Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, no?
P. S. I love America and the idea of America,
at least the 'dream' part.
However perhaps the dream/illusion
that the Conquerors knew and manifested,
(the American experiment) was just that ( an illusion)
as Plato, John Dee and Francis Bacon and others'
final destination has always been The New Atlantis.
It certainly would explain ( at least to me) why it
appears that we're sailing in that direction.
