Blubbery Hill

"Blueberry Hill" by Fats Domino (see "Blueberry Hill and the Golden Age") made me think of the word blubbery, which is phonetically similar to blueberry and semantically similar to fats. I'm not the first to have made the connection. Searching for "blubbery hill" led me to this B. Kliban cartoon:

I guess that's Fats Eskimo?

In Kliban's cartoon, the whale is the hill. For me, though, blubbery hill is a link back to my posts about whales on hills.

In March 2022 I published "I posted my many-eyed whale dream on the 430th anniversary of Dee and Kelley's many-eyed whale vision." Central to that vision is the image of a whale on a hill:

The Prophet said, Stand still, but they trembled. The waters sank, and fell suddenly away, so that the Whale lay upon the Hill, roaring like a Cave of Lions, and the Prophet took them by the hands, and led them to the Whales mouth, saying, Go in . . . .

According to the interpretation given by the angels Gabriel and Nalvage:

The Hill is the World, The waters are the bosome of God, . . . The Whale is the spirit of God . . . .

Based on that interpretive key, when the waters fall away, leaving the whale on the hill, it represents the Spirit of God leaving the bosom of God and entering the world. The "blubbery hill," as comical and unpleasant as the phrase sounds, represents a world full of the Spirit of God. Oil as a symbol of the Holy Ghost actually has a pretty respectable pedigree in Christendom.

On April 1, 2022, I posted "The firehose of syncs relating to Dee's whale continues," which brought in another blubbery mammal on a hill: the Gorillaz line "Up on Melancholy Hill / Sits a manatee." Later the same day, I published "Call me Ishmael," in which I lay out a set of links establishing the equation "Enoch = Behemoth = killer whale on a hill." On April 14, I posted "The Star Whale, Brian Wilson, and God," in which I noted that the name Brian is etymologically connected to "hill." (In fact, it comes from the same Celtic root as Barrie.) That post mentions Whale Music, which I didn't get around to reading until last year. In that novel, the Brian Wilson character is grossly fat and refers to himself as "the Whale Man." A few weeks later, in "It's April 27" -- that date being the anniversary of Dee and Kelley's vision -- I noted that Enoch is further connected with the number 430 because, for some unknown reason, in Joseph Smith's revision of the Genesis 5 genealogies, he kept all the number the same except that he made Enoch live for 430 years rather than the traditional 365.

Did I miss anything? I think that about sums it up. Blubbery animals -- whales, and in one case a manatee -- on hills have been a theme around here for a while.

That cartoon and "blubbery hill" reminded me of this unfortunate skirmish scene from the series, "Vikings." I know you don't like video clips, but if you watch this short one to the end, you'll see why.

"I guess that's Fats Eskimo?"

A very Inuitive supposition.

Glad you agree, NLR. I mean could Yupik a better name for him?

Frank, he's king of the (blubbery) hill. But my question is how a Viking manages to quote Julian of Norwich, who lived some three centuries after the end of the Viking era.

Hollywood. It has magical powers.

William,

Maybe that person on top of the whale is symbolic
of Greenland ( Thule) and the Canadian Inuit,
and in Russia the Tungusic and Paleosiberian peoples.
If you counted the Huskies sitting at the whale's side,
you'll note they total Eight, so another octagon connection.

I just thought it very odd that Putin would
perform the song Blueberry Hill at a 2010 Fund Raiser
as it begs the question, at least to me:
Why THAT particular song?

Also given that Greenland and Russia are
on the front burner on the world stage
right now, I don't think it's a coincidence.

Again in the Putin video(repost below ) take note of
the blue green floor that Putin is performing on.
The whale Hvaldimir also has connections
to Putin.

Also coincidently the movie Greenland 2 is to be released this year.
In the clip below note at the marker/frame 1:08 which is a scene
of a  birthday celebration. In your first blueberry comment
you mentioned a birthday cake.

On your Blueberry post recall I shared my 2016 dream I titled :
Blackberries, Barry and Barack.
In that dream the chief at the White House made a Blackberry pie
and only made the pie for a small group of people.

