This train of thought was interrupted by my wife asking me to take, Scipio, one of our cats, to the vet for an ear infection, so I did that. The ear drops we'd been using before hadn't been effective, so the vet recommended a different kind. "This one doesn't use antibiotics," he explained. "It uses silver particles to kill the bacteria."
The timing, together with the extremely specific parallel of putting silver, in liquid form, into someone's ears, makes this a highly improbable sync.
Later I looked up the Genghis Khan thing. It turns out only one prisoner, Inalchuq, is said to have been executed in that manner. The silver is supposed to have been poured into his eyes as well as his ears, but for some reason I had only remembered the ears. I wonder if my cruelty brainstorming could have been influenced by a subconscious precognition of what the vet was going to prescribe.

A few days after seeing the "Gloria" video last week, I watched the "movie" covering all of G.E.M.'s Revelation album (the Chinese version, with subtitles). During "Gloria", she tips a large drop of liquid silver into a glass bottle; it's later shown that the silver is her tears. She waters a plant with them near the end of the movie.
William,
Part 1 of 2
Being a Boomer the very first thing I thought of when I read
this post was this : Hi Yo Silver!!!
I say Boomer, however most of us late Boomers
( known as Generation Jones born 1955--1965)
were too young to have watched The Lone Ranger
which aired 1949--1957.
Copy and paste from wiki: asterisks mine
"The Lone Ranger is a fictional masked former
Texas Ranger who fought outlaws in the
American Old West with his Native American friend Tonto.
The character has been called an enduring icon
of American culture
As generally depicted, the Lone Ranger
conducts himself by a strict Moral Code based
on that put in place by Striker at the inception
of the character. It read:
I believe that to have a friend,
a man must be one.
That all men are created equal
and that everyone has within himself
the power to make this a better world.
That God put the firewood there
but that every man
must gather and light it himself.
In being prepared
physically, mentally, and morally
to fight when necessary
for what is right.
That a man should make the most
of what equipment he has.
That 'this government,
of the people, by the people
and for the people'
shall live always.
That men should live by
the rule of what is best
for the greatest number.
That sooner or later...
somewhere...somehow...
we must settle with the world
and make payment for what we have taken.
****That all things change but truth,
and that truth alone, lives on forever.
The wiki article goes on to say this:
For the ****Sailor Moon**** episode, see
Who Is That Masked Man?
At the beginning of each episode,
the magnificent white stallion
, Silver, would rear up with the Lone Ranger on his back,
then they would dash off, the Ranger
encouragingly shouting,
*****"Hi-Yo, Silver!****

Part 2
This wiki article about the Lone Ranger caught
my eye because it appears that the storyline
of Lone Ranger was one of being an individual
and a renegade. One who travels the road less
taken.
The mention of the Sailor Moon episode was noteworthy
because not only of my perspective as far as navigators
and aviators, but also the moon being in the sync stream
lately and of course a sailor moon is a silver moon
and of course the moon has been very active in
the syn stream.
The wiki article goes on to say this:
"The Lone Ranger is the sole survivor of a group of six
ambushed Texas Rangers.
A posse of six members of the Texas Ranger Division,
led by Captain Dan Reid, pursue a band of outlaws
led by Bartholomew "Butch" Cavendish
but are betrayed by a civilian guide who was secretly
working with Cavendish,
and who led the unsuspecting rangers into an ambush
at a canyon known as Bryant's Gap."
~~~~~~~
Also and last but not least, while doing a bit of
research I googled; Lone Ranger and a cat.
I googled it to see if there was a cat connection with
the Lone Ranger, since it was at your Vet where the sync
seemed to happen.
After googling, Lo and Behold, I found a video of
a 1966 cartoon TV show series called Lone Ranger
and one of the episodes is titled: Cat People!!!
As you look at the clip below,
check out not only the setting, but
what I believe to be the 'message'.
In the setting, notice the colors of
amber/orange/yellow/ golden.
