How is 2020 like Soviet Russia?

Church falls away from you.

"But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead."

In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
In the bleak midwinter, long ago.

Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him, nor earth sustain;
Heaven and earth shall flee away when He comes to reign.
In the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed
The Lord God Almighty,
Jesus Christ.
-- Christina Rossetti

Merry Christmas to all my readers. Keep the faith.

Hopefully this has been a wake up call to us all, to not falsely put Faith in a Pope or Prophet, or The Church Organization Itself, but in Jesus Himself.

This has been a core weakness on the part of Catholics who opened themselves to physical and spiritual abuse from evil Priests and religious leaders in name only, which error appears primarily in trying to defend itself from Protestants.

I’ve also sadly seen a Priest, a genuinely good man who even understood the birdemic was false, decide they had to promote the lie because Obedience. The non-clerical SJW “helpers” tried to exploit this to the maximum effect and beat faithful over the head with Obedience, as if obeying a lie is a virtue as long as it spoken by a person with the correct title (even secular government authorities).

My nine-year-old son gets a real kick out of "in Soviet Russia" jokes, but I don't think he would get this one. Not yet anyway.

Me? I'm living the punchline!
