My gold suit

As anyone who has been following developments here will know, Bill Wright has decided that I'm the reincarnation of the Tolkien character Ar-Pharazôn the Golden, who in Daymon Smith's interpretation (though not as far as I know in canonical Tolkien) literally dressed up in gold-colored clothing and makeup. I'm not really sold on this identification (or, for that matter, on any of the numerous other past lives various people have tried to pin on me from time to time), but in the interest of transparency, I thought I should disclose the fact that for several years I was the owner of a metallic gold-colored suit.

I found this in a Deseret Industries thrift store in Utah (Kanab, I think, or possibly American Fork) when I was stationed there as a Mormon missionary. (Yes, they send Mormon missionaries to Utah for some reason.) It was a "Western"-style suit with a pointed yoke and all that, and the whole thing was made of glittering imitation cloth-of-gold. I bought it, for no deeper reason than that it was cheap, it fit me perfectly, and I would probably never find anything like it again. I tried it on a few times but then never wore it again because, well, when and where would anyone ever wear something like that? Eventually, I donated it to a Goodwill in Columbus, Ohio, and I hope it has found a good home.

One of my associates adapted the lyrics of "(I've Got a) Golden Ticket" from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory to be about my suit: "Cause I've got a golden jacket / I've got a golden pair of trousers, too . . . ."

I don't know if any photos of me wearing the suit have survived. I'll see if I can find any.

A photo of that would absolutely make my day. And this was in the days of your golden head as well I assume? Next I wonder if you'll disclose you once led an armada! ;)

No armada, sorry, but in my late teens I did build and pilot a small sailboat called the SS Lobster Already (a reference to an obscure old Happy Hooligan comic strip).

Interesting. It made me think of the lobster on the L page of Animalia that is carrying the gospel of Luke.

Well, time for another installment of interesting word etymology links (though it surprises me that I am the one doing this - you are the linguist...).

Your ship's name is pretty fascinating.

Lobster is the corrupted form of the Latin word which means "Locust, Grasshopper". It gets better in relation to that corruption, but just focusing on Locusts and Grasshoppers first.

Locusts are defined in Etymonline as:

"grasshopper, large orthopterous insect noted for mass migrations accompanied by destructive ravages of vegetation"

Thus, a ship bearing the name Lobster could be considered a link to Pharazon. Pretty strongly in my greatly biased view. He built and boarded a ship, leading his armada to Eressea, where, like a locust or lobster, he ravaged and destroyed all of the lilies on that island. He did this after drinking his own fill of the golden nectar from those flowers (Dandelion Wine?).

Pharazon and the Numenoreans were, in fact, locusts, at least from the perception of the Eresseans, and the fact that it was by water they sailed, makes the Lobster variation of Locust all the more relevant.

Grasshoppers have also come up on your blog before, juxtaposed with the Ants, and also called by you Grace Hopers.

Looking at corruption of the word is interesting. To get Lobster, the Latin word originally had a C, but it was changed to a P and then a B, along with some other modifications. Why is unclear, but one potential guess is given on Etymonline:

'The change of Latin -c- to English -p- (and, from late 14c., to -b-) is unexplained; perhaps it is by influence of Old English loppe, lobbe "spider." '

I thought the potential spider influence on Lobster was interesting, obviously.

Attaching "already" to the ship's name works well here, also, given the timing in the past of the events in question.

William,

Hmmmm... Once again back in the same loop
of yellow/gold/honey/bees/ bourbon, no?

