The Byrds and Byrd, Marcellus and Marsellus

My last post, "Many a Melchizedek," about a sync involving the word many, quoted some Byrds lyrics. This morning I was reading Laeth's latest, Powerless, and found this (ellipsis in the original):

Maybe it’s because we have similar tastes in music… and there aren’t that many Byrd or Purcell fans out there

The juxtaposition of many and Byrd, with the latter referring to music, makes this a sync.

The context makes it clear that the reference is not to the 1960s Laurel Canyon band but to William Byrd, the Renaissance composer with some 500 works to his name. Apparently he's slipped into obscurity in Europe, but he was still a household name in America when I was growing up. I mean, probably 80% of his oeuvre had been forgotten, but his really popular tunes were on the radio all the time. They used to call them the Bill Byrd Hot 100.

Later today, I read this in Powerless:

That’s the main problem I have with Baumbach… the music is terrible… it’s just not believable that cultured people would like Bruce Springsteen.

I am by no stretch of the imagination a cinephile and couldn't pick a Baumbach film out of a police lineup, but the sentiment expressed reminded me of something I'd seen in a movie: Uma Thurman and John Travolta, both playing characters who are supposed to be very cool, dance together to a Black Eyed Peas song, and she seems impressed that he's a Black Eyed Peas fan, as if liking that very mainstream schlock marked one as a very hep cat indeed.

Synchronicity intermission: Powerless is about the electric power going out. I'm typing this in a cafe, and just as I finished the above paragraph, the power went out. Just the circuit breaker, not a nationwide blackout, but still.

So, as I was saying, we're supposed to buy that Thurman is wowed by Travolta's status as a Black Eyed Peas fan?  Even Springsteen would have been more believable. Are Black Eyed Peas fans even a thing? There are hardcore Bruce Springsteen fans. There are even Dave Matthews Band fans; I've met one. But have you ever heard anyone rave about the Black Eyed Peas? Seen anyone in a Black Eyed Peas T-shirt, anything like that? It's generic-brand music. People may listen to it, but they aren't "fans."

What movie was that, anyway? Surely not Pulp Fiction! I know those two famously dance together in that movie, but Tarantino would never be that tone-deaf. Did the Black Eyed Peas even exist back then? I took a break from reading to look it up. Be Cool. 2005. Universally panned. Serves them right.

I returned to Powerless, turned the digital page, and found this:

But then his enemy started talking about Pulp Fiction. He had a theory that the Butch and Marcellus Wallace segment should be the last one in the film.

This caught my attention not only because a sentence earlier in the same paragraph had made me think of Pulp Fiction but also because of the name Marcellus, which has been in the sync stream, primarily as the name of the octopus in Remarkably Bright Creatures.

Who's Marcellus Wallace? A modern person with an ancient Roman name is probably going to be Black. Is that the name of Samuel L. Jackson's character?

I looked it up. No, it's a different Black guy, Ving Rhames. And his name is actually Marsellus Wallace, because Quentin Tarantino is illiterate (as, to be fair, are a lot of Black gangsters' mothers). Only Laeth's spelling error, correcting Tarantino's, made it an exact match for the octopus. Apparently he's a crime lord and wears round sunglasses not unlike Doc Ock's.

Google helpfully informed me that "People also ask: What is the theory of Marcellus Wallace?" I guess he's the kind of guy who attracts theories.

 William,
Part 1 of 2
And speaking of Adam and Atoms, Admiral Byrd and The Bird
is the word, and the Language of the Birds ,
and Cassius Marcellus Clay ( who was not Black nor ignorant),
and Walter Russell and yellow and the dividing line, levitation
and yellow  and the blue and red spectacles, OH MY!!

Back story:
First of all and speaking of powerless, at
10:30 am yesterday (  June 2 ) our power went
out due to a traffic accident on the major east west
state route where Marshall and I live.
It was out most of the day, came back on at 5 pm.

 While the power was out, Marshall and I sat
on the porch and talked and the subject came up again
of my 1990 dream that came tragically true in 1995.

I've shared it on your blog a gazillion times and I
won't repeat it here, but interestingly it connects
to my perspective about not only my many puzzle
pieces  regarding the color yellow,  but also to the blue green
syncs ( remember all the blue green syncs a year or so ago? )
 and the blue and red lens of the glasses and
 the Ides of March movie and your Jan 14,2026
post: Red and blue spectacles.

