Joseph the Tirielist

I dreamt that as I was getting ready to leave the preschool after my morning classes, I met another White American there, who introduced himself as Joseph and said he was from one of the Midwestern states. (He said a particular state, but I don't remember which.) He was printing out some vocabulary flash cards and asked, "So do you use cards?" and then several follow-up questions. He said he was applying for a job and would do a teaching demo on Monday. I said I'd be there on Monday and would probably see him.

As I was leaving, Joseph told me where I could find him online and said, "On my socials, you'll find lots of Golf Luther content -- you know, they're golf jokes with Luther."

"You mean Martin Luther?"

"Yeah, I think so. Luther was apparently this guy who like hated logic."

"The devil's bride, Reason, that pretty whore."

A look of blank incomprehension. I gathered that he knew absolutely nothing about the historical Luther. Luther was for him a stock character representing illogic, and he made Luther jokes the way one used to make Polack jokes.

"So I guess you're a Catholic?" I said.

"Yeah. How did you know?"

"It's really only Catholics that see Luther that way. Protestants admire him, since he started their Reformation. So the majority of American Christians respect Luther."

"No, wait, I'm not a Catholic."

"You aren't?"

"No. I'm a tirielist." He pronounced it like materialist minus the first syllable, but I imagined it being spelled the way I have written it.

"You know," he continued, proceeding to sing a line from the Madonna song, "cause we are living in a tiriel world."

"You mean a materialist? Someone who rejects the supernatural?"

"Yeah, a tirielist."

As I walked home (it was night now), I passed a parking lot, where a cop was having two suspected drunk drivers walk in a straight line, at which they were both failing miserably. The drunks were making excuses. "I think we were probably drinking tea," one said. "Yeah," agreed the other, "I'm pretty sure it was tea."

The cop was unimpressed, and one of the drunks lost his temper and shouted at him, "You're a black Barbary pirate!" (All three men were White.)

I thought this was an incredible coincidence and that I would have to tell Debbie about it. (In waking life, Debbie, who is part Black, had emailed me the day before the dream about the discovery that she is the 11th-great-granddaughter of the Dutch Barbary pirate Jans Janszoon.)

When I was nearly home, I passed a tent that had been set up on the side of the road, and a voice from inside said, "So, William, when are you transferring out of Minneapolis?" I recognized the voice of Mark, who was a close friend during my teen years in Ohio. He had (in the dream) visited me in Taiwan some weeks before, and I was surprised to find him still in Taiwan. Had he been camping out outside my house all that time, and I had been ignoring him?

I had something urgent to do in my house, so I said, "Just a minute, Mark," and went into the house first. When I came back out, Mark was no longer in the tent but was piloting a low-flying Cessna 172, from which he was speaking with a megaphone. He had apparently somehow overheard my conversation with Joseph and was ridiculing him.

"So after having put Luther in his place, he takes on God himself!" he said. And then, in what I took to be a parody of low-IQ atheist talking points, he shouted histrionically, "Where's abortion in the Bible? Where is it?" (In waking life, Mark is himself an atheist.)

As I was waking, I thought in the hypnopompic state of these lines from Yeats: "Now his wars with God begin / At stroke of midnight, God will win."

In an earlier dream segment, my parents had been visiting Taiwan, and I took them to the top of the Taipei 101 skyscraper. The building was rocking like a boat, but I assured them that it was supposed to that, and that it was an anti-earthquake measure. While there, we ran into one of my students, called Peter -- the one whose shoe cubby appeared in "Leo, Egbert, Peter" -- who gave me a comically large pair of black hiking boots and said, "Now you have to put these on!"

I was trying to convince my parents to visit a Chinese temple, which they were at first unwilling to do. I explained that it would not be a religious visit, that we would just be there to take in the art and architecture as a cultural experience -- "just like you would visit a cathedral if you were in Europe," I said. They finally agreed, but I then realized I had no idea where to take them. I had been thinking of the Queen of Heaven Temple in Lukang, but we were in Taipei, and I didn't know any temples in Taipei.

Later, my father was pouring everyone glasses of champagne. He said to me and my wife, "I'm going to mix mine with weaker alcohol, but you'd probably like yours mixed with stronger alcohol, am I right?" I understood that this was his letter-of-the-law way of circumventing the Mormon prohibition on "strong drink." (What's weaker than champagne? Beer? And who mixes anything with champagne?) This is totally unlike my father in waking life, who follows the Word of Wisdom very strictly -- eating meat sparingly, abstaining from caffeinated sodas, etc. -- but it fits with the way he was portrayed in my dream "Pterodactyls, the foil game, and a fake séance," where he was trying to tell me that smoking pot was consistent with his religion.

