When I got home last night, my wife asked me a lot of questions about the Ku Klux Klan. She had just watched a movie,
A Time to Kill (1996), in which the Klan played a role in the plot, an she wanted to know more about them. I provided a brief history. I'd never seen the movie and knew nothing about it, but when she told me it had two White men brutally rape a little Black girl and that it was "inspired by a true story," I correctly predicted -- it's like shooting fish in a barrel -- that the attackers and victim had been race-swapped and that the movie was written and directed by members of a certain tiny ethnic minority.
(In fairness, the race-swapping was done by John Grisham, not by the people who made the movie.)
After we'd finished our little conversation about the Klan and this movie featuring them, I sat down to read David McGowan's
Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon (see "
Afternoon of the Magicians"). This is the very first sentence I read:

A few minutes after I read this I watched a scene from some Medea movie that happened to be playing on the TV (I didn't put it on, never watch them, but they seem pretty funny sometimes) wherein she accidentally walks into a klan meeting.

I was working on my family tree through Ancestry.
I've been working on it for several years now and I
can't believe how many 'unknowns' are in my family
tree and that's true for many people of color
in America.
In my tree alone there are many people
who were born W (White) ( according
to the US census, and died B ( Black)
( according to a death certificate )
including my maternal grandmother Sarah who was
not Black or Colored or Mulatto. She was White.
However on my mother's birth certificate Sarah's
race was listed as Black because miscegenation
was against the law.
Anytime I find an 'unknown' in my genealogy research
as far as the parentage of a particular person
I've learned it is a
white flag meaning a White person
was in the mix in some way shape or form including
changing ( forging ) so called" legal documents'' be it:
census forms or birth certificates, or marriage certificates
or death certificates.
In Sarah's lineage I can trace her family back
to the 15OO, in Germany and Wales which is pretty cool.
I think that's why I'm a very alternative thinker William
and why I've been given a gift of insight/premonition.

Perhaps the KKK were a fake entity however
the hangings were real so what

I personally 'know' about the hangings because
my grandfather William and grandmother Sarah
escaped to Dayton Ohio ( this was around 1928 or so)
because William was going to be hung one night
as word got around that Sarah ( dressed in men's clothing
as a hunter) was sneaking out to the fields during
hunting season to see William who loved to hunt
and provide food for his family.
William and Sarah first met at
the 'colored school' where Sarah played and taught
piano to the students. William worked as

Interestingly in 1924 One Drop ( Hypodescent)
had been enacted. Before 1924 William's family

The original Klan probably included some admixture of sincere people concerned about the future of the South, but it was at the very least heavily infiltrated by spooks. How could it not have been? I would assume the rube-to-fed ratio in the early days was roughly comparable to that at the 1/6 riot.

Sincere people or not everything in this duality
dimension has always revolved around sex, power
and money. It was never about race.
Black people were primarily used as a cheap labor
source because they were visibly identifiable.
That's why Partus Sequitur Ventrem
and One Drop were enacted

a Visible cheap labor source.
Of course the European Indentured Servants

Debbie, this would have been a lot longer ago than Atlantis was supposed to be, but have you heard about the West Virginia salt industry? (https://www.wowktv.com/news/west-virginia/what-happened-to-west-virginias-salt-industry/). It is believed the salt comes from an ocean from many millions of years ago that was in that area. Apparently it was supposed to be some of the best tasting salt people had tried.
