I dreamt of drawing pigeons all night

I had a very long dream in which I was doing minimalist drawings of pigeons in a sketch book. I was primarily using a black fountain pen, drawing little detail but trying to get the shapes perfect and exactly like real pigeons seen from a variety of angles. I also used a bit of blue-gray watercolor, very sparingly, just enough to add a suggestion of solidity in three dimensions. There were no actual pigeons to serve as models; I was drawing from memory or imagination.

This continued for what felt like a great many hours. I never got tired of it. I could have gone on for days.

William,

Debbie's intro to her comment in comparing the Pigeon with Mercury is interesting for a few reasons, including the allusion to "don't kill the Messenger". The latter since Mercury has been associated in my own symbols with Abinadi, who was the messenger that was sent to Noah and his priests - and they did, in fact, end up killing that messenger.

But the specific mention of Mercury here for me tied the Pigeons to a voice from yesterday morning. After a series of dreams, I woke up and heard a very clear male's voice say:

"I would listen to Mercury
He knows of what he speaks"

It was unclear how, or if, the voice tied to my dreams, who was saying it, who they were speaking to, and if his was part of a larger dialogue between various individuals (my sense is that it was). It was just interesting because it was the first time, that I can remember, that Mercury's name has been specifically invoked in that form.

In one of the dreams that preceded that voice, I was playing in a basketball game. There was a referee who, as the game went on, increasingly made very bad calls, always favoring the other team. Something was very wrong - like he was fixing the game or something, and this grew increasingly obvious. Anyway, I grew frustrated at what was going on, and went up to the referee and said "Both you and your kids can go to hell".

The phrase was so specific (and seemingly out of proportion - I don't know of any instance in which I would tell someone their children can go to hell), that I figured there is something there. Since the focus was the referee, I looked up that word, and saw that this refers to a person who gets to decide things, but also has a legal sense: "person selected under authority of law to try a case in place of the court".

I think there must be something to that - perhaps some authority (I am speaking in a spiritual sense, in this larger story) who is corrupt.

Debbie's next references to the "homing Pigeon" are also potential interesting links to another voice from the morning, and continues to tie to Pigeon, Mercury, etc. Share that in another comment.

This morning, when I woke up the phrase was "Barge west man". It was accompanied by a clear mental image of a man on a small raft in the ocean. Upon closer inspection, it appeared the man was the character Dwight Schrute from The Office, who was played by the actor Rainn Wilson.

I actually understood Barge to have a double meaning, both referring to the raft/ boat the man was on, but also having to do with barge as a verb - as in to "barge in" to something, which would be to interrupt something or to enter somewhere uninvited.

The words and image could refer to Joseph, and thus in some way tie back to the Mercury reference from yesterday. In Daymon's writings, Joseph was exiled from Numenor, having been deemed old and crazy. He was placed on a "little sea-barge", where he floated west, eventually uniting with Asenath.

That would be the historical context for a man alone on a barge in the ocean, but my guess is it also points forward to a future trip out West. Trying to make sense of earlier words, symbols, etc., my guess has been that not everything is rosy on Eressea #1, and such a voyage west by a Man from our world wouldn't be welcome by every resident on that world (The "referee" from my earlier dream my link to Eressea #1, or some Beings on it). And that would get to the double meaning of "Barge" - to travel there, or potentially past or through there, uninvited.

So, that symbolism has to do with Joseph in some way, I think. The interesting thing, though, is that "Barge west man" can also apply to Pharazon, who took a ship out west, and did so uninvited. He also "Barged in". In fact, it was the uninvited nature of his visit that was referred to in a prophecy of his voyage in Daymon's story. These words are attributed to Asenath, and would have been captured while she stayed in her cottage off the coast of Eressea in the time immediately preceding Pharazon's invasion. The "one not invited" is Pharazon:

"And now Eru shall in his recondite wise foresight, bring here to tread, a one not invited. This doing, driving to conclusion one house's governorship, and the placing of a second there to rule, for a time, appointed in years, ten thousand..."