Upon waking, I thought Tiriel sounded very Tolkienian and might be the name of some obscure female character. It turns out it's not a name but is good Sindarin, meaning, depending on the diacritics used, either "gazing" or "having gazed."

I wondered if Joseph, who is neither Catholic nor Protestant but invents a new -ism of his own, might represent Joseph Smith. He appeared as something of a buffoon in the dream, but Smith was famously uneducated and may have appeared that way to some of his contemporaries. It's also probably not a coincidence that my two brothers are named Luther and Joseph, and that while Luther is a staunch CJCLDSian, Joseph is in fact a materialist.

Update: The day after publishing this, I saw this on Barnhardt:

 William,
Part 1 of 2
I was going to respond to you on our recent email conversation,
however since you've included me in this post, I'll just write it here
because ' coincidently' what I was going to write
connects with your dream.

First and foremost and although I wrote 'coincidently',
 (and as I 've shared so very many times )
I personally don't believe in coincidences.

In your response to my recent email you wrote
of the tulips and Oswald Wirth
and the fact that you were thinking of revisiting
Wirth's Tarot Deck just a couple of hours before
you read my email which my email included
 connecting  my Oct 3, 2021 Tulip dream with the 'rise'
of the Red Tulips on the world stage
and in particularly the missile fragments recently
found near the Temple Mount which is why after a month
of no communications from me,
is the only reason why I contacted you again because
as I've shared so many times, I believe that the Third Temple
is the reason why what's unfolding on the world stage.

March 20th was the Persian New Year .
I believe that the Red Tulips are Shaking the House.

As I've shared I've been predicting what is now
unfolding on the world stage
a very long time ago, especially after my 2008 Suzy dream,
my 2018 Oscar Dream my Feb 2015 Where's My Horn
dream, and my 2021 Tulip dream and many
many many more paranormal experiences during my lifetime,
which I've only shared a very tiny bit of those experiences with you .

Those dreams I've mention above however are extremely
significant puzzle pieces ( aka breadcrumbs)
and they are connecting rapidly on the world stage now.

 IMHO, your response to my recent email especially
regarding Wirth proves my point
which is  : the Sacred Science Knowledge exists.
Telepathy exists. Clairvoyance exists.
Clairaudience exists.
Dreams including premonition dreams
( which premonition dreams are rare ) exist
and they are VERY powerful as they come from a powerful source
which I believe is God.

  Do you really think it was a coincidence
that you were thinking of Wirth 2 hours or so
before you read my email?

And no, I didn't 'conjure up' a telepathic transmission with you.:-))

I truly believe that if our ( humans collectively ) soul wants
us to know something our soul will continue to cross our paths
using the Sacred Science knowledge
until we see whatever that 'something ' is
because if it comes from the soul it's a powerful message
that needs to get through.
I truly believe that.

And last but not least and why I'm responding to your post
after my long absence is because  what you've written here:

"The cop was unimpressed, and one of the drunks lost his temper
and shouted at him, "You're a black Barbary pirate!" (All three men were White.)

