-trodden, thrown up high."
One meaning of tread specifically mentioned/ highlighted is "to crush with the feet". If you then look up Crush, the first definition you get in Etymonline is "Smash". Thus, if we hold the Pumpkins = Lilies analogy constant, and replace Tread with Smash as being the same word/ meaning, we can rightfully say the Numenoreans were indeed involved in Smashing Pumpkins.
SCOTI,
I don't know if your comment was addressed to me or not,
but if so, Thank You.