First the yellow connection. If you recall I shared
that in the 1990 dream, I levitated out (from the house)
to the St. Rt where Marshall and I live IRL.

It was there ( in the dream) where I hovered above
the yellow dividing line in the road.
While I was hovering , I looked west First
and then I looked east, which the neighbor
who was killed 5 years later ( and whom I didn't
know in 1990 at the time of the dream
and whom I met in 1993 when
Marshall and I bought our home ), she looked east FIRST
and then west.

Again I won't go into detail of the dream again
but when Marshall and I were talking  about
it yesterday ,lo and behold and all of a sudden
I remembered the  youtube  I just sent you of Robert Sepehr's
  Vril Energy and German UFO Technology ,
where Sepehr speaks of Walter Russell.

 In that Vril video starting abt marker/frame 7:11-7:27
there is an illustration of the male/ female
( the divided two ) and in the middle, ( the balance).

Note in the illustration the male ( representing  the
red and orange spectrum ) is on the left side
and the woman ( representing the blue green
spectrum ) is on the right.

The 'dividing line' is YELLOW.

Unlike the Christian's yellow sulfur and brimstone
symbolizing the pits of hell,
  in Tibetan Buddhism is quite a bit different.
Think The Yellow Hats in Tibet.
 copy and paste: link below
"This yellow is often described as the color of
ripe grain or refined gold.
It speaks of maturation—the spiritual journey
has**** borne fruit.

 It speaks of incorruptibility and supreme value—like gold,
the enlightened mind cannot be tarnished by delusion.
 Thus, the halo is a testament to a process completed,
 an alchemical transformation of the base metals of
ordinary perception into the gold of wisdom.

William,
part 2
Note that in the Ides of March photo on
your Jan 2026 post, the red lens of the spectacles
is on the left side as well and the blue is on the right.
Of course the red lens is on the right side
 of Ryan Gosling, but looking straight on, his left.

Same with the guitarist  Sergey Kashirin's one red,
on blue shoe  in the Russian cover band
Leonid and Friends and their cover of the Ides of March
1970 hit song: Vehicle.( see link)

The red/ blue syn stream now connects to yellow,
which is the dividing line,
but it is also the center. Recall I shared
that I believe the soul's goal each lifetime
is to find the center i.e. balance.
It appears Russell's work suggests that as well.
Do note that I did NOT know of Walter Russell
until I found Robert Sepehr's video the other
day while looking for a video to link
on my comment about Vril energy.

I then decided to do a bit of research on Walter Russell
and found the video below ( starting abt marker 6:46-
6:56 ) which  shows the male red /female blue
 illustration again and in the middle of the two,
 the north/south pole which is yellow.

Maybe  Adam in the bible is an atom? Russsell's work
although a bit much for me is very interesting nonetheless.

Regarding the birds again,  for some odd reason
the 1963 stupid song came to mind. It's titled Surfin Bird.
I had forgotten all about that  obnoxious  song,
although when you're young if your parents didn't like
something, that made that something more 'cool'.
Surfin Bird is a perfect example of that.

Also I posted the beautiul cover of the British
rock band Coldplay and their 2000 hit song , Yellow.

The singer of the cover is Lachune.

I thought this part(below ) of the Yellow lyrics very interesting
indeed given the above regarding a 'dividing line'.
copy and paste:

"I drew a line
I drew a line for you
Oh, what a thing to do
And it was all**** yellow"

William,
I would like to further stress my point about what
I wrote about the color yellow.
Recall my many comments on your blog
about my personal connection to yellow including
my 'skin'. Yellow and/or High Yellow
being the term used in the Black community
to refer to someone who is light skin i.e.
multiracial or Biracial.