I thought this was an incredible coincidence and that I would
have to tell Debbie about it. (In waking life, Debbie, who is part Black,
 had emailed me the day before the dream about the discovery
 that she is the 11th-great-granddaughter of the
Dutch Barbary pirate Jans Janszoon."
~~~~~~~~~~~
WOW!!
Here's the crazy part and what I was going to respond to you about
BEFORE I read your new post regarding
the Jan Janszoon connection.
The Jan Janszoon connection came down through my father's side!!
Not my maternal grandmother Sarah who was White.
As I've shared many times my parental side were the Black Robards.
The White Robards were Scottish Planters. Recall I shared with you
my belief that Lewis Robards the iconic Lexington KY slave trader
 who LOVED Mulatto girls and called them 'his Fancy girls'. I suspect
that my  great grandfather Dave Robards might have been the offspring of
either Lewis or a White Robards and one of the Fancy girls because
I can NOT find information whatsoever on my great grandfather Dave's
parents. Nothing at all, and in my genealogy work I've discovered
that  "Unknown" usually means a White parentage  that was never
recorded because the other parent was Black.
William,
Part 2
My father's lineage also included the Dutch.
My father ( although there is much European blood in his lineage
as well ) was a very dark skin man, so you can imagine
my shock a few days ago when I stumbled upon this information
about Jan Janszoon in my father's lineage.!
What's really weird /odd is how I found the Janszoon
connection. It appears someone else had another common
ancestor in their tree that connected with my tree,
 including Janszoon and they had a photo illustration
of a book about Janszoon in their gallery
that somehow appeared in my gallery.
When I saw that illustration in my gallery I was confused
knowing that I didn't upload it.
The text in the image is written in Arabic,
so I immediately clicked on the image
because of my major puzzle pieces of Tulips and Lilies
and the Golden Gates and what's unfolding on the world
stage and lo and behold I read
about Janszoon with not only a Dutch Tulip connection but
an Arabic Tulip as well.
I thought... What are  the odds????
I was especially fascinated with Janszoon's son
Anthony Jansen "The Turk" Van Salee Van Salee
who according to Ancestry was my 10th great
uncle. Janszoon daughter Anneke Ariens van Beesd
and Anthony were half sisters.
Same father, different mother.
Anthony's story as the wealthy Dutch who own
200 acres on what is now Manhattan ( New Amsterdam)
and Long Island and Brooklyn and Coney Island was fascinating
to say the least!
According to what I've researched,
Anthony's descendants included Warren Harding which was interesting
as I recall my maternal grandfather saying that Harding
was ' an old Black boy' and 'passin' ,which I guess was common
knowledge in the Black community.
According to what I've read, Anthony's mother was Moroccan .
What's also interesting is that my maternal grandfather
may have connection to Anthony as well, but I won't go into detail
about that as I haven't quite made if that connection is true or
not. What's odd is that both my father and maternal grandfather
were Tall, which if you read the wiki page about Anthony's
physical description sounds very similar to Anthony's including
the 'swarthy Turkish Moroccan complexion'.
My maternal grandfather was not dark, he was more of a brass
copper color skin.
Jackie O and Humphrey Bogart are rumored to be Anthony's
descendants too.
And now maybe you can imagine my shock while
reading your post!!
Here are a few lines of the information from Ancestry how
Jan Janszoon is connected to me. I didn't copy the complete list
for privacy reasons :
Jan Janszoon Van Haarlem ^', de le Forterie Admiral, Moroccan Navy;
aka Morat-Rais, Pirate 1565-1665
11th great-grandfather
Anneke Ariens van Beesd 1608-1690
10th great-grandmother
Daughter of Jan Janszoon Van Haarlem ^', de le Forterie Admiral,
Moroccan Navy; aka Morat-Rais, Pirate
Jan Jocst "John George" Joosten Van Meter Van Meteren 1630-1706
9th great grandfather
Son of Anneke Ariens van Beesd
etc...
Sync Fairies be busy for real , no?
William,
Copy and paste from Anthony Janszoon Van Salee'
wiki page:
"Ethnicity and appearance
"Van Salee was described as unusually tall,
with superior strength. He was known as "a 'Turk'"
or "semi-Dutchman from Algiers", some say from Morocco
but there were no Turkish influence in territories
west of the Moulouya river, of "tawny" complexion.
He was credited with the "first dwelling erected by
Europeans" in what became New Utrecht, about 1643.
Anthony Van Salee's apparent brother,
Abraham Janszoon van Salee, a fellow New Netherland
settler who was involved in privateering,
was described as a "mulatto", in recognition
of his mixed-race ancestry,
and married a black woman named Fortuyn.
Some descriptions of Abraham Janszoon van Salee include ethnic attributions, such as "Turk", and "Berber".
In court records, Van Salee was noted as "Turk",
suggesting that record keepers classified him
by appearance or culture.
Janszoon was known to be the wealthy
heir of a former European native head of state,
even if his father was associated with
privateering on the Barbary Coast.
Gomez notes that historic collections
devoted to African-centric history have been
similarly unable to reach consensus
on his appearance, race, or origin".
~~~~~~~

All of this that I've gathered and shared with
you about this recent discovery, I believe strengthens my
perspective of how Everything is Connected.

And this information 'came' to me, from another experience
in real life that I've had recently about my grandmother Sarah which
I won't go into detail, but I believe that the sync fairies working
in conjunction with my loved one's spirits through my soul,
put this information in my path for a reason, if for nothing
else to show me that the Sacred Sciences exist and
to always follow the signs ( symbolism ) and to transcend
the illusion/ego to find the truth.

As in the Dread Pirate Robards? These syncs make me unreasonably happy, Debbie. I'm going to think of you as an honorary pirate from now on.

Here's a piece I composed in the nineties about a retired Barbary pirate going fishing:

William,
Yes, Dread Pirate Roberts/Robards. One and the same.
I checked out Dread Pirate Roberts wiki.
Never heard of him before.