Also, interestingly Columbus Ohio and Knab Utah,
are both on the 40th parallel north.
As is Carthage, Illinois

And speaking of loops
copy and paste:
"Kanab is situated in the ***"Grand Circle" area,****
centrally located among Vermilion Cliffs National Monument,
Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon (North Rim),
Zion National Park, Pipe Spring National Monument,
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and Lake Powell."
~~~~~~~
Also and speaking of amber/bourbon/red /yellow/
copper/orange
Oh My!!
I found this about Big Rock Candy Mountain:
( which of course is on the 40th parallel north ).
I only include this poem/song lyrics below
because of the reference to beeessss
"Oh the buzzin’ of the bees
In the cigarette trees
Near the soda water fountain
At the lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
On the big rock candy mountain'
Regarding reincarnation, and IMHO, the soul doesn't
necessarily incarnate/incarcerate
in the same skin, culture or gender, as the soul's
objective is to acquire spiritual knowledge by
'walking miles in someone else's shoes
and their gazillion points of views.
( metaphorically of course).
'Dem sync fairies be busy, no?
William,
Part 1 or 2
Something just came to me about reincarnation
which I think supports what I previously commented
about which was this :
"Regarding reincarnation, and IMHO, the soul doesn't
necessarily incarnate/incarcerate
in the same skin, culture or gender, as the soul's
objective is to acquire spiritual knowledge by
and their gazillion points of views.
IMHO, another person can BELIEVE ( because of reading
books) that we have some
of the archetypical qualities or traits of someone
in mythology or history, but again it's their belief,
which may OR may not be true.
As in all Sacred Science Knowledge and I've commented
about this a gazillion times, I truly believe
that IF there is **something** our soul wants us
to know about ourselves,
we ourselves will receive those messages
through dreams, telepathy and paranormal experiences
and synchronicity events or we'll just 'feel'
that that particular **something** is true.
Truth is never fought within the soul.
Case in point : If you recall I've commented
a gazillion times, about my 1974 Past Life reading
where the Reader told me very intriguing information
about my past lives in Atlantis and as a Monk
in Tibet. He also said that my soul always incarnates
in times of Great Upheavals.
Also recall that I shared on your blog that in 1974
I stumbled upon the Past Life Reader randomly
in a Dayton Daily Newspaper
in the classified ads. I WAS NOT looking for a Past
Life reader, at least not consciously.
William
Part 2
And you may ask: so Debbie, how could THIS 'random guy,
(which you said that you never met before)
tell YOU about your past lives if 'no one else can tell
us who or where or why our souls were in our
incarnations.?
And here is the answer which came to me later on
today ( May 29 ) after I wrote my previous comment and
that is this:
In 1974, the Reader told me something which my soul,
ALREADY KNEW.
Connect the dots: If you recall I shared with you
that I had levitation dreams beginning in
1965 when I was 10 years old after my grandmother
Sarah died.
Levitation, along
with clairvoyance, clairaudience, telepathy,
and paranormal experiences are all SIDDHIS powers.
( see link )
I shared with you a gazillion times what the Reader said
about my incarnation in Atlantis where I was being taken
to be sacrificed and I broke away and began running
and the people ( White people) wearing white robes
chased me when all of a sudden I levitated and was
able to escape them.
I started having that recurring dream in 1965, NINE years
before the reading!!! I was SHOCKED when the Reader told
me about my dream as again I did NOT know this man nor did
he know me.
The Reader also told me of an incarnation as a
Monk in Tibet, and recall
I've shared with you many times that I've always been
attracted to that part of the world.
I've never been to Tibet or taken courses in school
about Tibet or read books about Tibet.
My Asian attraction began when I was about 7 years old
when I saw ( on TV ) a acrobatic act performed by
young Asian girls on the TV show Ed Sullivan.
In 1974, when the Reader told me about the Tibet
incarnation I said to him that I believed that,
because I've always been
attracted to that part of the world.
That's my point and really the big picture as why
I comment here on your blog William,
and that big picture is very Simply this:
I believe that we are more than our physical bodies.
All the information that we need to know to help us
navigate in this duality dimension
is in our soul, which I believe our soul
is connected to God.
If we don't understand that or take the time to research
this information or even consider its possibility,
we will always be in a state of chaos. IMHO
Note that the siddhi powers are the same as the Übermensch.
I'd bet the farm that Friedrich Nietzsche knew
about the siddhis powers as he too was , more likely
than not and IMO one of the Eleven's aka
The Shining Ones as well........ as is my soul ;-))
We all have the ability to tap this source, not just me
and IMHO, it's NOT demonic.
