Or on January 8. If I were smart, I would stop making predictions about specific dates, since everyone (including me!) knows that dated prophecies never come true. However, I think specific -- and therefore testable -- hunches should be reported, so that the reliability of whatever it is that generates the hunches can be tested. So far, that reliability is: Low.

I agree that 'nothing' (special) happened on August 1st.
This fits with my understanding of how even genuine, divinely-inspired, prophecy works - https://charltonteaching.blogspot.com/2021/08/how-does-predictive-prophecy-work.html - predictive prophecies always (even if implicitly) have the structure of 'This will happen, unless...'.
I think it is likely that God has us on some kind of a rolling timescale when something big is planned, but gets held-back when (in whatever way God measures these things) there is sufficient reason to delay the event.
My hunch is that the world is in a spiritually better state now than one year ago - because some significant number of individuals have changed sides from Satan to God. I think we would agree that this (minority) recovery/ awakening was preceded by a tremendously successful recruiting drive that swelled Satan's army's ranks in early 2020.
Yet there does seem to be some measure of recovery - and continuing; which might well be sufficient for God to delay... whatever he had planned. But probably not enough to cancel it.
Of course, all this is at the level of my intuitive hunches, and mostly retrospective.
While we can't see anything in the broadsheets or news sites, I consider the small pieces slotting into place in the hearts of men. That which can't be seen but can be occasionally felt.
Sometimes the great change comes in a sense from a series of 'changes' swiftly flowing through the hearts and actions of man and nature, in multiple directions, coming back on each other to reconverge. The point at which the truth of reality can no longer be ignored - canceling out or exploding (a decision having to be made).
My sense is that a great many more people have now worked out which side they are on. And this is a very good thing. I sit through meetings with people discussing statistics and which/when they are taking the vaccine. I keep quiet and get over it.
I don't know why I'm inspired to ask this but .. have any of you ever dreamed of being two (or more) people at the same time ? Perhaps being in conflict and trying to resolve your conflict.

It's more of a novelty than music (it's certainly less musical than previous outputs from Pepe Deluxe) but.. for me the question is, why has it been produced ? Who will it inspire ?

I would say a disillusionment re the vaccine is taking place, and Aug 1 feels like the tipping point. Still pretty minor, especially since it seems there is no improvement in perspective on how dangerous the birdemic actually is(n't).
