Ambrosia

During my lunch break, I read a little in The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik, stopping at the end of p. 258. On that page, an elderly woman introduces herself to the main characters as Ambrosia. Not the most common name in the world.

My first class of the afternoon, immediately after my lunch break, is a one-on-one session with the owner of a manufacturing company. Today she unexpectedly arrived with a large cat scratcher under one arm. She said her own cat never used it and gave it to me. It has this printed on it:

There's the same unusual name again, Ambrosia -- though somewhat less unusual as a name for food than as a person's name -- and it says "Beware of Cat." This juxtaposition of food and beware calls to mind Bill's 2020 dream in which he saw someone stealing food from his refrigerator and heard a voice say, "Beware this one!" -- which he later understood as a reference to me, the link being the famous line "Beware the Ides of March!"

It's also worth noting that the Chinese -- 安柏希雅 -- is just meant to be a transliteration of Ambrosia, but the first two characters are also the standard transliteration of Amber (the female name, not the stone). Thus Ambrosia is linked to a woman's name (as in Noah Hypnotik) and to the recurring sync theme of amber and ambergris.

The link to the dream is even more direct based on what I ended up guessing was symbolically in that refrigerator, which was the nectar from the lilies on Eressea.

Looking up Ambrosia on Etymonline, I get "food or drink of the Gods", with the literal translation guessed at "of the immortals", so that makes sense.

Interestingly, that dream of the Being stealing from my refrigerator and "Beware this one!" occurred on April 22, 2020. Apparently the following day, April 23 (today) Leo had a dream in which someone absconded with a cooler that belonged to me while I was sleeping after he facilitated some kind of exchange with an unknown third person.

After saying "Beware this one!", and then the remark about dreaming about books, one of the voices in the dream stated "When you're dead, you're dead", before referencing the resurrection as something for Men. Pharazon and the Numenoreans assaulted Heaven and drank the nectar in the hopes of avoiding death.

William,
From a metaphysical lens:
Ambrosia, the drink of the gods.

I don't know if you are aware of an early 1980's band called
Ambrosia or not, but I was a fan, and loved many of
their hits.  Ambrosia is on my youtube playlist.

I thought of the band Ambrosia when I read your post
because I was just listening to a few Ambrosia
songs the other day.

What's odd ( which 'odd' is becoming the normal for me
these days;-))  yesterday 4/22, Marshall and I had
a few errands to run. We went to two separate
retail stores and lo and behold at both of the stores
our total bill was $180.00.

I thought it was odd at the time and mentioned it to Marshall.
I also mentioned that you had a recent post
about the number 180 and that I commented
 on your blog about my fascination with 108 in late 1969,
early 1970 which I had told Marshall about my 108 puzzle
piece many years ago. I don't know the exact post that
I commented on, but I'm sure you can find it and if
you didn't read it, please do.
Copy and paste:
"The number 108 is considered sacred by the
 Dharmic religions, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.
~~~~~~
Again the odd 180 sync was yesterday, 4/22.
So today I read your Ambrosia post and I decided
to wiki the band and I clicked on the hyperlink to one of Ambrosia's
hits, Biggest Part of Me which is one of my favs
by Ambrosia.
Copy and paste: asterisks mine.
"Biggest Part of Me" is a song by American band
 Ambrosia, from the album *****One Eighty.****
~~~~~~~~
 After I read that I thought: hmmm..... 180 again
....What's the odds???

Do note that although I loved Ambrosia I did NOT
have any of their albums and I'm not consciously aware
that they had an album titled One Eighty.

I then googled the meaning of Ambrosia ( which
I kinda already knew but thought I might find additional
clues as to why these recent syncs and lo and behold
I find this.
copy and paste;
"In the ancient Greek myths, ambrosia (/æmˈbroʊziə, -ʒə/,
Ancient Greek: ἀμβροσία 'immortality')
is the food or drink of the Greek gods,
 and is often depicted as conferring longevity or immortality
 upon whoever consumed it.

It was brought to the gods in Olympus by***** doves****.

Ambrosia is very closely related to the gods'
 other form of sustenance, *****nectar."
~~~~~~~~
And now, once more, here we are back again to the Language
of the Birds, no?
 So, I ask you William, what's the odds??
Sync fairies never disappoint, at least not to me.
Note in the video, the red and blue. Also the logo
Ambrosia appears to be written in the shape of a DOME.
Impressive sync, Debbie. The 180 in my dream was even a sum of money.
I assume the album name refers to 180 degrees, an about-face. An azimuth of 180 degrees is due south (Harad). In the dream, the woman I gave the 180 to called me one of the "Northern peoples," implying that she herself was from the South.
William,
Interestingly as I shared the total bill of both of the retail stores
was 180 and was NOT the same items bought. One
of the retail stores was an upscale restaurant called Fleming
in the Greene ( an outdoor Mall in Beavercreek)
and the other store was a grocer called Dots
in Kettering.
So, both stores symbolically meaning ; Food for thought.
Another interesting possible 180 sync and connects
to your cat syncs is the wild Margay cat.
Copy and paste:
" The margay is a skillful climber, and colloquially
it is sometimes called the tree ocelot because
of this ability. It spends most of the time in trees,
leaping after and ***chasing ****birds and monkeys
through the treetops.
It can turn its ankles up to **** 180 degrees,
so it can grasp branches equally well with its fore
and hind paws, and it is able to jump up
to 12 ft (3.7 m) horizontally."
~~~~~~~
Interesting cats share the trees with birds.

Sync fairies be busy fr fr. ( for real for real )

Debbie, I was just thinking of how you interpret literal food as being symbolically "food for thought" because I ran across this post:

William,
I forgot to add. One of the band members of Ambrosia
was their keyboardist Christopher North.
Note the KEY and North reference.
Christopher North recently died in March 2026.

William,
Regarding 'food for thought. Yes, in symbolism anything
having to do with food or a kitchen setting,
cooking or preparing food, restaurants,
tables in restaurants, grocery stores etc.
means food for thought.

Food for thought syncs and dreams means the soul is giving
the dreamer a message to 'chew on or drink'
which when absorbed will become nourishment
for our soul.

Drink ( Ambrosia ) is food for the Gods and is
also ' nectar of knowledge', which becomes;
The Biggest Part of Us, which may be
the message in Ambrosia's song Biggest
Part of Me.
According to wiki "Nectar is an economically important
substance as it is the sugar source for honey."

Recall my Oct 2021 Tulip which I shared with
you many times and is the reason I ' met' you.
In my Tulip dream Marshall and I were in a
mom and pop restaurant. Recall I mention
when I introduced myself to you by email
in 2021 ( after researching tulips ) ,
I had found reference to Oswald Wirth
in the flower tulip's wiki page,

I googled Wirth and found his wiki page
and saw the Magician Table Tarot card
and then I did further research and found your Magician's
Table Blog.

I thought of the Tulip dream when I found your blog
and if your recall
I shared that in the Tulip dream, the owner of
the restaurant cleared all the tables and chairs
up against the wall
so that the diners, including myself, could
introduce themselves and share
our stories about our lives.

The owner sat a chair in the middle of the cleared
space and I sat there. He came up to me
knowing that I didn't want to use my name
to introduce myself
and he said: " I want you to use the name Tulip'
which I did.

In the paranormal everything is symbolic.
