Given the recent theme of writing things backwards or upside down, I thought it was potentially significant that the student wrote the name “backwards” in a sense, but in such a way that the final result was the same as if it had been written in the ordinary way. It could also represent discovering the goddess’s attributes first (the title Star-Queen) and only later arriving at her actual identity or name.
Varda is also called Elbereth. Anyone who grew up playing NetHack will know that writing that particular name has special significance.

William,
El-berth is an El and a BR
Bert as in Robert is interesting given
the recent Pope connection.
Copy and Paste:
"The name Robert, of German origin, translates to
"bright fame." It combines the elements "hrod,"
meaning fame or glory, and "berht," meaning bright.
The name has been popular since its introduction
to England by the Normans in the Middle Ages."

Roberts' are Shining Ones.
Another interesting Pope Leo connection is
that his linage is Creole on his maternal side.
His mother's family are from New Orleans.
In many of the old photos being shown of him
and his brothers it is apparent
( at least to people who are multiracial)
that Leo has multiracial linage.
Even bees are bi-colored no?? ;-))
William,
Also Dolton Illinois, Leo's home town, is on the 40th parallel North
as is Rome and Vatican City.
The El's follow the 40.
Eheheheh~ Yes, in NetHack, many hostile monsters respect/fear Elbereth, so engraving her name on a square helps the player avoid attacks while standing on that square. The mechanics behind this are very detailed due to the game's age and complexity. (Gameplay over graphics! My intro to NetHack was a graphical version called Falcon's Eye -- now long abandoned, though succeeded by Vulture -- but by my mid-teens I was getting comfy with text-based roguelikes.)

Her name being written in reverse reminds me that several Eastern countries put surnames before given names.

William,
I forgot.
Leo ( omit the vowels ) is also an L.
Also flip the capital letter L bottoms up and you have 7.
As in double O 7..... 007.
Hidden in plain sight.
I wonder if it relates to the concept of how to excise or remove someone like the recent discussion of Mxyz, suggesting Varda is currently removed from your life. This could lend credence to the idea of the wrong Mary being worshipped, regardless of your intent. The Black Madonna song you posted also aids this idea imo.
William,
As stated in my previous comment and
as I've shared before about the BRs aka The Bears.
The Bears can be both Polar ( Bern
and Berlin ) and also Black/Brown ( Russia).
The Bears are symbolic of Strength Power and Might
to be feared.
I think that Wandering Gondolas' comment
about Elbereth's position of being feared on NetHack
somewhat mirrors my perspective
about the symbolic meaning of the BRs ( Bears).
The BR's are extremely powerful. Britain is a BR.
BeRlin , BeRn are BR's.
Recall in my Oscar dream, Oscar answered my
BRother's obscure question with one word.
Oscar's one answer was : BERN.
I found this information interesting:
Copy and Paste: ( link below ) asterisks mine
"Since the 16th century the bear has been the ultimate symbol
of Russia. Representing both the good—strength, power
and sheer might—and the bad—ferocity and club-footedness—
it’s perhaps the only accurate likeness of the enigma
that is Russia. Over the years it’s played many roles
in Russian society; from an ****all-wise spirit god****
to be worshipped to a first-class fool, forced to drink wine
and wear babushka scarves, to a symbol of wealth,
ruthlessly hunted for its pelt, paws and organs.
Though the accounts of early medieval European travelers
(which sparked the myth that Russia was a country
overrun with bears) may not have been wholly true,
there is truth in the fact that the bear is an
integral part of Russian culture."

The BR's are also in Norse Mythology.
I'm sure you are aware of the Berserkers.
( see link below )
The Muppet Oscar is described as a monster
which can be symbolic of a Grisly Bear
or in Norse Mythology,
a Berserker ( which means out of control,
to be feared).

Just because someone or something claims a name, doesn't mean it is that thing. I thought of two specific examples after thinking on this more. Whether they are relevant or not, I don't know, but here they are in case.
First, the Numenorean Kings began adopting for themselves the sacred names of the Valar, even as they began to blaspheme against them and cut off Numenor from their messengers. Ar-Adunakhor, was the first king to do this, naming himself "Lord of the West", a title that belonged to Manwe. He did this, even as he banned the use of the Elvish language and sought to cut off relationships with the Eldar, who were Manwe's messengers in administering to Men.
In Mormonism, we have the account of Moses and Satan from the PGP. After Moses told Satan that he would only worship "The Only Begotten", a title for Jesus, Satan then claimed that title for himself, declaring to Moses that he instead was The Only Begotten.
These examples seemed relevant because in both cases they are titles. "Elentari", the first word written in your dream, is a title for Varda. It mean "Queen of the Stars/ Star Queen". The student in your dream then filled in Varda as the person who that title or name applies to.
But if my guess is right about Ungoliant, she also sits among the stars, consistent with Nephi's vision of the Mother of Abominations sitting upon the Many Waters (those waters being our sky). She would no doubt also like to claim that title of Star Queen for herself, not necessarily inaccurately given that Nephi saw that she would have complete dominion over "all the earth" within those waters in the last days.
Basically this would be consistent with an imposter theme, is where I am going. We might infer that *the* Varda is who we are referring to when we speak of an Elentari, but in fact we may be speaking of one who has blasphemously adopted that title for herself. I mean, no one wants to be called The Great Whore, I'm sure. Something like Elentari sounds a whole lot better and fitting to one who desires to be queen.