I think the 'message' of this episode
Cat People is one of deception.
In the episode Tonto ( Lone Ranger's
Native American friend ( played by Jay Silverheels)
helps Lone Ranger fight the bad guys ).
Tonto's allies are a group
of lions, an eagle and his horse Scout.
In the clip, a group of renegade Apaches ( with a leader
called White Eyes ) disguise themselves
as lions so as to create havoc and to place
blame for the chaos on the lions.
The Lone Ranger cartoon aired from
1966-1969.
On the cartoon's wiki page
is a list of all of the episodes and I found several
of the titles of the episodes very interesting
as their subjects have been in the sync stream.
Here's a few ( see link below for more)
The Trickster / The Crack of Doom
Man of Silver /
Reign of the Queen Bee
As I've noted many times before,
I believe that synchronicity experiences
"finds us "and crosses our path for a
very important reason.
However that's not to say that a sync
is for us and us alone.
Case in point: The fact that the very
first thing I thought of after reading your post
was Hi Yo Silver which I'm bettin'
you most likely wouldn't have thought of
Hi Yo Silver, because you're not a Boomer.
That Lone Ranger yellow brick road
I chose to go down in this sync happens
to have connections to the big picture
of 'riding alone', which I myself
have had many challenges with,
which perhaps you have too?
Having an alternative perspective and beliefs
is a very lonely ride indeed.
I believe
that as a collective we humans share
many of the same archetypes and
lessons to be learned and taught
and we all have the ability to tap into the same
power source from the Sacred Science
knowledge which may explain
what I believe which is: everything is connected.
Thanks for posting this.
William,
I forgot to add that I did Not know any of this information
that I found nor have I ever seen the series the Lone Ranger
or the 1966 cartoon Lone Ranger series.
So, if nothing else finding all of this information
(sparked by your post) helps to validate (at least to me)
my perspective regarding what a synchronicity experience truly is.
Good find, Debbie. I knew the Lone Ranger's horse was called Silver, but it certainly isn't the first thing I would think of in connection with silver. Also, I thought he said "hi-ho" rather than "hi-yo." Your version is correct, of course, but apparently I'm not the only one who misremembers. The British TV series "Boon," in which the main character thinks of himself as a Lone Ranger figure, has a theme song called "Hi Ho Silver."
That "Cat People" episode is interesting in connection with all the various lion syncs. The people dressed as lions made me think of this bit from Daymon Smith's first Words book:
"[T]he man was also masked, wearing the leathered features preserved of his forebear, first of his house in the land, clan-father Judas (as you say). The eyes and mouth were holed out, and all the scalps of chieftains honored had been sewn about to resemble a mane, ghastly as a monstrous man-figure worn by lions in mockery of his claims to rule the hunt."
Just a note, though. I think "white eyes" is a term the Apaches use for the White man, not the name of their leader.
WG, I remember that silver tear from "Gloria." Yes, possibly relevant, especially given that the torture I was thinking of actually involved silver in the eyes as well as the ears.
The silver caught my attention first off because I had just mentioned Judas in my earlier comment regarding Cassius. Judas, Cassius, and Brutus were together in Treachery, the lowest circle of hell in Inferno.
Given the silver in your initial thought was of torture, this seemed to fit (as in, this wasn't a good use of silver). Additionally, the torture involved the head, with silver poured into the ears and on the eyes. Dante observed that Judas was having his own head chewed on by the central mouth of Satan. Further, in the bible, the silver that Judas betrayed Jesus for was both the source of torture for Judas as well as the indirect instrument of his death. It also, strangely, tied in with his head. In Acts of the Apostles, Peter (as recorded by Luke) was made to say that Judas' 30 pieces of silver were used to buy the the very land that Judas hanged himself on, after which he fell "headlong", or on his head.
So it was also interesting that you invoked Judas' name a couple comments above.
