The Time Machine is probably H. G. Wells's single most famous work. This poster -- for a movie based on the Wells novel and directed by his great-grandson Simon Wells -- features a clock twisted into a lemniscate and also emphasizes the number eight with the tagline "0 to 800,000 years in 1.2 seconds."