It is interesting that Asenath will shortly follow this statement with writing of "old friends" gathering, "assembling to guide the days out", which then coincides with Thingol-John's reappearance.

William Wright (WW) said...

To "barge in " also has an element, per some online dictionaries, of have an clumsy or ungraceful element to it. That also ties to another prophecy of Pharazon's journey West, in which he is portrayed as reaching across the table and spilling wine. This was a dream captured by Izilba in Words of the Faithful. I'll include the whole thing, because as I think I've mentioned before, the first several lines link directly the the earliest dream/ nightmare I can remember from childhood, in which monsters were coming through caves and a wolf was hunting children on land. The specific reference to Pharazon is at the end, starting with "A golden guest":

Out of the caves, out of the caves, Utumno's mortals,
Out of the ships, out on the shores, glorious she-wolves,
Upon the shores bestrewn, bodies of Asenath's maids,
in exile scattered, unseamed, what mothers had sown.
A golden guest, across the table reaching,
spills the wine ewer, and red runs the white.

The last phrase of Red running the White perhaps sets the stage then for Isaiah's words and symbolism, which has come up, or Red things becoming White once again.

Huh, are you much of an artist in waking life? While the use of blue-grey is synchronistically interesting, there could also be some significance in pigeons versus doves.
pigeonpedia.com/difference-between-dove-and-pigeon/

The emphasis on drawing brought to mind Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Late in the first book, a spread of seven Tarot cards is drawn for protagonist Roland, and three of those cards represent individuals that become part of his "ka-tet", a group bound by fate. Despite its name, the second book only covers Roland pulling two people, Eddie and Susannah, into his world from elsewhere; the remaining character, Jake, is "drawn" in the third book.

Wandering Gondola,
Susannah, is Suzy, the Lily (L) which the EL's aka L's
are The Shining Ones.
Of course Jacob is Israel.

I believe Stephen King was Jewish as well, and I'm only
pointing that out because William brought up the ethnicity
of Henry WINK-ler who played Fonzie on the 1970's TV
show Happy Daze( Days) in his spaghetti post.

Another very odd and interesting connection
to me personally is the name Roland.
Copy and paste:
"Roland: The name originates from Frankish,
meaning "famous land" or "fame of the land",
derived from the Old German words for fame and land.

"Robards: The surname is derived from the personal
name Robert, which comes from Old German words
meaning "fame" and "bright".
It was introduced to Britain by the Normans.
***These names reflect cultural heritage
and historical significance."
~~~~~~~~~
My personal connections are the Robards who
were Planters in Kentucky and in my family lineage
on my parental side.
Robards meaning fame, bright.
Fame meaning being known, being talked about
as in a celebrity " star". Bright meaning shiny.
Also interesting is an old-school 1990 song by 2 rappers
named Tag Team. Their only 'hit' song is called:
Whooomp ( There It Is )
Copy and paste: asterisks mine
"The duo is made up of Cecil Glenn
(DC, the Brain Supreme) and
Steve Gibson (Steve***** Rolln***).
In the early 1990s, Tag Team*** broke stereotypes
about the hip-hop genre by demonstrating
that there is more to hip-hop than inflammatory lyrics.****
The success of "Whoomp! (There It Is)"
represented a milestone in the history of hip-hop
because it has been enjoyed by culturally
and generationally diverse audiences."
~~~~~~~
Interesting the reference to DC and Brain Supreme.

I personally am not a fan of the Hip-Hop, Rap
music genre although I do like some.

Whoomp was released
in 1990 and although I don't recall listening to it
then, the song recently (this year)
appeared in my youtube short feed
and I clicked it on.
It's now on my youtube play list.

What's interesting is for some reason
in the lyrics the name Steve Roland caught
my 'ears'. I don't know why. I recall thinking
it was not a typical name in the Black
community, especially for a young Black
male.