Thank you for linking the Barbary Coast video.
It was too cool.
I subscribed to your channel ;-))

I re-read your dream and forgot to mention
about the Tea especially the saying
Spilling the Tea in the Black community,
which of course means 'exposing' that which
is hidden, which is EXACTLY what
I believe my purpose to be in this incarnation.
Copy and paste:
What Does “Spill The Tea” Mean?
“Spill the tea” is considered an idiomatic
or informal phrase that is used to tell a person
to share any gossip that they possess
or are aware of. Essentially, this is a request
for someone to disclose information –
**** especially of a sensitive or****** secretive nature."

William,
I just found this information which supports another one of
my puzzle pieces regarding the 40th parallel north
being a powerful ley line which the EL-ites followed.
. Recall my gazillion comments concerning this.

This is from Jan Joosten Van Meteren's
Find a Grave page.
Jan Joosten Van Metern according to Ancestry
was my 9th great-grandfather.
copy and paste:
"Two years before this transfer Jan Joosten Van Meteren
arrived at New Amsterdam with his family on the ship "Vos" (Fox)
on April 12, 1662. He settled in an area on the west side
of the Hudson River about 60 miles upstream
where a group of Dutch and Huguenot immigrants
were establishing a collection of little communities
-- New Paltz, Wiltwyck, Esopus, Hurley and Marbletown --
near the present Kingston, Ulster County, New York
at the foothills of the Catskill mountains."
~~~~~~~
I googled Kingston Ulster County New York
and Lo and behold KING-ston is on the 40 parallel north
as is New Amsterdam, New York aka Manhattan.
So, I may be right about what I suspect about the El-ites
following the 40. From Sea to Shining Sea.
San Fran is on the 40. Of course so is Dayton Ohio ( factor
in the Law of the Three ) Columbus Ohio is too,
as is Carthage, Illinois and Salt Lake City.
If tiriel means "gazing" or "having gazed," then tirielist would be very close in meaning to "seer," confirming the Joseph Smith connection. If even the -ist suffix is read as Elvish, it would mean "lore, knowledge," which also fits.
William,
Seers, Clairvoyance, EL's and Knowledge, OH MY!
and yet, this from wiki ?:
Copy and paste:
. These traditions were widespread in unorganized religion
in the parts of Europe and America where the
Latter Day Saint movement began in the 1820s and 1830s.
Practices of the culture included folk healing,
folk medicine, folk magic, and ****** divination,
remnants of which have been incorporated
or rejected to varying degrees into the liturgy, culture,
and practice of modern Latter Day Saints.'
~~~~~
That is very confusing, at least to me.
Same for reincarnation
Copy and paste:
In Latter-day Saint doctrine, mankind is on the road to immortality
and eternal life. One moves from one type of existence
to another along the way. But this teaching is distinguishable
from reincarnation on several counts:

1. In Latter-day Saint belief, there is only one physical death
for any one person (Heb. 9:27). Amulek, in the Book of Mormon,
taught that man can die only once (Alma 11:45). Reincarnation
posits many deaths, but in Latter-day Saint thought, the resurrection (incarnation) follows death
(cf. D&C 29:24-25).

Debbie, the magical aspects of Mormonism were for practical purposes phased out in the early 20th century with the rise of trust-the-science types like B. H. Roberts and James E. Talmage. They've never been officially rejected, though. Top church leaders still bear the title Seer, and just last year one of them expressed the hope that other records like the gold plates would come to light in the future.

Reincarnation has always been a minority view within Mormonism, but it's never been absent. Even today it is taught that the Telestial Kingdom, one of the possible post-mortal destinations of the soul, is "the world in which we now live."

Ra1119bee said...

William,
Thank you for this information but you wrote" magical aspects
of Mormonism" and I personally don't think that the
esoteric/ occult/ metaphysical/paranormal
is the same as magic.
Magic is performed and conjured like Voodoo.
I do believe that the
Sacred Science Knowledge can be manipulated
into Black Magic, but
the Sacred Science /Language of the Birds/
Universal Language is not magic, IMHO.

Also why all the esoteric Egyptian symbolism on the Temples?
Didn't the Egyptian's believe that the Third Eye i.e One Eye
meant the awaking of the Kundalini energy and activating
the pineal gland which I've shared
my perspective on that subject many times on your blog.

I don't believe that intuition, dreams ( including premonition dreams )
telepathy, clairvoyance, clairaudience is magic but
tapped through the soul connected to God via
the Third Eye.
I think the Third Eye and the All Seeing Eye are one and the same.

I call it magic, using the term broadly. I don't think we disagree on the nature of such phenomena, other than in the terminology we prefer.
