A red frisbee almost brained him

My last post, "Dinoco, here we come!" brought up the Al Jolson song "California, Here I Come," with its repeated line, "Open up that golden gate." At the same time, I have been reading Karen Russell's novel Swamplandia! about a family that owns a gator-wrestling theme park with 98 alligators, all of which are named Seth. These two things together made me think of The Golden Gate, the 1986 novelty novel by Vikram Seth, which is written entirely (even the table of contents!) in Onegin stanzas, the verse form invented by Pushkin for his verse novel of that name. Here’s the first stanza of the novel proper:

To make a start more swift than weighty,
Hail Muse. Dear Reader, once upon
A time, say, circa 1980,
There lived a man. His name was John.
Successful in his field though only
Twenty-six, respected, lonely,
One evening as he walked across
Golden Gate Park, the ill-judged toss
Of a red frisbee almost brained him.
He thought, "If I died, who'd be sad?
Who'd weep? Who'd gloat? Who would be glad?
Would anybody?" As it pained him,
He turned from this dispiriting theme
To ruminations less extreme.

In my Dinoco post, I linked to William Wright's post about Dinoco, which latter post also happens to feature this image:

There's the name John, together with an image that is certainly suggestive of someone getting brained by a red frisbee.

Getting brained by a frisbee also called to mind the image of St. Peter I posted a couple days ago, where he sits with a disk-plate (or frisbee?) on top of his head, while holding his keys. You could say he has been brained by a frisbee.

In that post, I realized that may have something to do with why the helmet I initially saw in my dream looked like a disk or plate, before transforming into Dinoco Lightning McQueen.

What I don't fully understand is the red vs. blue imagery. It would have been easy to have the OG Lightning McQueen, who is red, be the plate-disk-frisbee helmet with which a head or brain is covered. This would have tied in with these other red instances fairly well. But it was clearly the Dinoco Blue version.

Much the same idea exists in India, that blue is “the radiance of black.” (This is the meaning of Lord Shiva being blue.) A blue disc/halo perhaps ties in with the “new moon shining” imagery.

The opening line of that link was pretty funny, where the author says:

"In this new icon, St. Dionysios the Areopagite seems to gently smile as he firmly blesses the viewer."

Ain't no way that dude in the picture is smiling.

The comments were unintentionally funny also, with one commenter suggesting Dionysios actually is smiling, but just under his beard. That was a good one. I guess he just forgot to tell the rest of his face.

I just realized the author is actually also the painter. That makes the line even funnier.

Interesting the illustration of the ship's bow on the book: Lion's Den.

Consider that the bow is where the BRIDGE is located. The navigator(Captain)
steers the 8-point wheel from the bridge.
Recall my predictions about the Golden Gate Bridge
(which its color is International Orange)

In the apocalyptic Netflix movie Leave the World Behind, a huge cargo ship (the White Lion)
runs aground because all navigational systems have been comprised during
a cyber incident. ( see trailer link)

Interestingly according to Wiki: "The White Lion was an English privateer
operating under a Dutch letter of marque which brought the first Africans to the English colony of Virginia in 1619, a year before the arrival of the Mayflower in New England".

As I've stated Michelle and Barack Obama's production company Higher Ground
were major investors and consultants on Leave the World Behind.

Guess who is under the astrological sign of Leo the Lion???

Also interesting connections to DEN (Lion's Den).

Den (Denver, DIA (Denver International Airport)
and Dinoco (omitting the vowels becomes DNC) and Don.

Do recall my comments about my perspective about Denver becoming the
Capitol of The New Atlantis.
Recall my 104 Meridian West comments.

Also, last but not least,
last night I saw a very interesting dystopian Netflix movie titled: Code 8.
Needless to say that movie too was chockfull of symbolism, and IMO,
predictive programming. (see trailer link )

The reason why I mention this movie and what caught my eye, is the protagonist
becomes a 'JANITOR'. Recall our recent dialogue about Usher, Janitor and Janus all 'gatekeepers, which the plot of this movie absolutely conveys.

Everything is connected, no?

You were expecting maybe the Laughing Buddha? By Orthodox standards, Dionysius looks downright jolly.

In that case, I might also give a hard pass on the 'firm' blessing he is offering.

Loaves of gold

(Not to be confused with " Leaves of gold .") Wherever these bread syncs are going, the sync fairies seem intent on connecting all...
