Another link between 8 and time travel

The Time Machine is probably H. G. Wells's single most famous work. This poster -- for a movie based on the Wells novel and directed by his great-grandson Simon Wells -- features a clock twisted into a lemniscate and also emphasizes the number eight with the tagline "0 to 800,000 years in 1.2 seconds."

William,

I personally do Not believe that physical matter including our physical body
can transcend what we know in this duality dimension as linear time.
However and as I've commented before I DO believe that through our SOUL we have the ability to transcend this duality dimension's linear time and we do so every night in REM sleep.

Last night, and very randomly I was browsing Netflix and decided to watch a fav Boomer classic, the 1994 movie Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks.

I've seen Forrest Gump what seems like a gazillion times over the years, including its first release in the theaters.
However, and lo and behold, how interesting the symbolism that the movie Forrest Gump is chockfull of!!

I absolutely did not see all the symbolism before, especially the 4's and 8's however this time the symbolism was extremely apparent as of course I'm looking through different lens this time around, having gathered a lifetime of esoteric experiences and dreams, a gazillion hours of research and connecting the dots ( puzzle pieces ).

I don't know if you read my response to ben in your post : A set of double doors, one red and one green', but if you did recall my sharing a few of my personal connections with the number 4, and the research ( research triggered by dreams ) of the Octagon i.e. the number 8.

In the movie Forrest Gump, there is a scene of Forrest as a child wearing leg braces.
He is sitting in a chair in the hallway of his school while his mother, played by Sally Field, is inside a room speaking to a school administrator.

Forrest is wearing a Navy blue shirt ( somewhat resembles a Sailor's shirt ) and stitched on the shirt is an Eight Point Steering Wheel ), which I paused the movie and was very intrigued given that the octagon stitched on a little boy's shirt seemed out of place, no rhyme or reason. ( see link, marker/frame 0;11- 0:16)

In college Forrest plays football and his number is 44. ( see link, marker/frame 0:50-0:55)

When meeting Lt. Dan for the first time in Vietnam both Bubba ( his Black
army buddy ) and Forrest are wearing their green army fatigues and on both of their uniforms is an emblem of what appears to be an 8-petal flower. ( see link at marker/frame 1:30--1:35)

One side ( 4 points) of the flower is
colored black. Somewhat reminds me of the symbolism yin and yang. ( see link )

Of course in the movie Forrest 'becomes' a Shrimp Boat Captain which having to do with navigating water and steering of the wheel.

Another interesting connection with two 4's is the Apple Corp's letter to Forest.
Look closely on the letter. Apple's address is 144.
See link marker/frame 0:09--0:11

The scene where Forrest meets Jenny for the final time at her apartment in Georgia,
Jenny's apartment number is 4 ( see link marker/frame 2:36--2:42 )

There is also mention of Forrest's Greenbow Alabama address, which is 17 ( most likely a
State Route) which of course 1+7=8.

Of course the overall plot and I believe the message of Forrest Gump is not so much 'of time travel per se' but the times of our life of our physical body's journey on Earth.

Hidden in plain sight, no?

Your momma sure does care about your schoolin, son.
