There are lots of people called Michael Hayes, none of which is of any obvious relevance, and I have no real idea of what an "ether genius" might be. Diethyl ether? Luminiferous ether? Quintessence? The Thirty Aethyrs? The Book of Ether?
Haze "opaqueness of atmosphere" contrasts with aether "pure, bright upper air."
The name Hayes appeared in a dream I had when I was 11 or 12 years old, in which I heard this rhyme:
I have shorn many sheep in my lifetimeI have shorn many sheep in my daysI have shorn many sheep that are pretty to meBut none is as pretty as Hayes
All in all, the meaning of this dream is quite hazy. It would take an ether genius to clear it up.

The "Genius" word would seem to link to what you just wrote in your recent post about Joseph and "genesis". The root of both Genius and Genesis is the same, and means "to beget, give birth to", and can ultimately refer to creation itself.
This is a strong tie to Michael, who Mormons already associate with creation from the Temple, but who in my theory is responsible for the creation of not only our world, but likely this entire physical universe we currently inhabit.
This would take us to Ether, which would also seem to be a play on words with the prophet Ether, who I have suggested is the same Being a Michael. Ether means something around the upper regions of space and the universe outside of our immediate world, but just as importantly means "to burn, shine", with the burning reference pretty important given that Abinadi, in my story, was the translated or life-prolonged Ether.
But the word game with Ether is interesting because Ether used to be thought of as a fifth element of sorts, or the fabric or substance of which space, the planets, and stars were comprised, which takes us to Creation and Genesis. In addition, Luminiferous Ether was considered the universal medium by which light could travel. This connects with some of Joseph Smith's strange teachings.
In Joseph Smith's cosmology, the Sun borrows its light from Kolob through a medium. Same thing with our Earth. You can look those medium names up - I think you've touched on them before in your blog, if I remember right, like "Kli-flos-is-es". You and I both had touched on the Facsimile symbol with those monkeys holding stones on their heads from which that medium comes from.
Hayes means "enclosure, hedge" and things like that. I had used that earlier with Mercury, another symbol of Swift Messenger, since he was the god of boundaries and enclosures, maintaining them but also allowing for passage across them. I think of that dream I recently had of my Chicken-Pigs who were hungry/ thirsty in that enclosed pen, and who I realized I needed go in with them into that pen in order to help.
Just random, quick thoughts on those names. Yesterday morning I had a word play phrase for Swift Messenger again. There was a conversation I was listening in on in which someone mentioned a "fast profit", and I took the phrase as I spelled it there, meaning someone was going to make a profit quickly. It was only later I realized the word game of Profit and Prophet (which has come up before), and understood the phrase as a Fast Prophet, or Swift Messenger.
My sister's currently on holiday in New Zealand. This afternoon, Mum showed me a few photos Sis had sent through; for whatever reason, one pic's primary subject was one of these beer cans.

A few hours later, I checked AC's page for his then-latest. One of the first tweets included mentions an FBI leak investigation that's being called "ARCTIC HAZE".

Reading that Fast Prophet pun triggered a vivid mental image: a movie poster for a film called Get Rich Quick! -- with Richard Quick being the name of the main character. (Does such a movie exit? It would be somewhat surprising if it didn't.) The poster showed Rich running through the air like Walter Mitty.
Ether, Michelangelo, and haze (smoke and fog) are juxtaposed in Prufrock.

Re pale ale, I was just thinking in connection with recent mantra syncs that the closest thing to a Mormon mantra would be Pay Lay Ale.
I just realized I didn't make it clear that the "Fast Profit" phrase wasn't from a real/ awake conversation (as in, I wasn't eavesdropping... at least in a normal waking dialogue) As I was waking up, and still sort of in that in between state, it was like I was listening in on a conversation between two Beings, with one mentioning the Fast Profit/ Prophet.
The notion of "making" a fast prophet works with Swift Messenger. I've guessed about this transfiguration or baptism of the Holy Ghost. One meaning of the word make is "transform" with the overall sense that something or someone is changed or is newly fashioned in a certain way.