In any case, the form of torture rendered a person both blind and deaf, obviously. This also made me think of Nephi's quoting of Isaiah, in which one is sent to render the people blind and deaf so that they cannot understand:
"And he said: Go and tell this people—Hear ye indeed, but they understood not; and see ye indeed, but they perceived not.
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes—lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted and be healed."
Someone with a heavy metal like silver in their ears would definitely have heavy ears.
I would also be remiss to not note a tie with another Khan - the one from The Wrath of Khan, a movie/ story which has been symbolically relevant. Khan also used a torture involving placing something in ears. Rather than silver, though, he placed bugs into the ears of his victims. This ultimately allowed him to control their minds.
Khan is interesting as well given his full name, Khan Noonien Singh. Singh means "Lion".
Apparently Noonien is a Chinese name, but I couldn't find any definition for it. Maybe you know if it is a real name/ word or not.
I thought of The Wrath of Khan, too, thanks to the title of one of the articles I found when looking up the silver torture.
https://www.historynet.com/facing-the-wrath-of-the-khan/
I’ve never seen that movie and didn’t know he put things in people’s ears. Interesting.
Noonien could possibly mean something like “year of wrath” in Chinese. Hard to know which Chinese characters are intended without tone marks.
There are two other potentially things that come to mind in thinking of molten silver in the overall story context. Not sure how relevant, if at all, but I'll include them just in case.
The Pharazon story included cutting down and then burning the white tree Nimloth. When we say "White" tree, Silver is actually also intended. The Tree traced its roots back to the first White Tree, Telperion - the one destroyed by Melkor and Ungoliant - whose name means Silver Tree. Further, Nimloth's immediate parent tree was Celeborn, the White Tree on Eressea, and that name also means Silver Tree. So, I think safe to say Silver was also associated with the White Tree of Numenor, just as it was with its ancestors.
The molten silver may be symbolic of burned Nimloth. When you apply heat or flames to silver, you get molten silver.
The second potential silver connection has to do with Meglin/ Maeglin, and I'll include in a separate comment.
Maeglin has come up symbolically in a few instances, like with The Meg, but also in that image of the bear going through the refrigerator, I think on that t-shirt you saw (The "Meglin" version of that name means "Bear-like").
I have linked Maeglin potentially with Pharazon, though it remains a bit more preliminary compared with some of my other guesses.
In any case, last week I had a name shown to me as I was waking up from a dream. The name was "Marquesse". In seeing it, I actually immediately understood it as both an Elvish name and a double-meaning/ word game, even though I had no idea what the Elvish translation was and I needed to look it up.
It is fairly straightforward in its literal translation: House of the Feather. However, its actual meaning was a bit of a puzzle.
I eventually concluded that it was a reference to Tuor, though I did sort through some other options. Maeglin has been popping up symbolically, so I thought it was only a matter of time until Tuor would as well. It is to Tuor specifically that Maeglin's treachery was focused, with Idril being at the center of this. Treachery and Knavery seems to be the name of the game here, so Maeglin's inclusion is well warranted.
Tuor was Lord of the House of the Wing. Interestingly, etymologically in English, Feather and Wing are synonymous, and so we had one basis for the connection. House of the Feather = House of the Wing.
Further, the double-meaning word game supported this. Marcus was one seemingly apparent double-meaning name here, and likely the reason House of the Wing was written as Marquesse. Marcus has come up before several times, and gives us "of Mars/ dedicated to Mars", and has been used with this Red imagery.
In fact, keeping with our Cassius symbolism, it was Mark (Marcus) Antony who brought Cassius to justice. Antony means "Flower", as well as priceless or praiseworthy, and given the association of Mars with Red and also with Fire (the Greeks also named Mars Pyroeis -"the Fiery"), you have potential references to a Red-Fiery Blossom (a Stone perhaps) but also to priceless flowers set on fire - an allusion to the burning flowers on Eressea.
