Eye dialect and the sound of sirens

My last post, "All my favorite people make me -- is it mað? Măthe? Madh?", is about a version of the Weezer song "All My Favorite Songs" that I heard in a hypnopompic state this morning. Even though only the chorus was included in the dream, I began the post with this image quoting lines from one of the verses:

Black-and-white so as to sidestep the controversy over what color the sky was

In the Weezer song, wishing to be "on an island" presumably means wanting to be in a quiet, isolated spot away from the hustle and bustle of civilization -- but he would "miss the sound of sirens," meaning the police and ambulance sirens that are part of the background noise of a big city. My idea was that by juxtaposing those lines with this image, I could use the same words to express something rather different. Sometimes Odysseus wishes he were home on the island of Ithaca rather than having to spend years at sea, but then he'd miss all the adventures he was having, typified by his being the only mortal to hear the song of the sirens and live to tell the tale. This is certainly where later writers like Dante and Tennyson went with the character of Odysseus, and I think this interpretation is amply justified by Homer. No one really believes the man of many wiles is going to just enjoy a peaceful life on his island and never sail again.

Shortly after I published that post, Bruce Charlton published "Noisiest Bonfire Night ever?" about this year's Guy Fawkes festivities. He specifically mentions the sound of sirens:

Also continuous have been the sirens of the emergency services (fire/ police/ ambulances) - which might, but need not, mean anything very terrible happening, since these vehicles do love making a noise, and need no excuse for doing so.

This kind of racket is quite exciting . . .

He doesn't go so far as to say he'd miss the sirens if they weren't there, but it's still more positive take on city noise than one might expect. And of course Bruce lives on an island and was commenting on a holiday celebrated only on that island.

Much of my post was about the difficulty of creating an "intuitively understandable pronunciation spelling" to convey how the words sad, mad, and bad were pronounced in the dream. I had almost written "eye dialect" instead of "pronunciation spelling," but then I thought I remembered that the former term is used only for nonstandard spellings of the standard pronunciation. I checked Wikipedia, which confirmed that (boldface in original):

Pronunciation spellings are sometimes used in narratives to represent nonstandard dialects or idiolects to create an impression of backwardness or illiteracy in the speaker. This is called literary dialect, often called eye dialect, though the latter term used to be applied only if the resulting pronunciation is the same as the standard one. For example:

"Pleez, mistur," said the beggar.

The example is meant to show that the beggar is so poorly educated that he says mistur instead of mister. But of course the distinction between the two exists only in writing; spoken, they are the same word. Eye dialect is a close cousin to Walt Kelly's creative use of speech-bubble fonts.

This evening, I went to archive.org and,as usual, got a random /x/ thread en route. This is what I got:

It's a thread about the alleged magical power of the word niggur, which is supposedly a totally different word from nigger. This obviously syncs very closely with the mistur-mister distinction in the Wikipedia article.

Nigger is an anagram of ginger. L. Frank Baum had a character whose name was pronounced like ginger but was spelled Jinjur. General Jinjur led an army that was all-female -- which is a pity, as otherwise Sergeant Pepper would have fit right in.

Willam,
Part 1 of 3
Ahhh... once again it appears you're back at the dark (Nigredo )
 and the female. Which both are symbolic
 of that which is hidden. The woman's womb being dark
and "carries"/Cary the creation. Wasn't the word/name Cary
in the sync stream a while back?

The Nigredo is the first step
in the 'creation' of the Philosophers Stone.

And speaking of females and sirens,
 and the Language of the Birds Oh MY!
check this out.
copy and paste: asterisks mine
"The sirens of Greek mythology first appeared
in Homer's Odyssey,
 where Homer did not provide any physical descriptions,
and their visual appearance was left
to the readers' imagination.

 By the 7th century BC, sirens were regularly depicted
 in art as human-headed**** birds. Apollonius of Rhodes
 in Argonautica (3rd century BC) described the sirens
 in writing as part woman and part bird.

 They may have been influenced by the ba-bird
 of Egyptian religion.
 In early Greek art, the sirens were generally represented
 as large birds with women's heads, bird feathers
and scaly feet.