In this comment I wrote this copy
and paste ( see the link )
" It (yellow )speaks of incorruptibility
and supreme value—like gold,
the enlightened mind cannot be tarnished by delusion."
~~~~~
I think that statement exactly makes my point
about my belief that once we find our gold/Truth,
nobody can convince us that our truth is wrong.
Just because someone has never had a paranormal
experience doesn't mean that the paranormal
is mumbo jumbo and/or doesn't exist,
nor does it mean that the paranormal is 'demonic'.
I believe that we are more than our physical bodies
( no matter the 'color'.)
William,
I forgot to add this very interesting fact that is on
the High Yellow wiki article about a 1890
song titled : Whistling Susanna.
I've never heard of this song before but
how odd it is that in its lyrics are several of my
puzzle pieces.
Here's the song's lyrics,
Copy and paste: asterisks mine
WHISTLING SUSANNA.
Copyright, 1890, by Willis Woodward & Co
Words and Music by Frank Dumont.
I court a little ***yellow girl. her name's*** Susanna,
She's from Savannah, she's happy ***as a bird,
I tell you she's a daisy when she starts a-whistling,
Sweetest I ever heard.
The nightingale and robin and the big green linnet,
Oh, they're not in it, she drives 'em all away;
She never stops a minute, but she keeps right at it.
And this is what she whistles all the day.-(Whistling Chorus.)
I've never tried to kiss her, for her lips are going,
A-puck'ring, blowing, I never get a chance;
She sits upon my knees, but then she keeps on whistling,
Only to make me dance.
Her mouth is getting crooked and it looks like blubber,
Of "injun" rubber, and ****shining like the moon,
***Oh, even while she's sleeping you can hear her whistle.**
To save her life she couldn't change the tune (Whistling chorus.)"
~~~~~~~~~

Of course I've commented a gazillion times about
my 2008 Suzy dream and the lilies but what are the odds
that this song's lyrics also mentions Susanna and
a bird, which as you recall I've commented so
many times about the Language of the Birds.

The line : "Oh, even while she's sleeping you
can hear her whistle,"
is very interesting so I decided to do a bit
of research on the symbolic meaning of whistling
and what I found is somewhat disturbing because
as I mentioned in the 1974 Past Life reading
the reader told me that my soul has always incarnated
in times of great upheavals.

As I've shared so many times,
I personally believe that humanity is on the precipice of
that shifting of ages aka The Great Reset.