Anyway, back to how Silver ties in. It was Silver that ultimately was the cause of Maeglin's treachery. Idril's epithet was Celebrindal, meaning "The Silver Foot". Tolkien wrote that Idril was Maeglin's greatest desire, and he conspired with Melkor (once he was captured by him) to overthrow Gondolin in return for Idril.
Somehow Tuor and Idril fit into current events, but I am still working through that a bit.
I few more thoughts on Meaglin in light of all of this in another follow-up comment.
Funny that Debbie's copypasta from Wiki should include a redirect to an article for Sailor Moon, a well-known manga and anime series -- possibly the first anime I ever laid eyes on, sometime between ages five and seven, as the original English dub was included in the morning cartoons I watched. Sailor Moon is the heroine persona of Usagi, leader of the Sailor senshi/warriors and reincarnation of an ancient moon princess; her love is Mamoru, a reincarnated Earth prince, whom can take on the heroic guise of Tuxedo Mask.
Reminiscing on the show, I recalled it often featured a stone called the Silver Crystal. I poked around online and found it's appeared in various shapes, including a teardrop and a lotus flower (synching back to your shaving dream). Furthermore, the Crystal first appeared in episode 34 (!), formed from a combination of other crystals and the tears of Usagi.
While Tuor was Lord of the House of the Feather, Maeglin was Lord of the House of the Mole.
The Mole reference is interesting for a few reasons. The obvious one without any of our syncs or symbols is Maeglin's own role as Melkor's Mole within Turgon's court. It was Maeglin who convinced Turgon to stay in Gondolin knowing that he had given Melkor the secrets of both how to get find the city and what weapons to use against it. Tuor had tried to convince Turgon to evacuate, but Turgon listened to Meglin. This was the broader treachery.
But the Mole is also interesting given some of the "Drill" symbols or references from the past. A mole is a burrowing animal, with burrow meaning "to bore one's way into, to penetrate, make a hole in".... just like a drill.
Back to Meglina actions, his treachery became more specific to Tuor, Idril, and Earendil once the assault of Gondolin began. While Tuor was defending the city, Meglin attempted to kill Earendil and force Idril to marry him.
Tuor caught up with them and then an important detail of the story finally struck me: they fought on top of a wall. Tuor defeated Meglin, who who thrown off of the wall and was dashed against the rocks three times before then landing in fire.
Falling off the wall in this way, including hitting the rocks multiple times and thus potentially breaking into pieces, seems like it could be a Humpty Dumpty reference.
My sense is that you’re barking up the wrong tree here, Bill. Doesn’t really resonate. But who knows.
Yes, could be, but it does resonate a bit to me based on a few things, so continuing to look into this. I think I have my man, at least that is my hypothesis. We'll see.
Maeglin isn't necessarily the best person to be associated with, so I get it. If someone told me I might be Maeglin, I would mentally resist the possibility as well. He, however, like Pharazon, wasn't necessarily born into the best circumstances, so it is a complex story. To say Maeglin had daddy issues would be an understatement.
Maeglin's father, Eol, or rather his works, pose another sync that connects you to Maeglin, though.
The very first comment you ever left on my blog was in a response to a post on the sword Makhmahod. That specific post inspired you to write a comment with Daymon's full name with a question mark. Just that. I first deleted the comment because at the time that name was verboten. I then later deleted the entire post because it became apparent that you made the connection through the sword's name (doing an online search, I think), and at the time I preferred to stay out of that whole world and didn't want Daymon or any of his SLC group finding my blog. So, down the memory hole it went.
Maeglin's father was Eol, who was a pretty twisted guy. He ultimately tried to kill Maeglin, and ended up cursing him that he, like both Eol himself and Humpty Dumpty, would die by being thrown down from a wall.
He was a great craftsman, though, who made two swords: Anglachel and Anguirel.
Anglachel was the sword that eventually found its way to Turin via Thingol (John). You just mentioned Turin's name earlier in a comment response to me as an example of the "Tur" name meaning. Anyway, Anglachel is what then became Makmahod, which was the sword that first drew you to leave a comment on my blog.