However today and because of
your comment about Stephen King
and the Dark Tower, I wiki'ed Tag Team
and read that Tag Team
were composed of Cecil Glenn aka DC the Brain Supreme
and Steve Gibson aka Steve Rollin' ( not Roland).

The word Rollin' perhaps meaning a rock that rolls
(rock and roll)
and in the urban Black vernacular especially
in the 1990's the saying : 'That's how
we Roll'.

Also Interesting the two Stevens. Steve
Gibson 'Rollin' and Steven King.

I've personally have never been a fan of
Stephen King's work. A few of his films
I've watched, but King is too fantasy/fiction
'over the top' for me.

Because of your post I checked out the Dark Tower link
and very interesting as several events and names
in the Dark Tower books connects with some
of my puzzle pieces.

Thank you for posting the link.

WG, I don't know if I'd trust that pigeon site too much. It seems a bit confused:

"Doves and pigeons are in the same taxonomic family. There are 344 known species, of which 13 are now extinct."

"As said above, all pigeons and doves are the same species."

This is such an obvious and extreme contradiction that it makes me wonder if the article was written by a human being.

I've read very little Stephen King (who is not Jewish, Debbie; when I was a kid, there were rumors that he was a Mormon, which isn't true, either), but Dark Tower juxtaposed with Roland made me think of Browning's "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came" (to which I assume King deliberately alludes), which in turn led to Byron's Childe Harold's Pilgrimage. These lines came to mind, possibly relevant in connection with "fly" syncs:

Childe Harold basked him in the noontide sun,
Disporting there like any other fly,
Nor deemed before his little day was done
One blast might chill him into misery.

Dangit. I did note that page's contradictions but had too much else on my mind to be fussed. Yesterday was a little weird.

Browning's poem is the main inspiration for Dark Tower, yeah. The series blends a bunch of genres instead of sticking to King's typical horror, though it does link with some of his other work.
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Literature/TheDarkTower

Those interconnections were one of the reasons I started selectively reading King's stuff, although I've lost interest in more recent years. I have little doubt he took some kind of ticket to become such a big name, and he's shown himself to be a leftist dick. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy rereading the books I own but separating authors and their works is a tricky thing.

Debbie's thing about the ELs reminds me that Roland is the last of the line of Arthur Eld, his world's version of King Arthur.

Wandering Gondola,
VERY interesting about Arthur Eld. EL-D perhaps
the D meaning Dalet, the door ya think?
Given that Arthur Eld was King of the White
meaning 'bright' would also make him a Shining One.

Also I found the information about Eld's horn very interesting
as it connects to my Feb 2015 Where's My Horn
dream and puzzle piece. Also interesting is the image
shown in the fandom article of Eld's horn being the Shofar.

It was my Where's My Horn dream that led me
down the path (after a gazillion hours of research)
to The Third Temple, the Shofar and the Golden Gates.
Do note that my dream's 'clue's were all
'spoken' in symbolism.
I had no clue about The Third Temple, the Shofar
and the Golden Gate in Jerusalem BEFORE the dream.

After the dream in Feb 2015, I told my best friend
that Trump was going to be POTUS, although
at that time Trump hadn't even announced
running until June 2015.
When I told my friend she said: " There's no way
in Hell that's going to happen."

When Trump was selected( oops I mean
elected) I wasn't surprised when Trump announced
Pence as VP, although honestly I had never heard
of Pence before and interestingly haven't heard from him
since.
However the Trump-Pence ) wording
was quite the clever joke, I'll give them that.
Masters of deception indeed.

Thank you for commenting about Arthur Eld.
Very interesting.