 Later depictions shifted to show sirens with human upper
 bodies and bird legs, with or without wings."
~~~~~~~~~
Note the mention of 'scaly feet'. In astrology
Pisces rules the feet. Because fish have none.
 And speaking of wings,
interestingly something just happened in the US and I think
connects to not only my predictions about the shifting
of ages but also to many of my,
and your, puzzle pieces.
Perhaps you've heard about the Nov 4 UPS tragic airplane crash
in Louisville Kentucky. ( link below ) .
There was a HUGE fireball and black smoke as the UPS airplane
MD-11 flight crashed on takeoff, heavy with fuel headed
to Hawaii.
Preliminary conclusions by the NTSB are that
the left engine had fallen off and the NTSB is comparing
it to the 1979 American Airline's flight 191 crash in 1979
  which the same thing ( a detached left engine) happened
at ORD ( Chicago) unfortunately with the same results.
The difference being the UPS aircraft freighter
  was carrying cargo and only had 3 souls on board
 ( the flight crew ) but there were also casualties on the ground.
I think I commented a few months back
 on your blog about the 1979 AA flight
191 as there was also a precog connection.
However the precog was not from me.
 This recent UPS event hit home with me
 because not only my fascination
and personal connection with Aviation ( I flew
for AA ( American Airlines ) in 1975 but also
all of my family are from Kentucky, particularly Louisville.
My paternal aunt was married to one of the
 Clays ( the Cassius Clay family).
Interestingly the UPS crash happened at Muhammad AIi
International Airport.
Also I find it  interesting  that this UPS crash
 happened in the Ember month ( NovEMBER)
on Nov 5 ( actual date Nov 4th but do take
in consideration the law of three ).
Also the number 4 having symbolic
connections to the door.
Louisville Ky in on the 40th parallel north
 ( actual 38, but again factor in the law of the three)
Remember, Remember the Fifth of November
which was 'coincidently' another 'fiery' incident, no?
The number 5 is interesting in numerology because
it's the number of change.
According to the NTSB, the UPS flight 2976 began take off
at 5:15.
William,
Part 2 of 3
Do consider my recent comment about the vintage linen
cloth which I think has a connection.
 Regarding the vintage cloth,
not only the 'red heifer' embroidery scene,
but also on the bottom of the
cloth the embroidery scene of 4 people.
Recall I spoke of this on the Holy Cow! post
and sent you 2 photos, one of the red heifer
and the second photo of the 4 people.
 In the people embroidery scene, there are
 2 couples on opposite sides
of each other. Both couples are standing under trees.
The females are wearing all red and the
 males are wearing red pants.
The 2 couples are standing  behind a blue fence
 which the fence posts looks like blue crosses.
 I counted the fence 'crosses' and there are 55,
 my birth year.
The 2 females in the middle of the opposites
 ( which I initially thought was one woman as
the 2nd female is ' incomplete'.
 They have red hair or are wearing red hats.
 In the middle of the two trees is what appears
to be a bush as it is not as tall as the trees.
 In the background
is what appears to be a red house.
 All the red of course ( including the red heifer)
 is the color of fire which of course
the Phoenix rises out of the fire's ashes.
I believe the red heifer and people cloth
 connects to the UPS  crash
because interestingly the UPS ( up's )
  tragic crash happened at 5:15.
 Change  (symbolic of number 5 )
are on opposite sides (5:15 ) and the number one
is in the middle.
In the red heifer cloth, the
long row of fencing somewhat looks like a runway/airstrip.
The reason why I'm making a big deal of this, is because
as I commented previously, both scenes ( the red heifer
and the people and crosses scene ) are on the same cloth.
Maybe they're one and the same? Interesting 'cloth'
has connections to a dream I had in 2016 which I titled;
Brown Shirts.
William
Part3
Consider this:
On Aug 21, 2016 I had a very
interesting dream I titled Brown Shirts.
Here is a copy and paste:
"I was walking home but for some reason the streets
were deserted except for stray dogs.
  The dogs appeared to have been
 someone’s pet at one time, but I didn’t see any people.
 I went into my house and brought out bread to feed the dogs.
I then thought the dogs would need more food other than bread
and I found some American cheese slices to give them as well.
The dream changed somewhat as the next thing I knew
I was in the computer room in the log house.
I recall looking out the window and seeing a White guy
( maybe in his 30’s or so, with black disheveled hair
 walking up the side walk to the house.
 He was wearing a brown ( tannish) short sleeve shirt.
 He was carrying a duffle bag , I think the duffle bag was orangish..
I woke up…"
~~~~~~~~~~
When I woke up from the dream I researched Brown Shirts
and found information about the Sturmabteilung. ( see link )
What was also interesting in the dream, was me walking
through deserted streets and abandon dogs.

In the US right now, the economy is  getting really bad
for a lot of people. There are massive number of layoffs
across all professions and sectors, including tech
and many people are abandoning their pets because
they can't afford them anymore.

I think I shared with you previously about the
US government shutdown.

The gov has paused the SNAP program ( which is
the first time in history ). The SNAP program
is Food Stamps given to 42 million low income
people in the US.  In the 2016 Brown Shirt dream
note I made mention of bread and food.

The US government shutdown
is not only affecting food,  but also air travel.

Many of the Air Traffic Controllers are calling in sick because they
are not getting paid and the gov just announced a
decrease in flights by all major airlines which
will affect the supply chain considerably especially
factoring in the UPS crash.

Also in the dream the dishevel hair guy wearing
a brown shirt was carrying a duffle bag.
The word duffle meaning: having to do with 'cloth'.
Keep in mind, I had the Brown Shirt dream in 2016.

I'll send you the photo of the 'one cloth'.

Ride a painted pony, let the spinnin' wheel spin

Note in the 1968 Spinning Wheel song by
Blood, Sweat and Tears, the end of the song
sounds like music you would
hear at a circus or carnival
which of course circus and carnivals
are the domain of the trickster
and the illusion.

Recall my many comments about the soul
being on the Wheel of Time.

Also interestingly the one cloth photo I sent you, the red heifer
scene is on top ( Up) and the people scene is down.