 Also I did note that it states on Fats Domino wiki page
that he was born on Feb 26 which made him a  Pisces.
Not that I think that has significance in this case,
but due to the belief that Pisces have strong
psychic abilities I thought I'd mention it.

Also I found this on the Blueberry Hill wiki page:
Copy and paste: asterisks mine
Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin made a cover performance
 of the song on December 10, 2010 before an audience of international film
 and television celebrities, in support of a charity for ill children.
Videos of his performance quickly went viral worldwide.

On The Rolling Stones concert film Charlie Is My Darling,
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards perform the song
impromptu during the tour of Ireland in 1965.

In the children's novel I Survived Hurricane Katrina, 2005, the song
 (more specifically the Fats Domino version)
 is the favorite song of character *****Barry**** Tucker, and becomes
 a major plot point during the story's climax.

In the movie 12 Monkeys, the character played by Bruce Willis
 belongs to a time in the future in which a deadly virus
has destroyed most of mankind and forced survivors
into underground bunkers.

He travels back in time to 1996 on a mission
to find how the virus was released, and cries tears of joy
when he hears Blueberry Hill
 playing on the radio, ****thinking of how simple
and beautiful life used to be***.
~~~~~
Recall I also commented about the movie the 12 Monkeys many
times before.  I commented about the MOON-Keys ( Monkey )
and its significance. In the video clip below
note the radio dial reads 1037 when the song
Blueberry Hill comes on the radio. 1037 totals 11.
In the Blueberry Hill lyrics there is
mentioned of the moon.
Here is the first stanza from the song.
"I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill
On Blueberry Hill, when I found you
****The moon stood still**** on Blueberry Hill
And lingered until my dreams came true"
Frank, I think I've actually seen that "Vikings" clip before. Perhaps you posted it in a comment on one of my past whale posts?
I wonder if the ending -- where he crows about being "king of Greenland" as his supporters abandon him -- might turn out to be prophetic in the near future. (I don't understand why they all leave, by the way. If they've all turned against the king, why not kill him and take the whale? Maybe it would make sense with more context.)
William,
I just noticed the link I provided for the clip from the movie
Blubbery Hill has another pretty direct link to Enoch when looking at the other meaning of Blubber/ Blubbery. In addition to fat, the original meaning had to do with water and foaming waves, per Etymonline, but which also gives us the figurative meaning of "to weep, cry".
In Moses 7, we get some pieces of Enoch's story, which involve God taking up Enoch to a mount, and later him and Zion. It is there Enoch sees God weep over the fate of Men, which Enoch is alarmed by. God continues to show Enoch what is he is crying about, and then Enoch also begins weeping, to such an extent that "all eternity shook".
All this weeping seemed to take place within Zion, also called Mount Zion (Hill also means "rising land" from the Old English Holm, which is what happened to Zion), and we have a very Blubbery Hill.
And interestingly, this blubbering involves the flood, which has been tied to the Numenorean story and the Great Wave which buried that land, giving us another tie to Blubber as defined by a foaming wave. As Tolkien described those last moments of Numenor, it's mountain was buried by blubber:
"And last of all the mounting wave, green and cold and plumed with foam, climbing over the land, took to its bosom Tar-Míriel the Queen, fairer than silver or ivory or pearls. Too late she strove to ascend the steep ways of the Meneltarma to the holy place; for the waters overtook her, and her cry was lost in the roaring of the wind."
Good points, Bill. The whale in Dee's vision is also crying, "roaring like a cave of lions." That specific sound is associated with Enoch, whose mighty words caused "the roar of the lions" to be "heard in the wilderness" (Moses 7:13).
Tying both Zion and Numenor to the Blubbery Hill name game then links very specifically to your earlier reference to the "Golden Age", and even to the Blue Sun. That would be in the form of Pharazon, whose name as mentioned before means the Golden. His story, at least what we know about it which isn't much, is central to the blubbering (in both tears and waves), and the 2nd age of this world, which was shaped by that cataclysm, can for that reason be thought of as the Golden Age.
The color Blue has also been associated with Pharazon, for example with the Blue Jay (e.g., Jay Leno and his blue denim clothes). As noted before, Pharazon was said to dress up to appear as the Sun, giving us a Blue Sun in the Golden Age.
