Strange is the night where black stars rise,And strange moons circle through the skies,But stranger still isLost Carcosa.
Black stars rising got my attention, since just a few months ago I read Gary Lachman's book Dark Star Rising: Magick and Power in the Age of Trump (mentioned in many posts here). Last June, I posted "Ascending to the black star," which connected the Elvish root amu, meaning "up(wards)" or "to raise" with a particular part of a Scrabble board, leading to the black star in the board's center. Rather than the interpretation given in the post title, this could also refer to the black star itself rising.
This morning, on the way to a café for breakfast, I was behind another motorcyclist, on the back of whose black hoodie was a large light-gray star, inside which were two black stars and the words "DARK HARVEST." I didn't get a photo and wasn't able to find an image of that exact hoodie online, but the design was similar to this, the only differences being the color scheme and the fact that there were only two smaller stars:
As I entered the café, the background music playing the Malena Stark song "A Little Bit of Faith," the chorus of which begins, "Oh, there must be more." That word more has come up in two recent dreams (see "Half under the sea" and "Pterodactyls, the foil game, and a fake séance"). In comments on both of those posts, Bill pointed out that more is a homophone for the Elvish root mor, meaning "black, dark, darkness."
While that song was playing, I checked Ann Barnhardt's latest Meme Barrage on my phone, and one of the memes referenced Scrabble:
In Chinese, the characters for "star/planet" and "great ape" are homophones. Chimps are called "black apes" (as distinguished from "big apes," or gorillas, and "red-fur apes," or orangutans), so the word for "chimpanzee" sounds exactly like "black star." This makes me wonder if this movie (which I may or may not have seen; I can't keep them all straight) might be synchronistically relevant.
By the way, how was that poster not condemned as one of those "racist dog whistles"? Or perhaps it was. I can't say I've been paying attention.
And yes, Debbie, I see the Golden Gate Bridge on the poster.

The three five-pointed stars on the hoodie, together with the black-and-gray color scheme, is a link to the Three of Pentacles.

William,
You wrote,
"And yes, Debbie, I see the Golden Gate Bridge on the poster."
My response:
And yet no posts or mentions about recent events in Iran, the Tulip?
No posts or mention about Trump calling Michelle and Barack Obama
Apes?
No mentions of San Franciso and the Golden Gate Bridge in
not only the 2010 movie Hereafter which the setting is not only
in San Fran but symbolism with both lilies and tulips,
but also San Fran and Golden Gate Bridge having a very significant
presence in the Planet of the Ape's movies, which
I've commented about ALL many many times
in the last several years.?
There is a blood moon on Purim, Mar 3.
We are in very interesting times....

Division of labor. I've got quite enough on my plate with my own syncs.
Understood.
"Lost Carcosa" brings to mind Atlantis/ Numenor, which probably isn't surprising my mind goes there given all the other context, including the Yellow King. So, I looked up Carcosa to see if I could understand its etymology. I've never heard of it before.
So, I guess it is a completely fictional name, and no etymology I could find, though the word has come to be associated with certain things based on how it has been used. I guess The King in Yellow stories were the main thing that brought the word into more popular usage.
Since it is completely fictional, I turned to Elvish for inspiration. Kar-Kosa, I think, makes sense, although I think there is potentially a double meaning of Kark as well, which will get to the Black Dog.
Anyway, Kar-Kosa (Car-Cosa as original spelling also works since the C and K are the same) would be something like "The Deed of Wrath" or "To Cause Wrath" in my own interpretation. Kosa based on Kos "quarrel, dispute", etc., but ultimately going back to Kot/ Khot and other variations meaning "hate, be wroth, quarrel". You could also translate it literally as "To make war", and other phrases like that.
You can obviously make a connection to Numenor and its destruction, as it becoming lost below the Wave was a direct result of it making war on Heaven. Interestingly to me in seeing Carcosa relate to Wrath is some of your earlier sync ties between Odysseus/ Ulysses and the Great Wave, since Odysseus also means "Wrath" or "one who causes anger/ hate", which in itself is a pretty direct hit to the above translations of Carcosa.
I mentioned the Black Dog in your other post, and want to tie off the loose end above for why Kark/ Carc is an interesting root to also consider. Carcharoth was the greatest Werewolf of the First Age, portrayed in art as a large Black Dog, who actually became a Star, of sorts, when he ate the Silmaril - a Black Dog Star. Kark/ carch means "Fang, tooth".
Werewolves were involved in the assault of Eressea, according to Daymon's stories. They were interestingly described in similar ways to that of Carcharoth in that assault, in that these wolves had glowing bellies:
"And from his ships leapt the wolves, aglow in their guts, skeletally streaking across the bay..."
They, like Pharazon, would consume light from the Lilies, before then hunting for Eressean children. Anyway, the symbolism of these dark wolves with glowing guts rising from Numenor to Eressea seemed one additional take on Black Dogs and Dark Stars rising, tying this post with the other.
Coming back to Carcosa, interestingly the name apparently is used prominently in the show "True Detective" (from what I read - I've never seen it) to describe a place where horrible things were done, including child sacrifice, which is very Numenorean. It should also be noted that Sauron bred the wolves, both before and on Numenor, and they consisted of spirits possessing these bodies that Sauron bred. This brings to mind your dream of people being possessed during the seance and being asked to bark.