Your unconscious interest or association with that sword is then pretty interesting to me. Maeglin actually stole Eol's other sword, Anguirel, and escaped with his mother to Gondolin, which is what ultimately led to Eol's death on top of the wall and the curse the Maeglin have the same thing happen to him.
By the way, your comment comparing me to a dog that barks up a tree (whether right or wrong TBD), is pretty funny, whether you intended it intentionally or not. I guess whether the tree is right or not depends on whether we find a cat in it, right?
More lack of interest than resistance. My reaction wasn’t so much “Oh, no! Not Maeglin!” as “Maeglin . . . uh, who’s that again?” Maybe if I slog through the Silmarillion enough times, these names will finally start to feel like flesh-and-blood characters. Objectively, the story shouldn’t be any harder to internalize than Homer or Virgil or the Bible, but it is somehow. Very different from the LotR that way.
Wandering Gondola,
Thank you for sharing this information about the
Sailor Moon as the mention of Sailor Moon
caught my eye when I read it in
the wiki article.
Interestingly when I found it I felt it was significant
and had connections to many many of my puzzle pieces
regarding the moon
which of course the moon is water symbolism
and water being not only a conduit for intuition
but also a conduit to 'the other side',
mainly through the female. The Chalice.
Water being in the recent baptism sync stream
as well as the Eight Point Star
which is the steering wheel of a ship.
Interesting there has been a whole lot of water
in the US lately and fire too which of course both
are symbolic of baptism.
Water on the east coast and fire on the west.
Also we're in the zodiac sign Cancer, which Cancer is not
only a water sign, but Cancer is also ruled by the moon.
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist
and perhaps too political, but if you get a chance,
do check out the links below
about the Rainmaker.
There has been a lot of recent buzz about
weather modification in social media
concerning the July 4, flooding tragedy in Hunt Texas ,
particularly about Camp Mystic.
I commented about this odd connection
here on William's blog after it happened.
What's also odd is when searching for the Lone Ranger
information and finding the 1966 cartoon series of
the Lone Ranger and Cat People ( which I linked )
another episode of the cartoon series Lone
Ranger popped up on my YouTube feed and its title :
The Rainmaker which Really caught my eye.
If you check out both Rainmaker links below
( the Lone Ranger cartoon And the Rainmaker company
website link) I think you may also see an interesting,
albeit disturbing ( at least to me ) connection.
All the wildfires on the west coast and recently
at the Grand Canyon begs the question
What's Going on? ( at least it does to me )
The Grand Canyon Fire is called the Dragon Bravo Fire.
Your comment about a crystal, also caught my
eye because of my 1997 Hale Bopp dream. I've shared this
dream on William's blog many times, and interestingly
it too connects with not only crystals ( in the dream it
was one milky crystal ) but also to Aviation/ Navigation
as in the dream I saw a space SHIP. .
A ship in the air or a ship on the sea is all
about navigation, no?
I checked out your links about Tuxedo Mask, and found
that connection to Lone Ranger very interesting
given they both wear masks.
I also found this information about the moon cats
very interesting as well, especially this
part,
Copy and paste:
"Moon Cats is a fan canon term referring to the feline
advisors of the Sailor Senshi, Luna and Artemis,
and their daughter Diana."
~~~~~~~~
Do recall my many comments sharing
my perspective about In-Diana, especially William's post
about Indiana Jones.
Princess Diana was a Cancer.
My mother Mary was also a zodiac sign Cancer.
She was a typical 'cat lady' who loved felines.
I'm not surprised that America's Independence Day
was designated for a day in the zodiac sign Cancer
as the sign Cancer is known as the Mother of the Zodiac.
I personally don't believe in coincidences,
and if all of these odd synchronicities aren't coincidences
then what are they? and more importantly
what do they mean?