Wandering Gondola,

Wow! After I posted my comment about maybe
the D meaning Dalet the doorway , lo and behold
while closing out all of my tabs in my browser, preparing
to go to sleep, I stumbled on
this blog and what appears to be someone' comment :
Copy and paste: asterisks mine
"My understanding has always been that Roland
has repeated his quest any number of times -
we see this pretty clearly in his last words before
being ****pulled through the door***: "Not again!"
We might call each of Roland's repetitions of his quest a "cycle".

The first time Roland began**** a cycle***, he did so
of his own free will****. He chose to seek the Tower.
But he did everything wrong along the way.

****As a result, he was doomed to repeat the cycle
until he got it right. From this point onwards,
the quest is also a punishment.
**** He must repeat it again and again,****
until he finally learns from his mistakes.****

The reason why this got my attention,
is this comment mirrors exactly
(and have commented a gazillion times )
what I believe reincarnation to be.

Wow... If you hadn't commented about the Dark Tower
I would have never found this path and very important
information that I absolutely needed to
complete my puzzle.
So, Thank You.

Ra1119bee said...

Wandering Gondola,
Regarding punishment,
I guess I just believe that for every action there is a reaction
and in the spiritual sense, Karma. I believe our punishment
for our ego's 'sins' is the reason we have to return
to the cycle( wheel of time ) incarnated/ incarcerated
on this duality planet.
I do believe that we have free will here.

I believe that the soul's quest each incarnation
is to find balance, and we find balance by walking
a mile in other skins, cultures, genders, and with the
lessons learned ( from the good, the bad and the ugly)
it's balance that helps us find love and compassion
i.e. 'there by the grace of God go I .'

With that knowledge, I believe, sets us free
from the ego and in turn, the wheel of time.

The concept of Red things turning White, or becoming clean, which I alluded to above in my comment, and which has been a continuing theme on your blog, came up in a fairly strange and unique way this past weekend, and I didn't catch some of its importance until this morning. So, sharing it here.

My youngest son had a hockey tournament over the weekend. During one of the games, I suddenly noticed that one of the defensive pairs on his team wore the numbers 7 and 22, respectively. I first noticed it when they were skating side by side in that order, and it just sort of caught my attention right then given the significance of that number (for me, its my birthday, and for you, your first spiritual experience, if I remember).

They have their last names on their jerseys, so I then noted that number 7 was "Rost" and 22 was "Fuller". This is his off-season/ AAA team, so I don't know any of these kids very well. As these things go for me, I decided to look up these names to see what the hockey jerseys were trying to say.

Rost can mean "Rust" from Old German. It is also an Elvish word that can mean either "rainy" or refer to some kind of ascent, rising, etc. The "rust" mention interested me most given its meaning or reference to "Red" or "Redness", and in German specifically can be a nickname for a red-headed individual.

I then looked up Fuller. It turns out "Fuller"refers to someone who cleans cloth, particularly wool.

The names together suggest that we had potentially both a wool cleanser who was red and someone who cleanses red wool. A Red Fuller. This brought me to the Isaiah scripture you have mentioned now several times, and also to my dream/ words from 2020, which paraphrased Isaiah in describing crimson sins being made white like snow.

So, that all seemed interesting to me, and with the names literally coming from two players bearing the numbers 7 and 22. And that defensive pair lasted the whole tournament

However, I had some mental block on "Fuller" where I didn't realize I should have recognized this from scriptures, but I didn't. Didn't cross my mind. However, this morning, I had another phrase come into my mind when I woke up. Two days ago, it was the mention of Mercury, and the need to listen to him. Yesterday was "Barge West Man". And this morning was "Fuller's Soap".

That was when I remembered Fuller was in various scriptures, so I looked it up. It is Malachi/ 3 Nephi 24. When Jesus was in Bountiful, he gave them Malachi's words, and this include this reference to fuller's soap. Interestingly, the passage is in the context of the Messenger, which has been tied to Mercury/ Swift Messenger in some of our symbols, and thus potentially also these other morning phrases the last few days:

"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in; behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of Hosts.

"But who may abide the day of his coming, and who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap."