Copy and paste:
"Symbolism of the Whistling
Whistling in folklore often symbolizes messages
from the beyond or warnings foretelling approaching
calamity.
For you, this connection underscores the belief
that these whistlers embody the transition
between the material and spiritual worlds,
acting as ***messengers that help interpret the unknown.***
~~~~~~
Sync fairies never disappoint. At least not for me.
William,
Sorry about all of these comments, but I just found this
about a new movie by Steven Spielberg titled : Disclosure Day
which premiers in the US on June 12.
The movie trailer came up on my youtube feed and
when I watched the trailer I couldn't
help but note all the blue green and yellow/gold.
There is also a scene with deer and a red bird so
once again bird symbolism.
Deer in movies have been very interesting lately.
Also recall last summer when I commented several
times about the three deer who came on Marshall
and I's property every day and although we
were sitting on the porch, they didn't seem
to be afraid of us. Recall I commented that
several times, the 3 deer walked through the portal
which is a place very close to the house .
Our property is almost all wooded. The portal is
between 2 very big Sycamore trees. I call that
area the portal because of our dog Jacob who
the day before he died, laid at the spot.
I began calling the three deer by the names: Fawnsy, Friendsy
and Momsy.
In the Disclosure trailer note the GOLDEN wheat.
I've been saying to Marshall that I think something
significant is going to happen in Sept, the harvest.
Perhaps at the Golden Gates?
The movie setting is Kansas City, Missouri which
surprise surprise is on the 40th parallel (actual 39lat).
Deer were also very significant in the 2023 Netflix movie
Leave the World Behind produced by the Obama's
production company Higher Ground. Obama
served as consultant on the film. The setting in
Leave the World Behind is also on the 40. NYC.
It also took place, late summer, early fall.
Recall I commented several times about what
I believe Leave the World Behind's predictive programming to be.
I'm not surprised that Spielberg is throwing
his hat in the 'the aliens are coming and end
of days prediction ring.
The protagonist's name in Disclosure Day is Margaret,
which ""coincidently"" means the Pearl.
Recall the Girl with the pearl earring painting
in the recent syncs.
Sync fairies be working overtime, no?
Wait-- there are two scenes, in two movies, featuring Travolta and Thurman dancing? I tried to have a look at them in Be Cool (a film I'd never heard of), but youtube vomited up the one from Pulp Fiction (another film I'd never heard of). Admittedly, I found it interesting and ended up watching the whole thing.
What really stuck out to me was the scene in the apartment, where Samuel L. Jackson's character, "Tyrell Julius Winnfield" (initials T.J.W., the inverse of William's)-- "Jules"-- ostensibly quotes Ezekiel 25:17. As it turns out, his version is highly fictionalized. The authentic Ezekiel 25:17 and Jules' heavily revised version share an affinity as declarations of vengeance; yet Jules also advances a positive affirmation and embeds a beatitude, if you will, in the midst of his redoubtable declamation: "Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children."
(Incidentally, the poor fellow to whom he addresses the verse is named Bret.)
As the story continues, Jules has a religious epiphany of sorts that engenders quasi-repentance and he vows to become a sort of itinerant cleric. So we have an instance of someone embarking on an informal priesthood, one that will surely be suffused by the aspiration to fulfill the above-quoted beatitude, and this tracks with the idea that William is himself in process of taking on an informal priesthood.
Wm Jas Tychonievich said...
That's funny that SLJ's character JuLeS would have someone's initials in reverse order.
Given the Z-L swap, shouldn't we entertain Samuez Z. Jackson and Juzel (for Jules, where final s has the z sound)...?
I deleted my previous comment because
my link to Rober Sepeher' was the wrong link.
I just found another very interesting video from Robert Sepehr
about Vril Society and Thule, the SS and the Aryans ,
Admiral Byrd and Operation High Jump, and Wernher von Braun and
Operation Paper Clip. The character Doc Brown in the: Back
to the Future movies was based on Von Braun.
Also and speaking of the Octagons, check out what's
on the South Lawn of the White House as a part
of the celebration of America's 250th Birthday and
Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
In the photo note the boxing ring is on
It's funny you invoked Tarantino, Uma Thurman, and John Travolta all together, even as you bounced from Be Cool (or really cold, as in icy?) to Pulp Fiction.
Tarantino is tied to spiders, given the town that is the basis for the name, Taranto, is also the basis for Tarantula. And Uma we have already established as a spider/ octopus symbol in a few other instances like the stamp message, Elvish name games, and Disney stories. And then there is Travolta and his symbols, one of which was a similar set up to the Ides of March movie poster with two different faces joined together into one (we had several other interesting Travolta ties as well, including to Odysseus and Pharazon).
That symbolism - the split faces - also tied into the Spectacles imagery, like Doc Ock, with two different color lenses or eyes, one light and one dark. Thus, your reference to Uma and Travolta dancing together to the Black Eyed Peas seems relevant, given the reference to a single Black Eye on each pea.
Black Eyed Peas are actually Beans. Who knows, maybe they were the same Beans Jack used in his Beanstalk fairy tale to reach Heaven. Pea is also a homonym for the letter P... the Black Eyed P, like for someone's name that starts with that letter - we have a few candidates there.
Wm Jas Tychonievich said...
As I've had occasion to mention before, the frontman for the Black Eyed Peas is named William James Adams and was born on March 15, 1975.
William Wright (WW) said...
Interesting. He goes by the stage name Will.i.am, which turns William into a form of the sacred name: Will I AM.
I AM brings up two interesting links. First, it appears once in the Old Testament, at the Burning Bush. When Moses asks who it is he should tell the Children of Israel that has sint him to them, I AM is the name given. The story of the Exodus, and Moses and Pharoah I think is relevant here given the other symbols, as well as the future story of the Seer in 2 Nephi 3 and the ensuing modern-day Exodus (from this world, I believe).
Second, and directly from the first, is we have another very specific reference to 3.14 or Pi. The passage with the name I AM comes from Exodus 3:14.
Wm Jas Tychonievich said...
I also used to use "will.i.am," which is how I became aware of Mr. Adams's existence. Someone tried to sell me the domain name will.i.am after first offering it to the rapper, who wasn't interested.
https://narrowdesert.blogspot.com/2021/10/no-escape-from-coincidence.html
William James has two instances of "I AM" (since J is historically a form of the letter I), corresponding to "I AM THAT I AM."
Will.i.am also alludes to Dr. Seuss's "Sam-I-Am." Sam is short for Samuel, which, appropriately enough, means "the name of God."
Wade McKenzie said...
Speaking of Black Eyed P... According to the Z-L swap, will.i.am becomes wizz.i.am.
While I'm not nearly the frequenter of bookstores that William is, just this last Sunday I did indeed pay a visit to my local Barnes & Noble and came out with one book in hand: Bob Dylan's "Tarantula".
And so long as we're on the subject of celebrity b-day tie-ins, did you know that William James "Willem" Dafoe was born on the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene?
